Start to finish... plentiful free parking, comfortable bar and easy check in, friendly, polite staff through check- in, dinner and breakfast, amazing dinner (pricey but exceptional), comfortable king bed in spacious room with walk in shower (room 6 superior). Filling breakfast included with superior room - extra money covered price and well worth it. If had to criticise... smell of bleach in bathroom initially a little overpowering (does reassure was cleaned though) and could also benefit from usb sockets. No particular view from room but pleasant terrace and outside eating area available. Found too late tea room across the road with alpacas in the field!!

Very limited parking. None available for staying guests in busy days. Room not serviced even when notice inside says towels changed daily!! Meals good but overpriced for area

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Room was very good. The bar served good drinks and the food was also very tasty.

This lovely pub, with separate accommodation block was a real find. Definitely recommend it to others. Free parking available at the accommodation. Good WiFi signal in the accommodation. Delicious meals available in the pub next to the accommodation. A real find!

Excellent cabin style rooms with great walk in showers, however, the rooms were difficult to excess while carrying luggage or for the disabled.

Beautiful and very spacious apartment. Fully equipped kitchen. King bed and bunk beds in separate bedrooms. Bathroom has bath and separate shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. We had a lovely time and would come back. It’s convenient for the Cotswolds, Bath, Bristol and lovely countryside and villages nearby, and not far from the M4 - though it’s in a quiet little village. The pub itself is lovely too.

It was great service food a room were fabulous but I fear my car got bashed in the car park I have no proof no cameras bit I did have white paint/ chalk and the car was cleaned that morning so there was no damage then. Can’t blame anyone other than the person who hit it and did not report it. Slightly put a dampener on the trip bit I can’t blame the pub and staff such a lovely little spot, food was great a real comfort pleaser.

Wow! What a lovely hotel. The pictures dont do it justice, a cosy, traditional but really modern pub with super modern new rooms attached. I will 100% come back with my boyfriend. Super lovely. Really recommend to anyone staying for work. I had little squash packets in my room too which I really loved, that was really attention to detail.

It was so awful that we didn’t stay!!! We arrived and there was no where to park and the girl at the desk said she didn’t know how to check anyone in and could I wait for the manager, the manager’s solution to parking was that someone from the bar would probably leave in the next hour! How can you have a hotel with no parking and it was on a busy road and there was no parking anywhere around. We drove up and down. Eventually there was a parking spot which another car then tried to take and I had to stop them. We then found that we had to climb two external flights of steps that we had not know about, this wasn’t in the hotel information. We would not have booked had we known this as our dog has a heart condition. The hotel whilst stating it is dog friendly has no areas where dogs can do their business. No the room… well I cried, it was dirty, I picked up the blanket across the end of the bed and ended up with a dusty powdery film left on my hands, there was dogs hair in all the nooks and crannies where it had not been cleaned sufficiently. It made my skin crawl. I didn’t bother complaining at the time because I was too upset, I just handed the key back and left. £209 down the drain! I also didn’t stay long enough to take photos. This is not a standard I would expect from Hotel.com Very unhappy customers.

The room was spotless, great shower and the fact they got the taps position correct.( normally it’s over the shower head which is silly ) Easy parking and wonderful smiley staff. I’d definitely book this place again.

Staff were friendly and the service was great throughout our stay. Our room was a very good size and was clean. Our bed was huge and very comfortable. The third bed was a folding bed which our son also found very comfortable. The room had the usual amenities and is part of a detached block. We had dinner and the food was amazing, some of the best pub food I've eaten. Breakfast was also good but a the service was a little slow. Some of the negatives include: * The soap / shower gel dispensers weren't working quite right and you would only get a tiny dribble of soap. * The areas was generally quiet but the accommodation block faces the road and I did wake up in the evening when a vehicle (an HGV) came by. * When we checked in we were advised that we would need to pay an additional fee of £20 for the third (child) bed. I check the email confirmation and the message from the Hotels.com and neither stated that there was an additional charge. It was only when I looked at the booking page and buried somewhere in the description it stated that the room rate was for two occupants only. I see this as a stealthy way of artificially reducing the room rate rate and I've never had to pay this at any of the other hotels I've stayed in. When you specify the number of occupants of a hotel room I would expect that the price shown is the price you pay for all. So overall not a bad hotel and would recommend the food but would probably look at other hotels in the area.

Lovely property, with lovely staff. Was lucky to get an upgrade to the apartment, which was a lovely, spacious clean space that anyone could enjoy. Breakfast was also very nice.

After trying to contact the venue to speak to someone, i have still not had any response. I booked for a 2 night stay and my parents also had a room booked for a family wedding. The first night we had a lovely meal in the restaurant, absolutely cannot fault the food and wait staff. However both rooms were dirty. Mum and Dads room was a bit dusty, mine was really dirty. Every surface covered in dust, pulled the bedside table out to plug my phone in, it looked like hadn't been cleaned in a long time and after taking a shower, i walked into the bedroom and my feet were dirty. I hardly slept the first night, i was wheezing and sneezing all night and the security light outside kept coming on outside. The next morning I was going to speak to someone however the housekeeper started coming round the tables at breakfast. We mentioned the issues and she said she hadn't gotten around to deep cleaning my room yet, she had only done the first 3 and on her own, close to retirement and nearly crying when we said the room was dirty. She was super helpful in making sure my parents room had a good clean that day. I had to move rooms whilst getting ready for the wedding which wasn't ideal but the second room was at least cleaner. It was a very expensive treat and no one from the restaurant has contacted me. The restaurant was also very dusty.

Our stay at this lovely pub was fabulous, the service from the staff was amazing and they were just everything you could want. The room was warm and comfortable and the shower room was lovely too.

From checking in at the bar you know that the quality of the room is going to be of a good standard as the pub itself is very nice modern but still classic feel of a country pub. Ate in the pub 1st night of the stay and food was a very standard and reasonably priced for the quality. Only slight negative we had was that although it’s in a quiet village a lot of traffic seems to come through it and can be heard in the accommodation. Will definitely use again when we come back down to visit our friends.

Everyone was helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and better than expected. Check out was quick and efficient. Latte we ordered at check out was also excellent and better than expected.
