El Olivar Palace Marrakech

We booked a three night weekend break for our wedding anniversary arriving late on a Friday evening. We received a friendly greeting our bags were taken to the room and we had a traditional Moroccan meal in the restaurant before drinks and retiring to our very nice room. The service was excellent, staff really attentive and overall a very nice hotel. We deliberately picked this hotel as it is well away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Marrakesh, if you want to be near the action this is not the place for you. The hotel was extremely quiet on the last weekend in November which suited us but may not be for everyone. The all inclusive was somewhat limited with local drinks at one outdoor bar being the only option, this more than met our requirements but I would imagine when the hotel is busy you could wait a long time for a drink. The entertainment team were amazing and keen to involve everyone without being overly pushy. We will certainly look to return again and thoroughly recommend for a relaxing break but not if you are looking for a full on action packed holiday

Excellent séjour. Franchement le personnel est au petit soin à tout moment. Seul bémol pour moi : - les piscines ne sont pas chauffé, l’eau est glacée! Même sous un soleil de 35 degrés - la nourriture n’est pas exceptionnelle - la piscine intérieure chauffée sent beaucoup le renfermé

Les animations du soir sont vraiment sympas : un grand merci à Abdel, Mouss et à l’autre animateur (dont j’ai oublié le prénom, désolée !) pour leur énergie et leur bonne humeur. Ils se donnent à fond ! Merci aussi aux jeunes serveurs pour leurs sourires et leur gentillesse chaque soir. Je recommande cet établissement : j’y ai passé 5 jours vraiment super !

This hotel excells in kindness & service. Rooms & facilities are good ( not top notch) but everything is served with a smile. Food (we did breakfast and dinner here) was good. Bar, outside bar and swimming pool were great. Thank you staff for making our stay such a nice & warm break. Highly recommended!

Poor standards throughout the hotel and whilst there many staff the level of competence is minimal The All Inclusive package is laughable - being forced to sit outside to have a drink from the Bar sums it up

This hotel is definitely not a palace , nor a 5 stars. Even if the staff is welcoming (one of the women who was serving eggs for breakfast was not at all) the building is old, the carpets are dirty, some parts of the buildings are not clean at all. The inside pool was not open and it was not mentioned when I book the stay. The snacks and a large part of the buffet is made only was very simple ingredients and dishes. The dessert part offer is only small bits of cake and ice cream are not quality. The best moment was the breakfast with the omelette side. The donut/ sfeng side for snack was good.

Bon accueil mais déçu par l’animation quasi inexistante. Ne pas prendre du all inclusive car on s’est ennuyé et le buffet est répétitif. Sinon établissement propre. On est resté 1 semaine et on a pas vu les toboggans fonctionner.

Ce que je regrette l’état de la chambre papier peins déchire tache sur la moquette et surtout le restaurant pas de choix pas de limite par personne et des gens qui remplissent leur assiette sans finir qui a pour conséquence pas de choix pour ceux qui arrivent plus tard Décevant par rapport au prix

Ce n’est pas un 5 étoile limite un 3,5 étoile . Le personnels au top mais niveaux restauration zéro les produit son pas frais , buffet très copieux limite une cantine . Les chambres spacieuse mais la lingerie a une odeur de renfermer présence plusieurs fois de cafard dans la chambre . Piscine froide qui frôle les 10 degrés . Honnêtement cette hôtel et à fuire

This is a perfect spotted after you going to many tours in Morroco, its all inclusive hotel super clean and the staff friendly and professional i enjoy to stay there, its like a vacations in your own vacations before you coming back home, the food excellent too 10/10

Hier j’ai quitter très furieuse, depuis deux jours je réclame un objet perdu qui a du tomber de ma chambre dans un espace ou il y l’accès seulement au personnel avec l’existante de la caméra de surveillance , il mon fait traîner deux jours, et quand j’ai réclamé de voir les Camera au début ils disent qu’il y a rien puis, quand j’ai insisté de la voir moi même ils disent que la caméra n’est pas orientée vers ma chambre, sans parler du service de la chambre ni les groscafards qui on débarque en plein nuit et moi avec mon bébé Je réclame un remboursement de l’objet perdu et des jours perdu sans pouvoir faire des activités car l’objet perdu était important pour faire l’activité J’ai réservé via expédia car je fait confiance que le classement de l’hôtel est honoré mais malheureusement ce n’est pas le cas

One of the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Not a 5* worthy hotel at all. Very old. Worst part was our first night one of us had to sleep on the floor because the bed was completely broken. Should have chexked before taking guests in. The other rooms sink went block so friends had to come and use our room. Not much veriety of food at all. Definitely not a 5* may be a 3.

The entire staff was absolutely fantastic and a joy to be around from start to finish. We arrived at the resort late around 12:15 am. I asked the front clerk were there any vending machines. Not long after we were in our room, someone knocked on our door with two full plates of food. The staff at El Olivar, helped make our 11th year anniversary exceptionally memorable and we are thankful for your hospitality.

Un superbe hôtel avec un personnel irréprochable qui fait tout pour que vous passiez un super séjour ! Le restaurant est très bon.

The property was ok. Most of the service received was great, however the we were met outside by bell hop(?) he became agitated when we said we would carry our own bags and insisted on carrying them. When we eventually got to our room he stood there expecting a tip, so we gave him what little money we had which to be fair wasn't much, roughly 20 Dirhams.. he got angry with us saying it was only £1 in English money, I found this appalling behaviour from a staff member!!! The food at the buffets were mostly Luke warm, however there was a fantastic range of foods.

Tout était parfait, mais un peu loin du centre il faut prendre la navette de l'hôtel mais avec des contraintes horaires ou payer le taxi

Such beautiful architecture, staff was always available for anything you needed. Food was amazing with so much variety, even a picky eater would find something to eat! Well worth it.
