Travelled with elderly parents so I was looking a hotel with a lift and chanced upon Imperial Hotel and Spa on Expedia. It did not disappoint. All the staff were courteous, kind and welcoming. They made our stay very comfortable. Our receptionist Grace was very helpful and went all out to facilitate our travels. They made it a point to confirm all our travel pick up details! The area is great - food and massage options are just a stone throw away. There is some age to the hotel (expected and they were upfront about it) but the service and accessibility made up for it. Will definitely recommend this hotel!

I cannot express how much Grace at reception and Anna helped me and my daughter with this trip. This was my daughter’s first trip internationally and my first time to Vietnam. It was made extra special by their attentiveness. Grace helped us book flights to travel more inside the country and see more sights, helped us find good local traditional restaurants, and made our stay absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort and convenient location. Very walkable to lots of great attractions and food, the spa was wonderful and massages were great too. Even nicer than the pictures and the breakfast was tasty as well. Book this for your stay you will not be disappointed 😊

Stayed here in early December for a night. It’s tucked away in a street on the northwest side of the lake, which is a 5 min walk away. I arrived in a taxi and the staff greeted me immediately upon exiting the car. They helped me with my backpack and gave me a cup a tea while signing me in at the front desk. The hotel went through a recent remodel since the last time I stayed here and it is top-notch. Super clean and felt super comfortable. The staff was very attentive throughout the stay and the breakfast buffet was pretty good! Definitely good too start up your day for Hanoi. Perfect location and walkable for everything around and there’s even foot massage places down the street you can go to right after a long day of walking. I stayed here once before 4 years ago, and tried it out again because I thought the first experience was already good. Would definitely recommend here to stay for a short or long period of time.

3階のツインお風呂付に5泊。ハノイでおいしいものを食べ博物館や美術館を回りました。 止まって客引きしているタクシーに1回乗ったけどぼったくりでしたので、1㎞くらいで普通だと30kなのに、2500ｋ払えとか言われたので、40ｋ払い、下りて、文句あるなら警察呼べと言ったら、しぶしぶ逃げていきました。 流しのは数回乗ってすべてメーターで、1，2㎞なので30から60ｋで良好。グラブは試したけど、集合場所が悪いようで捉まえられませんでした。 金曜夕方から日曜まで歩行者天国のためタクシーが入れない。引っ込んだ位置なので200mほど歩かないといけない。雨なら厳しい。逆に車から離れるので騒音は少ない。バイクが通るのは仕方ないが、歩行者天国では通行不可にすべきでしょう。 有名な広場まで200m、人形劇場まで400m、大教会まで500mと便利な位置ではある。 設備は少し古く落ち着いた内装である。お風呂があるのは助かるが、2回目はお湯が出なくなる。 朝食のレストランは景色と内容、サービスとてもよい、ただ夕食、バーはやっていない。 向かいにあるピザ屋はとてもはやっていて大きな焚火式窯が2個もあり、味はナポリと変わらず、ベトナム式ではないビールも飲めるが値段もそれなりである。 ベトナム式レストランも観光地値段。少し歩いて探せばローカル値段のがある。 近くのマッサージや７．８軒、北に３００mくらいの旧市街だと、足マッサージ120ｋだけど近くは150ｋと高い。 空港送迎はヒュンデのセダンで値段も安く助かった。 5月初めで外は暑く歩くと汗まみれになるが、部屋のクーラーが気持ちいけど、すぐ着替えないと風邪をひく。寝ていてクーラーの風を弱くしていなかったので風邪をひいてしまった。 近くのコンビニはBRGマーケット250m、ここは品ぞろえもよく、バラマキお土産にも便利。

Imperail Hotel & Spa is in a great location and very well maintained. Drawbacks were that there was not sufficient closet space in our room and shower drain was located on opposite side of bathroom from the shower so entire floor of bathroom got very wet every time we used the shower.

Die Lage ist ideal für Besuche in der Altstadt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sauber und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ok. Die „Skybar“ ist etwas weniger gelungen und nicht sehr einladend.

This was my 3rd visit to Hanoi. This was by far the best hotel I have stayed in. The thing that impressed me the most was the staff. Every single one of them was a 10! And the feee breakfast spread was amazing. I am definitely staying here again next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights at Imperial Hotel and Spa. We found all the staff very friendly, helpful and polite - they all made us feel welcome, arranged everything from booking tours to transport. They were very kind in storing some of our suitcases while we went on a two night Ha Long Bay cruise - they certainly went out of their way to accommodate any request. The breakfast was delicious and every day seemed to have different selections. The room was spacious, clean and had comfortable large beds. The hotel is situated on a quieter street in the old quarter and it was just perfect at the end of the day to have a peaceful sleep.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights at Imperial Hotel and Spa. We found all the staff very friendly, helpful and polite - they all made us feel welcome, arranged everything from booking tours to transport. Stayed here in early December for a night. It’s tucked away in a street on the northwest side of the lake, which is a 5 min walk away. I arrived in a taxi and the staff greeted me immediately upon exiting the car. They helped me with my backpack and gave me a cup a tea while signing me in at the front desk. The hotel went through a recent remodel since the last time I stayed here and it is top-notch. Super clean and felt super comfortable. The staff was very attentive throughout the stay and the breakfast buffet was pretty good! Definitely good too start up your day for Hanoi. Perfect location and walkable for everything around and there’s even foot massage places down the street you can go to right after a long day of walking. I stayed here once before 4 years ago, and tried it out again because I thought the first experience was already good. Would definitely recommend here to stay for a short or long period of time.

This property has a lot of potential but completely falls short of even being a 3 star. There is a complete lack of detail in everything. The rooms meet the minimum standard of clean, meaning the sheets and towels are changed and trash is taken out, however they are very dusty, with dusty cobwebs everywhere. The mirrors and doors are covered in fingerprints and dirty smudges. The high touch areas, like handles, hair dryer and tv remote were greasy. Also, the towels were clean, but were very worn out and many had stains.

Trevligt hotell i mycket centralt läge i Hanoi. Fantastisk personal. Det finns dock rum utan fönster och ett sådant hade jag råkat boka, till mitt försvar så var det inte helt tydligt att det förekommer fönsterlösa rum på sidan. Men det ordnade personalen med en uppgradering till ett större rum, med fönster helt utan kostnad. Mycket bra hanterat av personalen i receptionen!

Room is spacious and looks nice. Bath looks ok but a bit dated and needs improvement. On one of our stay the bathtub/shower wasn’t draining but after I told front desk they were able to fix it. Front office staff were the best! They’re very helpful. They even went above and beyond by walking our 4 luggages to our taxi that’s a block away due to road restriction. Would recommend this hotel for its location and staff’s demeanor. thank you guys

I loved this property, loved how central this property was. Although the area is noisy and overly crowded, it's what gives it the special touch for being in the Old quarter. In the end, they gave us some coffees and a gift for our stay. The room was small but the bathroom and shower were giant. The breakfast was good and all the decoration of the place is very nice. They say they gave me a room upgrade but I'm honestly not sure about that, since I'm VIP Platinum and the hotel was VIP Access. I recommend it if you want to get to know the center of Hanoi and be close to everything.

Very pleasant one night stay for my family of 4 and my elderly parents. This hotel is at the heart of everything. All the staff are very helpful. The hotel manager John was extremely helpful and knowledgeable right from the start, assisting with setting up the lamp in my parents’ room and also with a luggage zip issue they had. The rooms we had were very spacious and the bed that we had in our room was the biggest we had had for a hotel room in a long while! Thank you John and all your staff for making our stay so memorable!

Imperail Hotel & Spa is in a great location and very well maintained. Drawbacks were that there was not sufficient closet space in our room and shower drain was located on opposite side of bathroom from the shower so entire floor of bathroom got very wet every time we used the shower.

All staff were exceptional, especially the front desk and Manager, Ian. Excellent location, in laneway with good choice of restaurants and couple of bars. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was on the 8th floor and had a good variety. Would highly recommend.

I cannot express how much Grace at reception and Anna helped me and my daughter with this trip. This was my daughter’s first trip internationally and my first time to Vietnam. It was made extra special by their attentiveness. Grace helped us book flights to travel more inside the country and see more sights, helped us find good local traditional restaurants, and made our stay absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort and convenient location. Very walkable to lots of great attractions and food, the spa was wonderful and massages were great too. Even nicer than the pictures and the breakfast was tasty as well. Book this for your stay you will not be disappointed 😊

We got some great massages, the breakfast staff always remembered us and how we like to order our pho, and the front door staff rarely let us open the door. They do such a great job of making guests feel so personally cared for.

【立地】 オールドクォーターの狭い通りが好きで、ハノイのカオスを身近に体験できる場所にある。ホアンキエム湖もすぐそこ。 週末は歩行者天国対象の場所なので、タクシーがホテルの前まで来ることができないので、荷物多い人は気をつけて。 歩行者天国の週末は真夜中まで賑やか。静かさを求めるには不向き。 ホテルに面する通りも狭いので、時間帯によっては車の乗り入れが大変で、50mくらい歩く必要あります。 【部屋】 部屋の広さは十分。 シャワーは温度設定できるタイプで、温度調節が容易でよかった。あ、テレビが映らなかった。部屋によるのかも。私はテレビ見なくても過ごせたので特に問題無し。 【食事】 朝食は日本人に合う味付けだと思います。どれも美味しくいただきました。 ただ、部屋の無料の水は、、、便に簡易的に封してあるもので、これを飲む勇気はなかった。うがい程度なら大丈夫でした。 メリア、デュパルクにも泊まったことありますが、こっちでも十分でした。3泊しましたが、快適に過ごせました。また利用したいと思います。

Stayed here in early December for a night. It’s tucked away in a street on the northwest side of the lake, which is a 5 min walk away. I arrived in a taxi and the staff greeted me immediately upon exiting the car. They helped me with my backpack and gave me a cup a tea while signing me in at the front desk. The hotel went through a recent remodel since the last time I stayed here and it is top-notch. Super clean and felt super comfortable. The staff was very attentive throughout the stay and the breakfast buffet was pretty good! Definitely good too start up your day for Hanoi. Perfect location and walkable for everything around and there’s even foot massage places down the street you can go to right after a long day of walking. I stayed here once before 4 years ago, and tried it out again because I thought the first experience was already good. Would definitely recommend here to stay for a short or long period of time.

The location is great right in the center of the Old Quarter. Lots of shopping and restaurants. Short walks to many of the sights. The staff is wonderful and is very helpful. They helped us with Visa's and a trip to Halong Bay. I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic hotel, great location. Very friendly and helpful staff, couldn't have done more for us. Some rooms don't have windows so upgrade to the best room available it doesn't cost much more. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel is in the old town right beside the lake and everything is in walking distance. Have stayed here 3 times already and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Hanoi.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights at Imperial Hotel and Spa. We found all the staff very friendly, helpful and polite - they all made us feel welcome, arranged everything from booking tours to transport. They were very kind in storing some of our suitcases while we went on a two night Ha Long Bay cruise - they certainly went out of their way to accommodate any request. The breakfast was delicious and every day seemed to have different selections. The room was spacious, clean and had comfortable large beds. The hotel is situated on a quieter street in the old quarter and it was just perfect at the end of the day to have a peaceful sleep.

スタッフの対応は親切でよかった。 ただエキストラベッドが壊れてたのにすぐには交換してもらえなかったのと途中からお湯が出なかったで星３つにしました。 2泊しましたが朝食は毎日メニューが変わりカラメルプリンは美味しかった。 送迎の車のドライバーも凄くよかったです。

3階のツインお風呂付に5泊。ハノイでおいしいものを食べ博物館や美術館を回りました。 止まって客引きしているタクシーに1回乗ったけどぼったくりでしたので、1㎞くらいで普通だと30kなのに、2500ｋ払えとか言われたので、40ｋ払い、下りて、文句あるなら警察呼べと言ったら、しぶしぶ逃げていきました。 流しのは数回乗ってすべてメーターで、1，2㎞なので30から60ｋで良好。グラブは試したけど、集合場所が悪いようで捉まえられませんでした。 金曜夕方から日曜まで歩行者天国のためタクシーが入れない。引っ込んだ位置なので200mほど歩かないといけない。雨なら厳しい。逆に車から離れるので騒音は少ない。バイクが通るのは仕方ないが、歩行者天国では通行不可にすべきでしょう。 有名な広場まで200m、人形劇場まで400m、大教会まで500mと便利な位置ではある。 設備は少し古く落ち着いた内装である。お風呂があるのは助かるが、2回目はお湯が出なくなる。 朝食のレストランは景色と内容、サービスとてもよい、ただ夕食、バーはやっていない。 向かいにあるピザ屋はとてもはやっていて大きな焚火式窯が2個もあり、味はナポリと変わらず、ベトナム式ではないビールも飲めるが値段もそれなりである。 ベトナム式レストランも観光地値段。少し歩いて探せばローカル値段のがある。 近くのマッサージや７．８軒、北に３００mくらいの旧市街だと、足マッサージ120ｋだけど近くは150ｋと高い。 空港送迎はヒュンデのセダンで値段も安く助かった。 5月初めで外は暑く歩くと汗まみれになるが、部屋のクーラーが気持ちいけど、すぐ着替えないと風邪をひく。寝ていてクーラーの風を弱くしていなかったので風邪をひいてしまった。 近くのコンビニはBRGマーケット250m、ここは品ぞろえもよく、バラマキお土産にも便利。

Staff was friendly. Location was good. Our first night the tv remote did not work and there was gum on the hallway carpet. The free breakfast was average. I had diarrhea after the breakfast. The free bottled water offered I suspected was reused tap water. The value was overall decent.

I loved this hotel. The staff were very helpful, attentive, professional, and informative. My room was very clean and nice and cool before I walked in, they have the AC turned on 24/7 to keep the room comfortable. I also loved joking around with the staff; they were really good-natured about it. One important thing to remember: because it’s located by Hoan Kiem Lake, the road is closed from Friday at 7:00 PM until Sunday at midnight. If you don't want to walk a distance to get to your hotel, just make sure to arrive earlier on Friday. There are so many activities to try nearby, like massages, city tour buses, or just walking around the lake. I’ll definitely recommend this place to any of my friends traveling to Hanoi in the future.

Everything was good They need a little improvement with communication. I booked a 16 seaters van pickup from airport but somehow I was misunderstanding where to meet a driver. It took too long for them to respond to my message. I have to take 2 different minivan to hotel instead. Most of the party was my mistake not familiar with the surroundings. But I wish they can be prompt to my message. Thank you
