The bartender kindly let me know this but still offered to make my drink, though he mentioned it would have to be served in a plastic cup since they were closing down. I appreciated the gesture, but what happened next really stood out. The manager, noticing our group, came over and asked if others were also planning to order. When we said yes, but assured him we understood it was closing time, he didn’t hesitate. He told the bartender to go ahead and take everyone’s orders and insisted the drinks be served in proper glassware. That small moment captured everything that makes Cantera Diez special: the attention to detail, the genuine warmth, and the willingness to go the extra mile to create a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. A really wonderful hotel in the best location on the main square! Super friendly and accommodating staff, specifically Faucitini, Fernando, and Armando but front desk, maids, bell boys were are exceptional. Complimentary breakfast was super, use of bikes was wonderful fior the Sunday morning closure of Main Street fir biking and walking etc. we loved this hotel and our master suites!

This property is right in front of the cathedral and its a great place to stay if you want to be down town historic district of Morelia. Rooms are beautiful and the hotel is beautiful, lots of things to do around the property and great Mexican dinning.

A really wonderful hotel in the best location on the main square! Super friendly and accommodating staff, specifically Faucitini, Fernando, and Armando but front desk, maids, bell boys were are exceptional. Complimentary breakfast was super, use of bikes was wonderful fior the Sunday morning closure of Main Street fir biking and walking etc. we loved this hotel and our master suites!

My Wife and I had a very nice stay. The staff took good care of us. We enjoyed Dinner on the Rooftop area and observed the Beautiful Fireworks Display at the Historic Cathedral across from the Hotel.

It was an amazing experience, the room had the best view in downtown...It was owesome to see so good the fireworks!!! The food and service, was first level, the amenities in the room so thougtful, and the best was the human quality of their staff

Nice hotel. Good location. However if you are going in the warmer months and looking to be comfortable with AC. Don't book. Rooms get too hot and AC doesn't work. We got moved to a different room and AC was working better but it had a leak and bathroom sink was clogged. Hostess are too busy on their phones to acknowledge you. This was my second time staying here. Had a better experience the first time. Will not be recommending. Only good experience was person helping us with our luggage. Attentive and helpful.

It’s a beautiful place, but there weren’t many amenities - no gym or pool. There is a rooftop but no bar or restaurant. However, they did set up coffee and pastries in the common area outside the rooms.
