It was my first time staying here. It was so quiet, the hotel is old but has SO much character and charm. My friend and i literally walked down the hall to get the BEST massages from Doreen who i highly recommend! I’ll be staying here again and again!!

What a lovely property. The woman at the front desk couldn’t have been nicer. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The bed linens are super soft and the bed is cozy. The bathtub is huge! We loved the added touch of the robes, and we loved reading about the history of the hotel. We do wish there had been some USB ports for charging extra devices. Also the internet is pretty spotty. The bath linens were a little rough. The coffee shop doesn’t open until 7:30 and there is a keurig in the room for earlier coffee but I drink tea and had no way to make hot water so I had to go out and find a place that opened early which wasn’t actually very easy to find. We loved the courtyard area. And the free parking right on the side was perfect. We will absolutely stay here again.

I liked that this property was extremely quiet at night. The hotel was accommodating with a coffee shop, lounge, and tavern all within the building. Staff was very nice and willing to help, easy to get ahold of if not at the front desk. Street parking right outside, and within walking distance to trails and the main street of town with all the shopping, convenience stores, and restaurants. Spa was wonderful and staff there was great. Room was clean and had everything we needed, and had a great mountain view.

This historic hotel is beautiful and welcoming. Love the whole feel of the place. Great bar area, coffee shop, and restaurant. The staff is wonderful. I was here for a friend’s wedding in their courtyard which was lovely. The rooms are spacious and offered a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The bed and pillows were super comfy. Internet service worked great. Location is great and quick access to Main Street. Highly recommend this quaint and beautiful town place.

The hotel was amazing - very old and with an interesting story to tell. We loved the beautiful antiques and the people who worked there were very nice. Ouray was quiet, not many people visiting so the Beaufort was very quiet. It was on the Main Street of ouray - close to everything. It was also very clean and comfortable.

The Beaumont Hotel is perfectly appointed in period detail. The staff were terrific and graciously met our every need. We stayed for two nights and slept like babies. The wifi was strong and the mini refrigerator came in handle for late night snacks. During our stay, I took advantage of the Hotel Spa and throughly enjoyed myself. I would, however, like to share two thoughts. First: Patrons and guest are required to enter the hotel lobby via a narrow vestibule using an (issued) brass room key. There is an intercom for new arrivals but even that requires the front desk personnel to physically grant entrance. I question whether this is necessary as it is cumbersome to juggle with full arms and off putting for such a quaint area. Secondly: Guest rooms, although spacious and comfortable, are dimly light making it difficult to read or work remotely. Nonetheless, I tip my hat to the new ownership and look forward to a future return. A

Hotel is a beautiful space and lovingly restored. Team was friendly and welcoming. I wish i could give it a 4.5 but only whole number options. Only negative is the rooms are waaayyy too dark. The beautiful light fixtures only offer dim lighting, which made it hard to navigate the room.

The hotel was gorgeous and the room was very spacious. Very thankful to use the property for photos for our elopement. Would say the only negative was our room did not have a fan and during the night got very warm.

This is A very old hotel the history is great but it needs updating . Ceiling fans are loose,had to raise window to stay cool because air is substandard. No breakfast provided. No restaurant with food or any amenities.

Nice location and walkable to dining, shops and springs. Voices could be heard from inside the room but not once the light were out. The adjacent coffee shop is wonderful; maybe have a few more “arrangements” for guests.

Romantic place to stay, so evocative of the late 19th century. Beautifully restored. Very nice toiletries. The bed linens are luxurious; the pillows are too soft for me. Really nice to have designated parking. Restaurants and shopping nearby. I appreciated being able to communicate with hotel staff when our arrival was significantly delayed by flight delays.

The Beaumont Hotel was BEAUTIFUL. I loved the history in each piece of furniture and unique decor. Our room was incredibly comfortable and we had an incredible view of the mountains. I can’t wait to visit again!

If only the staff were as lovely as the décor... We had a special circumstance - our trip required a change about 10 days before our scheduled stay. We had to add a night at the Beaumont. We were unable to stay in the same room for the second night - totally understandable. Unfortunately, the staff didn't do much to ease our transition from our lovely suite, on night one, to our standard room on night two. We were told that check-out was at 11:00 A.M. We had to completely pack up and drag our stuff back down to our car. They offered to let us leave luggage at the front desk - but we had a laptop, and that didn't feel very secure. When we asked when we could get into the other room, we were told that check-in is at 4:00 P.M. but they would try to get the room ready sooner... This is where I have the problem! We paid for two nights. We paid for an expensive suite on night one. Why wouldn't the hotel staff say, "We'll make sure your new room is the FIRST priority for housekeeping. You can stay in your current room until the new room is ready. Then you can move your things into the new room before you head out for your wonderful day in Ouray. Even though the second room was ready at around 1:00 P.M. we were miles away on a day-trip at that point. Not to mention, there was a wedding the night we arrived and we must've gotten the suite next to the honeymooners - YIKES what a night of noises from their room. PROS: -Suites are beautiful -Walking distance to everything in downtown

The hotel was amazing - very old and with an interesting story to tell. We loved the beautiful antiques and the people who worked there were very nice. Ouray was quiet, not many people visiting so the Beaufort was very quiet. It was on the Main Street of ouray - close to everything. It was also very clean and comfortable.

Romantic place to stay, so evocative of the late 19th century. Beautifully restored. Very nice toiletries. The bed linens are luxurious; the pillows are too soft for me. Really nice to have designated parking. Restaurants and shopping nearby. I appreciated being able to communicate with hotel staff when our arrival was significantly delayed by flight delays.

I was here for a friend’s wedding in their courtyard which was lovely. The rooms are spacious and offered a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The bed and pillows were super comfy. Internet service worked great. Location is great and quick access to Main Street. Highly recommend this quaint and beautiful town place.

What a gem they have here at the Beaumont! Service was excellent from the front desk to the lounge to the cafe, the staff were friendly and accommodating. The ambiance, the decor, everything here was delightful. The food in the lounge was enjoyable and convenient. The only things that could have made the room a little more comfortable were a full length mirror and a little more light as the drapes were very heavy and did not allow much natural light. Those things are minor, definitely not deal breakers. I would recommend this boutique hotel and stay here again!

The hotel was beautifully restored and the Dragonfly Suite was superb!! They were very knowledgeable about the history of the building which was delightful! The Roosevelt Tavern was a nice addition for breakfast the next morning!!

This is A very old hotel the history is great but it needs updating . Ceiling fans are loose,had to raise window to stay cool because air is substandard. No breakfast provided. No restaurant with food or any amenities.

This boutique hotel was exceptional and it was a pleasure to stay there. The restoration was really well done. The common areas and our room was spotless and our room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Nothing was overlooked as all room amenities were there. The 1886 cafe has great coffee, pastries and comfortable furniture. Parking was plentiful and super easy to pull in and out of. We will return.

Beautiful old historic hotel but over priced considering lack of amenities for an adult only luxury hotel. Had drainage issue in shower, and very noisy air conditioner. Very comfortable beds though with fine linens.
