I am not giving a bad review because my stay was good and I have no complaints except if you don’t mind a hotel with no elevator on a steep step to a third Floor, you are in a for a treat. When I say there is no elevator I mean an elevator does not exist in the hotel. Otherwise, the stay was great.

Le personnel aurait davantage à nettoyer plus régulièrement la piscine. Celle si est verte au alentours. De plus nous voulions nous baigner au alentours de 8:30 mais elle était en nettoyage presque 1 h par le personnel. P-e penser à la faire nettoyer avant 8:00? Les clients ne peuvent en profiter avant qu’il quitte à 10:30 pour le check-out .

Great location set on a hill near the airport, with wonderful views out to sea. The staff are fantastic, the Indian restaurant on site does great food, and it’s a small, tranquil place to spend a few days. The rooms are a little dated and relatively small, however the a/c worked very well and my room had a huge balcony with a day bed, loungers and a table to work on. Be warned that there is no lift up to reception, so you’ll be carrying bags up quite a few steps.

The staff are fantastic, the Indian restaurant on site does great food, and it’s a small, tranquil place to spend a few days. The rooms are a little dated and relatively small, however the a/c worked very well and my room had a huge balcony with a day bed, loungers and a table to work on. Be warned that there is no lift up to reception, so you’ll be carrying bags up quite a few steps.

The property has too many stairs and is not convient for persons with disability. The rooms need more sound proofing as it is loud for the most part and sleep can become restless due to the noise. There is a restaurant on property the food was good but quite expensive. The pool was undesirable as it looked like it has been properly maintained. If you're looking for an inexpensive place to chill at then i'd say try it, to each its own. Overall my experience wasnt the best.

What you have to keep in mind is that this is a small boutique hotel that's more like a bed and breakfast. Given that, it is very quiet with beautiful views of the ocean and there are plenty of places that are within walking distance. There are a lot of steps but we knew that going into it and we didn't mind. Being such a small hotel I would expect things to be a little bit better upkept. For example, none of the remotes for our TV worked, we had issues with our shower as the hot water was not consistent, they provide beach/pool towels but they were not refilled often. The self serve bar is a nice feature but it is way overpriced and definitely not worth it, $9 for a beer! The local bars are around $5-6 and if you go to a liquor store they are around $3. Overall we enjoyed our stay as it was very quiet, relaxing and the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel had a beautiful view of the ocean and was very close to the airport and in a quiet area of town. The very affluent area was about 10 minute drive away and we enjoyed many restaurants there. The water pressure in the showers was not that great and the property had hardwood floors so when people were walking around above you, it was rather loud. They had a lovely Indian restaurant on site that was delicious. For the cost, I think it was a great value and we really enjoyed the staff. They were willing to bend over backwards to help with anything we needed. I highly recommend booking a rental car in advance and picking it up at the airport so that you can explore the island. This property is not really near much that you can walk to.

Check in was great. Room AC was not turned on before arrival, like an oven. When showering, towels discovered to be try rotted and tearing. Pillows very old and flat. Have stayed here before, same room was great so very surprised. Also booked suite, only got a single king bed room. Was not what was booked

It was an older building, some quirks like shower was difficult to figure out. Kept turning from warm to cold during the shower. But overall great for a one night stay near the airport. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. We didn’t eat there although I like that there was an option. Travelers rest was walking distance and by the water so we went there. Breakfast was included, lenders bagels and croissants, yogurt, fresh fruit, nothing fancy. Would use again if I needed one night.

The property is on the less touristy side of the island so it’s great if you’re looking for a more secluded vacation. The pros are that it’s pretty affordable, very close to the airport and there’s some good local restaurants. The staff are also very kind and professional. My only complaints would be the water in the shower constantly changes from hot to cold and the water pressure from low to high. I also noticed the room would get pretty hot despite having AC on or windows open. However I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay, but make sure you rent a car or be prepared to spend a fortune on taxis!

The hotel is beautiful and the food at the restaurant is delicious. Unfortunately, our room smelled of mold, which made it hard to sleep. We did not have a rental car, and at one point I walked to a nearby café which turned out to be closed. On the way there, I was nervous because there’s no sidewalk and so cars zip right next to you. On the way back, I decided to walk back along the beach to avoid the cars, but wound up coming across a crazy guy on the beach with his hand down his pants, who started following me. I ran for my life and at the door to the hotel I’d stupidly forgotten my key and they took their sweet time buzzing me in and didn’t ask why I was screaming “help,” but nevermind. I never leave bad reviews but felt compelled to share this experience. If staying here it’s better to have a rental car or take a taxi. The beach nearby is not safe and not a place you could swim anyways as it’s all volcanic rock with a little bit of sand. The view from the terrace is spectacular, though.

I did not like the fact that i left South Florida and planned to stay in my room and leave ONLY to eat. Unfortunately i had no wifi and no tv for the entire duration of my visit which was very,very disappointing to me. I had to call at&t and purchase an international roaming package in order to use my phone. The selection of food for dinner was Indian food only which is quite ridiculous,because as a matter of fact there were no Indian guests staying at the B&B. Folks like myself who didn't rent a car and didn't plan to...would have appreciated the opportunity to purchase lunch and dinner providing it's not the same thing everyday,pay a chef to prepare meals and make you guests feel comfortable and not have to worry about going out for meals. If you're running a B&B arrangements should be made to have a variety of foods available and owing to the fact that the B&B is perched on top of a hill management should make sure the wifi and basics like the tv cable service is up and running. It was my birthday the next day after i arrived and i was not happy at all. Its a quiet and beautiful location but improvements need to be made to match the price of those rooms. Management promised to credit the cost of one night and pay my taxi fare back to the airport which they did...but i would have been happier if i had just the basic necessities in order to enjoy my stay while i was a guest. AGAIN....improvements really do need to be made to match the cost of those rooms per night.

A stones throw was good enough for our two night stay. The view is epic but the place leaves a lot to be desired. Tons of stairs to walk up to get to the hotel and more to your room. Rooms are small and are not very clean but where not so dirty that we wouldn’t stay there again.

View of the hotel and view from the hotel is beautiful and amazing. There's a slight breeze most days which is perfect for sitting outside. Also, the hotel is located away from the busy part of the island, which is what we wanted. Offsite restaurants were close and the beach was even closer. The onsite restaurant served delicious food too if you didn't want to go out. We had a relaxing stay in our ocean view room. There's a minor downside. Also, the hotel is located away from the busy part of the island, which is what we wanted. Offsite restaurants were close and the beach was even closer. The onsite restaurant served delicious food too if you didn't want to go out. We had a relaxing stay in our ocean view room. There's a minor downside. What you have to keep in mind is that this is a small boutique hotel that's more like a bed and breakfast. Given that, it is very quiet with beautiful views of the ocean and there are plenty of places that are within walking distance. There are a lot of steps but we knew that going into it and we didn't mind. Being such a small hotel I would expect things to be a little bit better upkept. For example, none of the remotes for our TV worked, we had issues with our shower as the hot water was not consistent, they provide beach/pool towels but they were not refilled often. The self serve bar is a nice feature but it is way overpriced and definitely not worth it, $9 for a beer! The local bars are around $5-6 and if you go to a liquor store they are around $3. Overall we enjoyed our stay as it was very quiet, relaxing and the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

The plus: It's a very cute bed and breakfast, an old house with a lot of charm and a wonderful view of the sea. The food for dinner (Indian cuisine) is excellent. Staff is really nice and helpful The less fun part: there is absolutely no insonorisation. You will ear everything. Our door opened alone when there was people moving around. The bed was way too soft. There is not much to see around, we try to go for a walk, but there is no walkway by the beach, and the streets behind are not that welcoming. It's ok for a night before or after a flight, but another guest who planned to stay for the week was looking for something else.

Beautiful hotel for the money. The view of the ocean was amazing and the room was what you dream on when thinking about an island vacation. This was only an overnight for us after chartering a sailboat for 10 days but we were very pleased with the choice. The only downside is the walk to nearby restaurants is dangerous. There are no sidewalks and in some places no room on the roadside to allow cars to pass. No fault of the hotel, we could’ve called a taxi but it was only a short distance from the hotel.

We just stayed overnight to catch our flight back to the west coast of US (we stayed a week in the outer islands). Very cute boutique place - definitely low key and nice as we didn’t want to stay in a big resort and wanted to be close to the airport. Everyone was super nice and helpful especially the manager Marcie who let us check in early. You will definitely need to taxi or drive since there are no actual sidewalks - restaurants are walkable however it’s very sketchy since it’s along the street with no real sidewalk so it was a nail bitter as parts of the road had no shoulder at all. We definitely took a cab home after dinner. The airport trip was so fast like 7 minutes.

If you’re looking to get out of the hustle and bustle of downtown Nassau - it’s a great location to stay. The pool is small but enough to cool off in a hot day. The view from the top patio is awesome! The staff is great! We had an issue with the AC (it was dripping inside the room) and it was solved within 15 minutes. Love beach is close, but you cannot walk, as there are no sidewalks - so either rent a car or walk to the bus stop under the hotel, and it’ll take you there in 5 minutes.

Attendant could not process our credit card - had her and the company on the phone for 45 minutes - no problem with my card, or my wife's, but the hotel could not process it. Paid cash. Showed us to our room - up another flight of stairs. Sleep at the airport, save USD. Go elsewhere

Beautiful Hotel with spectacular views! Close to the airport and graciois staff. Private secluded beach a short walk down the hill . Buses also a short walk into town for the touristy area only $4 roundtrip. Restaurants are close by , Solemar was excellent.

Beautiful property with Ocean views high on a hilltop which reminded me of the Amalfi coast . Their is a bus stop at the bottom of the hill -bay street which will take you into downtown Nassau for shopping takes about 1/2 hr on the bus. There were 2 restaurants in walking distance of the hotel and private beaches in walking distance but again if you want to be in the commercial area with a lot of other tourists the bus ride is fairly quick. The hotel gardens and pool are beautiful, the hotel and staff where amazing and a view unlike anything else in the Bahamas.

Great location set on a hill near the airport, with wonderful views out to sea. The staff are fantastic, the Indian restaurant on site does great food, and it’s a small, tranquil place to spend a few days. The rooms are a little dated and relatively small, however the a/c worked very well and my room had a huge balcony with a day bed, loungers and a table to work on. Be warned that there is no lift up to reception, so you’ll be carrying bags up quite a few steps.

It was a $100 taxi to downtown and back, so I woundn’t recommend staying here if they is your plan. But for airport ($10 minutes) and this part of the island, it’s great.

This hotel had a beautiful view of the ocean and was very close to the airport and in a quiet area of town. The very affluent area was about 10 minute drive away and we enjoyed many restaurants there. The water pressure in the showers was not that great and the property had hardwood floors so when people were walking around above you, it was rather loud. They had a lovely Indian restaurant on site that was delicious. For the cost, I think it was a great value and we really enjoyed the staff. They were willing to bend over backwards to help with anything we needed. I highly recommend booking a rental car in advance and picking it up at the airport so that you can explore the island. This property is not really near much that you can walk to.

Overnighting here for an Out Island flight. Very close to NAS. Lovely oceanfront setting. Staff are most helpful and accomodating. Pleasantly surprised that we were able to get a delicious Indian food dinner on the terrace -- most tasty and reasonably priced. Rooms are fairly basic but clean and comfortable. Will stay here again.

The bed was comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. We didn’t eat there although I like that there was an option. Travelers rest was walking distance and by the water so we went there. Breakfast was included, lenders bagels and croissants, yogurt, fresh fruit, nothing fancy. Would use again if I needed one night.

The property has too many stairs and is not convient for persons with disability. The rooms need more sound proofing as it is loud for the most part and sleep can become restless due to the noise. There is a restaurant on property the food was good but quite expensive. The pool was undesirable as it looked like it has been properly maintained. If you're looking for an inexpensive place to chill at then i'd say try it, to each its own. Overall my experience wasnt the best.

This is a wonderful character hotel. We love the large deck overlooking the ocean. The back garden area is also lovely. We enjoy the "honor bar" and appreciate the trust of the establishment. We have yet to try the hotel restaurant as our stay hasn't coincided with their hours of operation. The breakfast was adequate.

Chris and Shania helped me plan my proposal to my girlfriend and it could not have gone any better! Treasure was very sweet and helped me with everything I asked for. I had a really bad headache one day and Juan gave me some of his Ibuprofen to help. Marcie was also a great help with getting us a taxi late at night and giving us information about where to go. There was another woman there who helped clean and I wasn’t able to get her name but she was the sweetest and made sure we were okay. The cooks are amazing and the Indian food was the best we’ve ever had! The building is so beautiful and they are always around tending to it and are always around to help you whenever you need it. This is the best place on the island to stay if your in the Nassau.

Really helpful staff. Great free coffee. Little water in room. Great A/C and comfy bed. Big minus was pool being out of action, not told and we planned on using that for a day. Also quite far from town center but handy for airport.
