This resort was really great and exceeded our expectations. The layout of the whole place was very beautiful and relaxing. We were extremely happy that we were able to see orange utan right in front of our rooms in the resort on the rambutan tree. Overall it was a great place & staff and food really good

Very tired resort that needs some investment. Nothing terrible, but nothing great, other than the location. Pool water was not clear, and only about 9 sun beds for the whole place.

ok... trying to give a balanced view here. The location was superb, and we walked to Sepilok Orangutan sanctuary twice, easily, in 5 mins, and had amazing experiences. Wonderful memories. loved that. The hotel itself. Once upon a time it was probably very flash. nowadays it needs some love and maintenance. The choices for dinner in the restaurant were very limited (but the food we ordered tasted good), and the breakfast was very ordinary. The pool area needs some maintenance and I did not put my ears in the water even though it was 30+ degrees. gross scum marks at the waterline. Just looked disgusting. The gym is a joke. We booked because it had one. Unfortunately every machine is broken, there is no air con, and the toilet and changing area are filthy. Unusable. We booked a basic room, so didn't expect miracles, but did expect air conditioning. sorry no., You need to upgrade for that at double the price! it still wasn't that cold, but was still worth the upgrade.
