We had a nice stay but we were not aware of the pool closure during winter months and was not informed at check in.Found out the hard way with three kids dressed in there swimmers after a 4 hour drive with a sign on the pool door informing of the closure. We felt we were a bit mislead.

Parking was a huge issue as a number of large tow vehicles and trailers took up multiple available spaces . A function on upper level like a wedding or similar was very loud on Saturday night and at 1:30am the Smoke alarm system went off for 20 mins with atleast 10 PA announcements asking for the night cleaner to report to the front desk . After 10 mins of it going off I rang the front desk after seeing no one in the hall. to ask if we needed to evacuate - then the announcements started

I stayed there due to it having a gym but was disappointed by the gym and equipment. I don’t understand why Rydges do not have room mini bars anymore makes for great inconvenience.

Unhappy that there was no lift access to get to room which meant that luggage had to be carried up and down 2 flights of fire stairs with bad back and knee problems. Ceiling in shower was too low. 6ft husband was hitting his head on ceiling and had to bend over to wash hair. No rails to support climbing into and out of raised bath/shower. Booked buffet breakfast, when arrived at restaurant was told there was no buffet (even though it was prebooked) and was told food was being plated in kitchen and served to table. Food came out cold and in varying quantities that we could not select. Room was neat, clean and well appointed.

We found an bag from a previous guest in the room, the body wash dispenser was empty, there was mould around the glass shower screen, vanity legs had the front base plates dislodged, and there was a chunk missing out of one of tiles on the feature wall in the bathroom.

We have stayed here before many times and a great location but room was poor compared to other times . Water was constantly running in toilet , there were no towels when we got there and room was not as clean as normal . When towels did arrive after we rang reception they came to us dirty already . Not sure what is happening to hotel but has changed some what in a bad way .

Although the location was great, and exciting for our kids as it is right on the Mount Panorama race track, we were disappointed with our stay. Unfortunately our room felt unhygienic due to multiple reasons. The cutlery and glassware appeared unclean and placed back into the cupboards, so I needed to wash everything before use. One glass had been placed back into the cupboard with a big crack down it, so clearly this wasnt checked. The bathroom had the most putrid sewerage smell coming from the drains and toilet and it that made us feel sick for the entire stay. Because the bathroom is open to the bedroom, it made the entire apartment smell and unpleasant to be in. However, the worst part was opening our children's made up sofa bed to find a doona that should have never been used. The doona was covered in blood stains and big yellow bodily fluid stains. See photos. This is absolutely unacceptable and we were disgusted and extremely concerned that the cleaning staff felt it ok to use when they made up the bed. I went down to reception to speak to staff about this and the young boy just said "Oh yes that is pathetic" and brushed me off. I also told him about the smell and he said he would send cleaning staff up to change bedding and put something in the drain. At 2pm, staff finally came to our room and changed the bedding, yet couldn't fix the smell.

Had to wait 15min for receptionist to come to reception and check us in. Having 1 staff member on duty in the whole hotel on a Saturday night at 9.30 is unacceptable for a supposed 4 Star hotel. We requested a room with 2 beds, instead we had a room with 1 bed and a sofa bed, which would have been ok, except no linen whatsoever was provided. The bathroom was simply disgusting, no other way to put it. Mould build up everywhere.

Overall, the property was okay. The surface around the bench top was very dusty and stained. Dirty dishes were loaded in the dishwasher and needed to be cleaned properly. Unable to heat and cook anything. A dirty tray with leftover food was left in corridors for over 12 hours, and no one bothered to pick it up.

It’s a great place in an amazing area but we dropped our phone behind the bed and the dirt and muck build up was unsightly. Shower has not been cleaned properly in a long while. The people who work there were amazing and very helpful but I think the Rydges is due for an upgrade or a spring clean.

We loved that it was right on Mount Panorama, as we had an event on there. The room is not soundproof as advertised, there was a party going on above us till 4:00am being very noisy. The hotel could provide a few extra basics, such as bath salts to use in the spa bath, also the spa bath jets aren’t heating ones, so you need to keep adding hot water. As we had a room with a kitchen, some cleaning spray & scourers would have helped but the biggest complaint would be that there is no Netflix, Stan or not even google chrome provided, in this day and age this should be an essential for a hotel!

Great location but unfortunately the room we had was in need of some basic maintenance. Sliding door to Bathroom so far out of adjustment wouldn’t slide, shower mixer cover plate coming away from wall, noisy ventilation and uncomfortable bed.

Was greeted by a happy very polite young lady who provided room upgrade after seeing our luggage, on all occasions staff were very polite and friendly. The room and the veranda were both very clean comfortable and very spacious. Great staying track and we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in this area, very good value for money and enjoyed.

Our room was well presented with good amenities. Unfortunately we needed relocate to another room due to the presence of a very noisy cricket. The only real disappointment was when we ate in house at the restaurant where we had to wait for more than an hour for our meals.

Don't really have anything positive to say about this experience, it started with a nearly 3 hour delay to check in, reception was grubby, rooms weren't much better, we had ordered a king & single room, got a king and an unmade sofa bed, had to ask twice for it to be made up. Food was seriously overpriced and not great, my starter arrived after my main meal, the garlic bread was good the best experience for Rydge's at Bathurst was the check out as we got to leave.

This was our second stay at this accommodation. After checking in, I was informed that we would be in room108. I didn’t realize that I had to use the stairs to go down one floor! I had luggages and other things to carry. The front team should have asked if I was okay to go down stairs with the luggages.

Great location away from town. A car is necessary. Breakfast was good and plentiful. We were there in a slow period, so we had no problem with elevator waiting times or breakfast seating.

Rooms are a bit dated. Perfect if you are there for a Track Day at My Panorama, otherwise a long way to town. No room service breakfast or quick breakfast, only full buffet in the Dining Room .

Stayed 1 night. Great view of the track. Big rooms. Shower over bath with slippery surface. Great kitchenette with glasses, cutlery etc. Thursday night didn’t eat at restaurant as realised no one eating and everyone looking at the kitchen. Buffet breakfast Friday morning, arrived at 8.30 and was told they’d decided to close at 9 because weren’t very busy. Food was great that we quickly ate after waiting for hot food that wasn’t in buffet while watching families being turned away?? Then got a bit of a shock at checkout that 1 hot and 1 continental breakfast was $48.

Very clean throughout the room and property generally. My room had a fantastic view of the track and tye famous Mount Panorama sign (as a race fan this was very impressive!) Restaurant on site was a good option and has a lot of variety to suit most with friendly, helpful staff. I'm already mentally preparing my next stay here 😎

Our room was well presented with good amenities. Unfortunately we needed relocate to another room due to the presence of a very noisy cricket. The only real disappointment was when we ate in house at the restaurant where we had to wait for more than an hour for our meals.

We booked this because we wanted to go round the circuit but a big plus was it had a restaurant on site only it didn’t ! When we arrived they said that it was closed on both the nights we were staying there ! I really think they should have told us about this as we had driven a long way and didn’t want the hassle of having to go and find something.

Dinner was not up to rushed standard got wagyu steak and was not cooked evenly and was extremely chewy and left most of it on plate and staff just looked at it and took it away did not even ask why we didn’t eat it

Choice of meals was limited and expensive although the quality of food available was good. No table covers, serve yourself plates and cutlery for both breakfast and dinner. Wine was limited and relatively expensive. All drinks were collected from the bar. There was no lunch service available and extremely limited Mini Bar from Reception. Accomodation was good but food facilities were a real bissapointment.

Accommodation on Conrod Straight was pretty awesome, however, restaurant was very disappointing. Entree Salt and Pepper squid was totally unedible, so salty, we were offered a free dessert in return, but did not accept. Main we ordered seasoned vegetable with a steak and lamb shank meal. The meals were ok but the vegetable didn't arrive, we were once again offered free dessert, but who would have been willing to make a third attempt. Expensive meal for what we actually ate. Had to walk down fire stairs to get to our room as the elevator did not service this area, the stairwell was not very clean at all. Our room was quite nice but light in the bathroom was terrible if you wanted to do makeup at all.

Rydges looked better on the exterior than the interior. Excellent location next to the Mt Panorama race track. View of the surrounding is also great. Inside is spacious, however the furnishings etc felt a bit tired. The mattress is a bit too soft and wish it's a walk in shower instead of shower over bath. Sink a bit high to reach. Soundproofing is a bit lacking. Ok for a 1 night stay while exploring Bathurst.

It's a beautiful hotel and the staff are mazing, we was upgraded and our room was beautiful. We have about 10 or more rooms booked for November and I've been telling everyone and showing them the pictures I have, and the girls on the the check in and out was amazing

We had someone go into our room and take our lunches out of the fridge while we were out, even though we had the green sign on our door not requesting room cleaning. Spoke to Management who stated no one should have gone into the room. After a lot of discussions and informed that head office had been contacted. Management stated that would be in contact with hotel.com and arrange a full refund for the night and a free breakfast. Apparently being followed up on Monday 3/8/26

Trying to contact the hotel the week before was non existence as no one answering the phone. However on our first night stay I had a fall in the bathtub, cracking the bath and injuring my knee. Chole was wonderful and I can't thank her enough. Great location and highly recommend.
