Pool wasn’t operable , everything else was good

The hotel staff was great, room was comfortable. The main issue was that the pool was closed. If you advertise you have an indoor pool, it should be open or there should be a discount on the room since amenities advertised are not available.

Nice large rooms. Perfect for my work trip as my company is located walking distance to the hotel. Would be nice if they had a shuttle to the Towne Center as they do not have a restaurant. They have the train stop really close to the hotel - I have not used it but very convenient

I called they said the pool was working that was the reason i choose that location then once I got there it was out of service

It was a very nice hotel except was shown to have a pool and a hot tub pool was very nice but there is no hot tub so shouldn't be advertising one and was one of the reasons I decided to stay at this hotel

My husband was having major surgery. I booked this place because it says it has a pool…my husband can’t get his eyes wet for 4 weeks. He wanted to swim the night before his operation. When we went to get in the pool, there was a sign on the door to the pool. Nothing posted anywhere else that says pool is broken. I asked how long it’s been broken for 5 months. When I emailed Marriott, they gave us the equivalent of $8 refund. I’m so disappointed. The surgery went great but he has another surgery in 2 weeks….we need to stay at a hotel but i think we will try a Hilton this time.

Property allowed dogs.

Staff was wonderful. There should be designated rooms for pets. Had we known all rooms were pet friendly we never would have booked due to allergies to pet dander

Three things that were not up to Marriott standards. They never brought new hand towels. I found that odd. They never took out the trash. The TV remote didn't work -- and I tried two.

Check in was great. Room appeared to simply be "wiped down" not cleaned... found candy on the floor, shower had hair, BR counter and miror not "clean" just like a quick wipe down...not sanitized clean. Ran out of coffee in the AM. It was average, not awful but not excellent.

We had to get new sheets because there were small blood stains when we went to go to bed. The fact that my husband had to go down and get them instead of them offering bringing them up wasn't ideal. Mike was great. From check in to a mid stay check out recheck in so we could stay in the same room he was super helpful. We were definitely disappointed that the pool was not open even though when we checked the website it said it was. We were able to snag breakfast a few minutes late one day when we had an early soccer game and got back to the hotel just as they were getting ready to close and appreciated them letting us do that. Overall a great stay. Wouldn't not stay again due to minor inconveniences We faced. We would definitely use them again if we had to stay in the area.

Missing an alarm clock, hand soap and shower gel. I asked about each twice with no solution. I expect more from Marriott.

Room was really spacious and well laid out. I wish I had know about this hotel, it is far superior to others I have stayed at in the area.

The suite was amazing had a full kitchen and lots of space. The bed was comfy and everything was perfect 👌

The Residence Inn in Hunt Valley is our reliable go-to hotel for when we visit our family who live in the area. It has a convenient location, a spacious room that can accommodate 4 and has a small, well equipped kitchenette, per the usual Residence Inn’s clever lay-out. Staff are friendly and the communal space in the lobby is welcoming and lends itself to large gatherings of family or friends, with lots of nooks for smaller private parties. There’s also a nice patio space with tables and seating.

Great room layout

It was a quiet 1 bedroom though the refrigerator was loud but could easily close the bedroom door. The wall paper in the bedroom could be better. It was curling up in various places. We stayed in room 616. The lighting in the main area could use soft white light bulbs or the ability to have a dimmer to not have it as bright.

The room was very clean. I loved the kitchen and living room area. The bed was comfortable and the staff was great.

Renee was amazing. Room was fabulous. Very quiet.

A staff member assisted me in extending my check out time and she was great. Efficient and knowledgeable about the process. I would definitely stay there again!

Ok stay. Tub wasn’t draining properly. Asked staff for assistance, no one ever addressed. Pool is closed until second week of July. Disappointing that it wasn’t mentioned in listing.

Every employee we came into contact with at the hotel was very courteous and helpful. The front desk staff was very accommodating and met all of our needs without hesitation.

Stayed for a few days over Christmas and things were outstanding. Of note, an employee, Renee, was incredible. It was evident that she places pride in her work and workplace. The interactions she had with us were bright and friendly. She was dressed up on Christmas Day in festive garb, and she really set our holiday off on the right foot. Working on Christmas I’d imagine some employees just phone it in, wishing they were at home and off work enjoying themselves, and understandably so, but Renee was a bright spot and the effort she put in that morning was very very appreciated. She shared her holiday cheer. We will specifically return to this Marriott Residence Inn because of her. Thank you Renee!

I was pretty annoyed that they had sold out of the room that I had reserved for 2 months in advanced. When I checked in the lady said I could get a refund and there was no more rooms left even though mine was paid for. It was terrible you should be able to have that room reserved if you already paid for it.

The property overall was fine, but could use a refresh on the rooms as they are getting a little long eared and worn. The biggest disappointment was the breakfasts, which was great on Day 1, but got progressively more limited each day of my stay

Room was clean and spacious. We stopped here on a pinch and it was better than expected. My son enjoyed the breakfast. I would go here again if I had to.
