Alter Pub an der High Street mit allem was dazu gehört: kleines Zimmer, winziges Bad, laute Wasserversorgung, niedrige Türen und schiefe Böden. Aber: Kleiderschrank und Kommode, Stauraum für den Koffer, Parkmöglichkeiten, super Frühstücksoptionen, gutes Essen am Abend und absolut herzliche Gastgeber. In Summe sehr empfehlenswert, zB auch als Zwischenstopp vor oder nach der An-/Abreise.

Great value, superb breakfast and the staff were so engaging and helpful. Quirky rooms , but with lovely wash stuff and other extras.

When I checked in and went to the room, the room door was left ajar and there was a soiled mass of toilet paper in the toilet.

Ideal single room for the solo traveller. Comfy bed, clean room and bathroom. The bathroom was small and the shower is snug which may not be ideal for a larger guest but well stocked wirh shampoo, shower gel etc. Some noise can be heard from outside and downstairs etc but no more than any other place I have stayed in really. On both this and my previous stay I have been in rooms on the road side so it would be nice to see what it is like on the other side away from the road as you can hear the cars going by. Toilet flush is noisy as it is a macerator system but i knew this from my last stay and it didnt seem as bad as the twin room I stayed in before. Nicely decorated character building with friendly staff and good food. I preferred this single room than the twin room my partner and I stayed in before.

Lovely breakfast and comfortable room. We’ll be back next year!
