Myrtlewood Condos

Good location. Large 1bedroom unit. Great layout Very clean. Carpet and Furniture in living room a little dated but clean and comfortable. TV is small. Only one chair(plastic) on the balcony and it was broken. The screen was difficult to open. Water pressure in the bathroom was low but adequate. Appliances were dated but clean. Grounds and buildings were impeccable. Despite a few shortcomings we would stay here again

The apartment size and kitchen facilities were excellent. It was a shame that the carpet was dirty and the front desk didn’t provide what we needed to be able to use the pool.

My family I enjoyed our stay two adults and three kids . Not far from the beach it’s not walking distance though . The staff was nice in the office . We didn’t like that the outdoor pool closed early at 9 and the indoor pool closed at 5 we wished it was later so after dinner we can go to the indoor pool area that’s designed for little kids . Made us upset . Our room only had one blanket on the king size bed the twins size beds just had sheets we were glad we brought our blankets pillows . A few things where broken but over all best place we have stayed in Myrtle .

When we first checked in, the unit we were initially assigned had a broken window. I called the office they responded promptly, and also moved us to another unit. The second unit was amazing and aesthetically pleasing compared to the first. The only negative really was that the pool water was ice cold, ace the outdoor pool closest to the unit we were in was not in service. We otherwise enjoyed our stay.

Villa was nice. Floor needed to be cleaned a little better. Beds were very comfortable. Indoor pool closed at 5 so we never made either there. Outdoor pools required a key card. First night we couldn't get ours to work. Second night someone had an accident in the pool and we couldn't swim.

This place was amazing!!!!!! Stayed for a week, it was very quite, SPACIOUS!!! The only thing that was wrong was our pool was not available......But! The staff have us different passes with no hesitation. Sometimes the security was annoying about the pool ( before we got new passes) but he was doing his job. Shoit out to security for patrolling the area, and keeping things in tact.

Our room was unsanitary: smashed bugs on the wall, toilet had been left clogged with feces, chairs had stains, porch was full of cobwebs and bugs, sheets were stained and had animal hair, dishes/cups dirty, stains on the sheets in pullout, and the carpet had cat food and trash. Walking to the pool is trash and two pairs of underwear. Broken: Pull out bed did not work, TV did not work, plugs sparked when used. In the gym, neither cardio machine worked. Other: Called about toilet and told it is not an emergency. It was snaked and dirty water stains left on the floor. -sent an email and did not hear anything. Went to the office after 24 hours and told I should have come to the office sooner because the manager I emailed was on vacation which was the person I emailed with on Saturday, so Sunday must have been the start of her vacation. I was told by Deborah Witman that the second toilet and pullout are extras for a one bedroom, so not emergencies. If I paid $700 for what was listed, it is an emergency. I was given $93 back for unsanitary conditions, pet hair that caused allergic reactions and a need for medication, a pullout that could not be used, remotes that did not work, and extra expenses for cleaning products. Sent The girls at the front desk was friendly and kind. She was easy to talk with, but treated poorly by Deborah Witman. While working with a customer. Roach infested. Complained 3 different times to front desk. They gave us a bottle of roach spray. We left a day early because of roaches in our beds. No internet...complained every day to front desk to no avail.

I was disappointed. We have stayed plenty of times but this time the roaches was horrible. The room was nice it was clean but we keep killing roaches. You wake up and see a roach crawling across the wall. It was to the point we left. I informed the office staff no refund or take one night off.

Book a room with a king bed and 2 twins beds but rooms was 2 twin beds. When you enter the property it had a stink smell, the mattress was old and tear up and the house needs renovating and cleaning because it's mold in some areas and needs to be repaired.

Bugs/old furniture/blood on the carpet, just an old groomly look to it all. 5 mins after checking in, i checked out? Now im battling them for my refund the PROMISED. Now the employee that said i was getting a full refund, they're denying even works for them. Better off staying at Motel 6, at least the keep the light on for you.

Property was in a good location and outside was well kept. The unit was nice but the carpet was dirty and. Bathrooms needed a good cleaning.

In the room for 2 minutes before my 9 yr old daughter found a squished cockroach above the bed. Upon inspection we found other dead and alive cockroaches. They also did not give us the beds we requested, as a family of 6 it's a necessity. We called hotels.com, who we booked through, they made multiple call attempts to the office with no answers. We were able to get placed in another hotel but we lost a whole evening of our trip on the phone. Myrtlewood was terrible customer service AND tried charging us a night.

we had roaches in our room. They gave our money back because roaches was crawling all of the walls. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

It was a quiet stay. Very nice people at registration. The place wasn't bad. Needs cleaned a lot better. Needs things fixed. Master shower barely gets warm because fixture is on wrong. The bathroom lock is broken. Shower curtain in master bathroom has mold on it. Light switches and walls are so gross. Our comforter was filty. Water was brown when washing in washer. I washed all bedding and all towels, wash clothes. Etc. I wiped down light switches, kitchen counters, kitchen table, night stands, etc. Someone needs to fire housekeeping. Also beds are not comfortable. Time to update this place.

I liked how the pool area wasn’t crowded. I didn’t like the noise from the family above us running and making noise until 2 am.

I stayed in 4673 Wildiris Apt 102! It is run down… the unit could be so much better if they just do some minor upgrades!! First of all the rug under the dining room table was filthy, the door to the washing machine was broken and just leaning against the wall, the bed that was supposed to be king size was two twin put together! The toilet and sinks are very low, we were unable to look at tv the entire weekend besides one channel in the living room. I think it’s sad for the money that you pay to stay in these places they could upgrade every now and then! New comforters, sheets, A KING SIZE MATTRESS, and rugs

DO NOT BOOK HERE! Booked a two twin, two double room. They gave us two twins and a king that split. Was told they could not change our room but would come and split the kings which they never did. None of the 3 TVs worked the entire time and they said they would give us $20 for that inconvenience. The blinds in the living room with the “sleeper” sofa, which was impossible to sleep on by the way, were half missing so no privacy AT ALL. They left an open can of paint in the bedroom which my great niece could have gotten into if we didn’t catch it. When we asked for a refund we were told “we don’t give refunds”. So essentially give them your money and too bad what you get!

We stayed in a unit privately owned and had no Wi-Fi even though it was advertised. It’s up to the owner to meet the requirements of the suite and they did not. They should have checks to make sure each owner is making property requirements for Myrtlewood. Raneesha from the front office was very kind and helped us as best she could but there was nothing they could do. We also had many troubles with our door locks and maintenance had to come to our room 3 separate times to fix the lock. We got locked out of our room for over an hour waiting to be let in. The maintenance men were very kind and helpful and were able to fix the problem each time. Would have been a better stay if equipment was up to date and the private owner met requirements.

It was very beautiful out there and well maintained!.. We loved the spacious rooms and comfort. We will definitely be back!❤️

We loved it, however noticed a few things. There was no spare toilet paoer, the king bed was actually two twin beds pushed together and one sink was misding the drain plug. Small things are noticed.

All units are individually owned so I am sure the condition varies widely.

The property has been well kept, the grounds are beautiful and clean. The front desk was very helpful and responsive in a timely manner to all my emails.

Very rude and unprofessional staff. They (Matt) should go to training on how to deal with people and customer service. I have never had to deal with anyone like him ever.

We checked in on a Wednesday afternoon and arrived about 15 or 20 minutes before check-in and had no issues fetting slightly early. Staff was quick and friendly. We stayed in a 3 bedroom condo that had an awesome view of the lake from the back door. It is a mixed property so there are permanent owners on site but all were friendly. The indoor pool was hit with my kids and we eneded up spending hours there on day 2 of our vacation. There were plenty of dishes and everything was clean. The only issue we had was the dryer took a long time to dry. Property was well maintained and the condo was lovely and spacious. We will definatly look there first on any other trips to the area.

Just a no. Checking in to the property took almost three hours. Started off with they couldn’t find my reservation and then sent me on my way and didn’t bother trying to help. Once found after hours they said the room was not clean yet. So had to wait longer. Mind you check in started at 4. We didn’t get into the room until 7. Once we got into the room the cleaners were still in there cleaning it! They told us to wait outside. So had to take my kids outside and wait longer after they suffered a long car ride. The only good thing about this place was the pool. You get the bare minimum inside the rooms. Room was falling apart. Sink didn’t drain. Shower door was broken. They gave you two trash bags for the whole week. No hot water. Also I guess they were working on a room upstairs and was hammering and playing loud music all night until 3am. Will definitely choose another place next visit.

For the price I paid, the cleanliness and customer service was aweful. This short stay was too expensive for the experience we had. The staff at the front office is extremely rude and have no patience. They rarely answer the phone and when they do they talk over you and are of no help. We never received our pool keys and had to go back to the office and the keys they gave us were not the correct ones. In order to use the tread mill you have to request a key from the front office to turn it on, but they fail to tell you any of this during check in. The check in process is LONG AND SLOW!!! No Internet. The fridge was dirty. The bottom of our feet turned black if we walked bare foot. This place needs renovations and new management. I suggest staying somewhere else!

Horrible. Run from this place. I booked 1 night for my employee. There was no place to park the 26 foot moving truck. HOA rules. The office offered a parking spot 3 foot ball fields away. My employee had to go in and out for food, materials etc, making it extremely inconvenient. The office manager stated to call Expedia and cancel the reservation for a refund. I called Expedia and they called the supervisor to which she refused refund. I then looked up the reviews to this place on Google and realized what a dump it really it. Expedias reviews do not reflect the REAL reviews. The property charge is more than the rental. I rent hotels weekly for my moving crew. I am a Platinum member. Trust me, when I say RUN.

Great central location for our golf trip. Spacious 2 bedroom unit for two people, lots of room to spread out, handy full kitchen although if you are planning on doing lots of meal prep the kitchen only contained the barest of necessities. Worked ok for us as we only did breakfasts and golf snacks with dinner out but would have needed extra supplies if we were doing lots of cooking

Love the area and proximity to a lot of the attractions. Our unit had a few issues with cleanliness, and a faulty slider curtain rod, but overall would recommend

The condo itself was a little run down but the facilities that were on the property were really nice. It was are first experience with renting a condo and it was overall a good one. It was close to pretty much everything we wanted to do so that was really convenient.

I went with my family. We felt as though we were right at home. The location is superb. We were within 5 mile radius of every place wanted to visit. I am definitely coming back again!
