What a fab hotel, third time stay in as many Months, shame other establishments couldn't follow them. Excellent for parking, quietness, rooms and staff all fab

This is not our first stay at Hogarths Solihull. The staff cannot do enough for the guests, the whole hotel including the extensive grounds are spotlessly clean & well tended. The public areas are bright, airy & charming & for a hotel it really does have a welcoming & homely feel. The dining options are plentiful, well cooked & totally delicious. I have one negative comment & it’s not a major one but the room decor could do with a refresh, the rooms are spotless, cleaned daily & anything that you need to be replenished can either be obtained from housekeeping or via reception. I wasn’t expecting to have a huge chip out of the washbasin in the en suite room as the rest of the hotel is maintained meticulously & who knows maybe the chip had only occurred the day before we arrived. Overall a strong 9/10 for us. The 10/10 I would happily give if the chip in the bathroom was rectified & the bedrooms were given a lick of paint.

Lovely stay at Hogarths, service was very attentive, food was superb and we enjoyed walking around the grounds. The room was very spacious, newly renovated and comfortable.

We were there attending a wedding. We also booked a room to stay over. The hotel and facilities were absolutely fantastic. Thankyou for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful hotel set in fantastic gardens. We had a very pleasant stay.

Unfriendly and impersonal reception gave a very poor start to our stay. There was a corporate event underway also, the bar and terrace were heaving so we elected for room service meals. They took 40 minutes and had to be chased up but were delicious when they arrived. No EV charging on site. It wasn't the best stay but I'd probably give it another chance if desperate.

Had an overnight stay with my sister and her dog at Hogarths Hotel. The hotel was easily accessible from the motorway. It was beautiful, the room was comfortable and clean. The staff were helpful, the dinner and breakfast were very good and the hotel was dog friendly.

This was my second stay this year (first trip was in June in the new part). At first glance, the room looked good and bigger than my previous stay (this time I was in the room called Winter) and had a lovely sofa and separate armchair, plus dual aspect windows. However, the pleasant feeling quickly disappeared when the Nespresso machine (which is hidden under the TV in a cabinet) hadn't been replenished with new pods. The bowl was empty. I went to look at the in-room tablet, as I had used it the last time I stayed, and it wasnt working. On trying to turn it on I realised the battery was dead despite it sitting on the charging dock. So i tried the charger in a different plug to the left of the desk and it still didnt work, so then i tried a completely different 2-plug socket and it started charging - so the other plug socket obviously is faulty. I sat on the bed and saw the "tell us how we did card" - i went to fill it in and found that it was the one left behind by the previous guests in the room. They had been in the December room but asked to be moved due to an event, however, they still werent happy in Winter based on the feedbakc they left. I gave it to the woman on check out this morning, explaining that it was left by the previous guests but she didnt seem to understand that I wasnt happy and that the room was obviously not turned over properly, so I just left. It was my second stay and I was hoping to see some improvements but it wasn't good...

Bang average, stayed in better Premier Inns. My chalet smelt of sewage, was cold and lots of flying insects! Food was decent, £20 for a wagu burger but service wasnt the best.

Good food options for us even though my wife is vegetarian but eats fish, more than 3 nights might mean we repeat our selection, but excellent quality. Room presents nicely, absolutely spotlessly clean. Staff are all friendly. This was our second visit.

Honestly, i stay at this place wgenever I can for work as it is just a wonderful place. Food, rooms, staff, cleanliness are all as close to perfect as one can get.

The property is smart looking internally, but i chose an upgraded room and my ground floor view was of the car park, laundry carts and a stair way that is being worked on. The rooms are a little noicy but i have experienced worse.

Not great sleep. Bed very soft and room overlooked by diners below and other rooms, had to keep curtains pulled. Also Room 201 was above the lift which was still being used into the early hours. Not good sleep. We were there with other family for a funeral wake of a family member and stayed over.

Everything was very well kept and everything I look for in a hotel. Only problem was the sleep. 2 single mattresses put together, mattress and quilt were not comfortable. And loud fans all night which I could not turn off. Room 202

Make sure you DO NOT book with them if they have an event on ie Wedding. We stayed two nights in an Executive Room (patio doors lead on to main garden and close proximity to bar and terrace). Music from bar goes on til about 10.30 but the noise from the weddings is horrendous and went on til midnight. Very limited sleep both nights and even if you move rooms you are still going to hear everything due to the layout of the rooms. Usual banging when anyone goes in and out of their hotel rooms. Food and Staff were wonderful but you can get that at a pub - what you want from a HOTEL is a good nights sleep and we most certainly did not get that. Complaint asking for full refund underway.

Very cold room, tried to turn the heating up but didn’t work. Was asked to pay on departure but had paid on arrival. Took too long to sort out had to leave and was late for a business meeting. Not very well organised. Shame really as it’s a nice hotel. Staff very helpful.

Service was slow at breakfast & the food didn’t match the price tag. If you’re used to quality hotels in London I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. I fed back the noise complaints via email during the night and in person to two members of staff at checkout and was met with a response that no one had ever complained about noise, the rooms are checked for sound proofing and a general manager would be in touch. I requested a refund and this was not provided. Room 103 was not fit for purpose. Avoid.

Room was hige but got guite cold and heating was limited to when the hotel decided it should be on.. no stats in ylthe room itself. Restaurnat was a fair walk away.

My second stay at Hogarth’s was less enjoyable than my first. Staff seem generally unhappy and not as welcoming as previous visit. Restaurant service was slow and on occasion I had to give up waiting. I will try again as it’s a good location with a calm ambience and I suspect I caught the staff on a bad day

We have stayed many times at Hogarths and each time have been welcomed by very friendly staff. Food is excellent.

Have stayed here multiple times but felt let down by the service in the restaurant in the evening. Dining alone, I just want to eat and go, got seated and then was left for 25 minutes. Eventually had to flag down a member of staff who didn't appear to care. Food was ok, but staff need to be a bit more attentive. Key card failed in the morning and despite reception trying to reprogram the card , had to wait 44 minutes to get back in my room whilst waiting for maintenance. This put me way behind schedule for the day before

Hotel is in a beautiful location with lots of free parking on site. The room was cosy, comfortable and clean. Unfortunately we felt like the staff at check-in would rather not be there, we had a brief description on how to reach our room but no other hotel facilities were brought to our attention, we had an unexpected hold charge put on our debit card, although this was refunded straight away when we checked out, We would stay here again.

Could find very little to fault with our stay at Hogarths. The staff are all delightful and service is very good. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished. Will definitely want go return there.

Great hotel for the price. It is about a mile and half from center of Dorridge. Food was good and it was in a nice country setting.

Absolutely beautiful property.. peaceful & great as it is near the riding stables, and for walking. Lovely staff.

A great quiet hotel

Nice rooms, a little on the small side. Some staff members rude on reception. Breakfast service slow to refill buffet items.

We were somewhat disappointed to find that the Brasserie stopped serving at 9pm on a Saturday night. Having travelled all day and arrived at 8.30, this was not what we expected from the hotel.

We had a wonderful one night stay. We stayed in a family room as we had our 7yr old grandson with us. On arrival the reception staff were lovely and we were very impressed with our room. The sofa bed was plenty big enough and very comfortable for our grandson. We ate in the hotel in the evening and the food was amazing. All the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We had a peaceful night's sleep and a delicious breakfast before checking out. All in all a lovely hotel which we would definitely return to.

Great Hotel , terrific standard Was staying on a 2 night business trip . Only gripe restaurant menu , bar menu Bit limited and small portions . You have to order extra veg on the set menu which seemed good value

It was a delightful stay, the hotel was lovely, the staff were very welcoming and both the dinner and breakfast was delicious. I will continue to use this hotel when working in the area.
