The room was clean and comfortable and quiet. We didn’t come to gamble but just walking through the lobby you were hit with the smell of smoke and heavy scent to try to cover the smell of smoke. That just made everything feel unclean.

We booked a two day stay in a non smoking deluxe king room in the blue tower. The blue tower is apparently not maintained. The carpet in the hallways is extremely worn as is the carpet in the rooms, and it doesn’t matter that we booked non smoking the entire place reeks of smoke, it hits you as you’re walking up to the building. Our room hadn’t been vacuumed, I dropped a Kleenex on the floor picked it up and it had black hair stuck on it. The sink had mold in the over flow drain hole, the counter tops had dirt in the corners, the bathroom door handles were sticky and hadn’t been cleaned, the old p-tac hvac unit rattled and was full of mold, the toilet handle had to be held down to get it to flush, the exhaust vent above the shower was full of mold, mold was on the shower walls, you also have to crank the shower handle pretty hard past the off position to stop the water from running when you were done. Also a few of the electrical outlets didn’t work. Needless to say we checked out early and didn’t stay the second night. Apparently, if you want a room in better condition you need to book a preferred room in the spa tower, but nobody tells you that, you would assume a deluxe room would be deluxe. However, the staff was great, the Lakeside restaurant is good, and the slots seemed to great RTP.
