New, clean & the staff was friendly. We enjoyed our stay & would definitely go back. It is close to the beach & walking distance to town.

The Bad and the Good...Only two complaints: the Febreze smell was overpowering and they should switch cleaning products and you can hear everything like people going up and down the stairs at all hours wearing cloggs, boots and spurs! The Marilyn Suite is very nice with its own private balcony with views of the ocean and Webb St. balcony/street life. The bed is firm, not too comfy but ok for a few nights and it was a Queen and we usually do King. It was just a little noisy for us and we picked OG vs. AP so it would be quieter. The staff were awesome. One worker carried our suitcase up the stairs and Renee brought our breakfast up when I couldn't carry it myself as my hands were full. Overall, a great stay. Breakfast was homemade and coffee was good!

I would be nice if we could control the temperature in the room. It was kept really cold and I wanted to open the window to warm up the room a little. but since there were no screens on the windows,

The Merilyn Suite, room 2, has a gorgeous balcony and you can see the ocean a block and a half away. The sofa bed is in a separate room with its own half-bath, so kids can be kept away from parents. The suite has no self-control thermostat and was freezing that night. There are no outlets next to the bed, so even the lamps on the nightstands are just for show.
