Room was renovated apart from bathroom. Very clean. For a dog friendly room which are usually the worst of the property, the room was lovely. Reception staff were welcoming and very helpful. It’s not the motel’s fault but people were chatting outside up until around 2am. They were permanent or semi permanent guests and didn’t give two hoots for anyone. The hotel should consider moving smoking areas a long way from guests as that is where they meet up. There was traffic noise but it wasn’t bad and expected. Reception staff were the highlight, oh and the great Thai restaurant next door.

The manager is so friendly and helpful. Breakfast of cereal and toast is included in the price and I had a pet friendly room. The tariff cost an extra $20 for my dog. The bed was amazing. Soooo comfortable.

The motel overall was ok, facilities were at the minimum , Selfe serve being the order of the day, breakfast provided ! wait until the office opened (8.00am) help yourself to cereal etc. , guess it is to be expected in todays world. The traffic noise , the big problem yes on the highway, but the trucks all night ! Car parking, (park anywhere ?). Unit was clean, bed comfortable. if had to would stay again... so ....

Was very convenient location. Very clean and of high standard for a pet friendly motel, Compared to other accommodation we have used. Would stay there again.

The property has new owners, and they are slowly making improvements. It was a great little spot, and the customer service was A, but the outdated facilities and lack of a kitchenette or a collective cooking area were drawbacks. I look forward to seeing the improvements the new owners have made again.

Room was very clean. There were 2 people smoking and drinking outside our room from early am and they stayed there and were joined by other people in the evening. Very noisy and we felt unsafe due to the level of intoxication. We had to walk past these people to get to the stairs. Almost everybody at this motel smokes and it was too much for a non smoking family. Price was good and getting breakfast made things easy.

The complex itself is a dump. Ground floor room, only block out curtains. No privacy blinds so if you want natural light, everyone who walks right past your room can see right in. Lots of people smoking, drinking and talking outside our room for hours. Inside, NO toilet paper even though it had 2 roll dispensers. They were both empty. No milk provided for the coffee or tea. Half the powerpoints dont work. Fridge door inside broken so couldn't stand a soft drink bottle up. No top sheet on bed. Just a prickly wooden blanket. Pillow was like a rock. Old and run down. Cobwebs in the bathroom. Just a disgusting property. Find somewhere else to stay.

The office staff were very friendly. The room was exceptionally clean, the housekeepers do an amazing job. The price was very reasonable, and free breakfast was a bonus. Apart from the traffic noise which is expected being on a main road, the place and service is great.

Was very disappointing. Continental breakfast was only cereal and bread. Bathroom smelt horrible and shower had mould and soap scum. Fridge isn't what pictures show was a tiny bar fridge just as well I took an esky. Toaster and kettle packed away in cupboard and the tea coffee and biscuits not enough for 3 people no spare blankets for if you get cold (thankfully my daughter had her own) upon check-in guy very friendly and nice but room wasn't ready we had to wait in car for 25 minutes then walk on wet tiles. The room looked nothing like photos on wotif. If travelling and not needing Fridge with freezer space then its ok for sleeping overnight beds were comfortable but they slide on floor when you get up and down off the bed. Only 1 chair provided for 4 people. Overall 2 star rating for cleanliness and convenience. 4 star for guy who checked us in and out. He was polite friendly and apologetic. Continental breakfast isn't Continental it's literally just cereal and bread for travellers who are travelling far that's definitely a disappointment.

We will never stay here again. The room was very unkept. It was a pet friendly room. There looked to be a faeces stain on the floor. It hadn’t been cleaned very well. Bits of alfoil (which we didn’t bring). Human hair which was not ours. Some stuck to shower room door. The sink had paint stuck to it and stains. The laminate was stained and lifting ( looking like water damage). There was a tile missing from the shower. One of the windows had been smashed prior to our arrival. There were bits of metal screwed to the walls. Rusted. The fridge cavity was falling apart. The free breakfast was small sachets of cereal which we did not use. The single bed seemed to have a somewhat broken base. When sitting on the bed, it sagged down so close to the ground. Two adults so we shared the queen bed. Sheets wrapped either side of the blanket, after seeing the rest of the room, I was quite concerned about the cleanliness of the blanket. Lucky we had blankets in the car. Loud neighbours next door. Difficult to walk past the table and chairs on the walkway when carrying a bag. The railings to walk upstairs have not been cleaned in a very long time, I am guessing. The one interaction we had with a staff member was pleasant. Then I was advised there would be no power from 8 am - 3 pm. This would have been nice to know when booking. It does not look like the photos. No mirrors at all.

This place is not fit to be on hotels.com For $163 a night it’s a disgrace, mould and broken soap holder, leaking shower head (that kept me awake all night), no shampoo, conditioner or body wash, toilet brush was full of wet toilet paper and so worn out, the bed was so uncomfortable, curtains need replacement and didn’t cover the windows so outdoor light was beaming in at night, the cutlery was from a 2nd hand shop and had broken handles, the 2 chairs were stained and had a broken window in the bathroom . The place was so run down and a disgrace. I had 2 x nights booked for work purposes and left after 1 x night. I have pics to prove all this.

Our beds rolled all around the room when we were in them the bathroom was mouldy and slippery no shower caps the tea, sugar and coffee packets was covered in cockroach poo and there was a chair in our room that my daughter sat on and she fell through it and ended up with a gash on her back from the screws that scratched her when we investigated the seat was snapped in half and not screwed in I left a note for housekeeping.

Location and price are probably the only good things about this place. Entered the room on the first day and found crumbs all over the bed and bedside table as well as part of a plastic wrapper. Not sure if it was just my room, which was 20, or if other rooms are the same but I was woken up multiple times through the night by loud tapping noises in the roof, as well as the sound of water rushing through pipes above me. The hot water system can't keep up with multiple showers at once, I constantly had to adjust between scalding hot and cold every time. The aircon isn't big enough for the room, barely does the job. The walls are quite thin, I spent most of the Thursday night trying to block out the late night conversations happening in the room next to me with a pillow. The whole place just needs an update in general. I did have a future booking as I am travelling to Rockhampton for work again next week but I have cancelled to go elsewhere.

Served the purpose for a quick overnight stop, but the room is in desperate need of maintenance and repair. Cupboards, lamps, and doors were broken or damaged, and the chairs need a good clean. Shower gel provided in a dispenser, but no washers and no hand towel provided. Bed was comfortable and clean. Staff at reception was friendly and helpful. Easy checkin and checkout process. Convenient location.

Rooms starting from $79 the sign outside says. I booked online and paid over $100 but got the budget room. Smashed, cracked bathroom window. Paper thin walls, can hear every car passing by and all the guests unloading & loading. Upstairs a guest scraped hotel furniture across the floor every time they moved around. Could hear their footsteps all night long. Didn't feel safe here. Will not stay here again.

Great check in. However we had a early get up, in between travelling, so needed a good nights sleep. It was me, my partner and my 5 year old. The people in the room next to us was super loud all night up until 12am. Constantly slamming door, in and out and dogs barking. Loud voices. No respect. Was super hard to sleep and very disappointing. We had to get up at 3am. The TV reception cord was snapped off so we couldn't use the TV either.

This was a last mintue booking as we needed dog friendly accommodation for our stay. Upon checkin staff were a little abrupt towards us. Room was a little run down.

Not good when your room is not serviced daily. I had to ask for clean towels and toilet paper constantly. Very disappointing, as the noise from the road was so loud, very hard to sleep. The motel is old and needs renovations, which I understand but no one should have to ask for their bed to be made, clean towels daily or toilet paper. The tea/coffee/2pkts of individual biscuits were never replaced. And never had a glasses/mugs replaced. We had to wash everything in boiled water from kettle. This is just unacceptable.

Easy access, clean but old and dated. Lots of dogs staying. Neighbours noisy slamming door.

Walls are that thin you can hear the person in the next room. Road noise as well. Room had paint peeling off the walls, On a good note, they welcome dogs.

Staff member who welcomef us 10min before closing time was very friendly and helpful. The room was disappointing as tv did not work properly on any channel. It kept freezing after a few minutes so we gave up on that. I decidedto read my book instead, just to find that both bedside lamps were missing bulbs. Alsono batteries in the a/c control and no spare blanket. Free breakfast was a bonus but the overall experience not good and would not stay again or recommend to friends

Good bed and great little Thai takeaway next door in the other hotel. This hotel supplies breakfast (as long as you collect it yourself before 7pm or you don’t get milk or breakfast). It’s supposed to be pet friendly but it’s hard to get a pet friendly room when booking via an app.
