Wir haben uns drei Nächte im Hotel aufgehalten mit dem Hintergrund, im angrenzenden Aquabasilea zu entspannen plus Basel zu besuchen. Das Hotel ist zwar teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber die ausgesprochen freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Mitarbeiter/Innen lassen problemlos darüber hinweg sehen! Das Frühstück war top, die Lage optimal. Im Preis inbegriffen sind auch die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel, so ist man mit dem Zug in 10 Minuten am Basler Hauptbahnhof. Das Aquabasilea ist auch sehr empfehlenswert, da es für alle Altersgruppen und Ansprüche geeignete Angebote hat (Spassbad, Entspannung, Erholung im Hamam, Poolbar :-)). Wir werden das Hotel auf jeden Fall wieder besuchen, es gab bis auf den Parkplatz / Parkhaus absolut nichts auszusetzen! (fällt in die Filterkriterien) und vor Ort stellt sich dann heraus, dass man gerne für 35 Franken in die im gleichen Gebäude sich befindende Sauna, Schwimmlandschaft kann. Für Hotelgäste nicht inklusive. Hier muss unbedingt nachgearbeitet werden und eindeutig deklarieren, dass es aufpreispflichtig ist. Sehr frustrierend wenn es sich vor Ort erst herausstellt.

Pay attention to fees: original fee was 250 €/night, we ended paying 450€/night. The hotel is described as pet friendly and with internal pool. Hotel ist OK. Unklar ist die Nutzung der Wellness-Anlage. In der Hotelbeschreibung ist dies angepriessen. Vorort wird erklärt es kostet pro Tag 35 CHF. Dies wurde nicht während der Buchung angegeben. Nach langer (unnötiger) Diskussion, durfte ich trotzdem das Bad benutzen- Freude ist allerdings getrübt, wenn man dafür diskutieren muss. Das Personal begrüsst einen zum Frühstück nicht, für Besteck muss man selber sorgen.

Très bon séjour en famille pour découvrir Bâle. La gare de train pour Bâle est situé à 10 minutes à pied pour rejoindre le centre de Bâle en 10 minutes. Les seuls parking disponibles sont tous payant et il vaut mieux passer par l'hôtel car légèrement moins cher. Les chambres sont spacieuses et moderne. La literie est très bonne mais les coussins sont un peu petit à mon goût. Un parc aquatique jouxte l'hôtel pour un excellent moment de détente en famille. Le restaurant est bon et heureusement car pas d'autres options dans l'environnement proche à part un fast food à environ 10-15 minutes à pied.

Great staff who are always happy to help. The hotel is clean and tidy, the team responsible for cleaning do a great job. The restaurant has a limited menu but the food is really good. I have stayed here a couple of times now, and will again in the future should I need to be in this area for business again.

Meget venlig og hjælpsom velkomst ved check-in. Fint og rent hotel. Det lå lidt uden for bymidten men meget nemt at tage toget ind til centrum, og perfekt placering når man som os kun var på gennemrejse og skulle videre næste dag og samtidigt nemt kunne nå at se lidt af Basel.
Meget venlig og hjælpsom velkomst ved check-in. Fint og rent hotel. Det lå lidt uden for bymidten men meget nemt at tage toget ind til centrum, og perfekt placering når man som os kun var på gennemrejse og skulle videre næste dag og samtidigt nemt kunne nå at se lidt af Basel.

Chambre propre mais fenêtre scellée, impossible d'aérer. Heureusement nous ne sommes pas claustrophobes. Par conséquent les odeurs restent, et la salle de bain a des remontées d'égouts. Lunettes de wc avec des traces brunes dans les recoins, pas rassurant. Pas de sac hygiénique mis à disposition non plus.

Frühstück sehr gut und völlig ausreichend. Alles soweit TOP. Sauber und gute Lage.Das Baselland Ticket ist eine tolle Sache. Unser besonderer Dank geht an Heiko von der Rezeption und Samira vom Service, exzellente Arbeitsausführung, stets freundlich und hervorragende Arbeit. Ein negativer, ärgerlicher Punkt - die Rufnummer auf der generierten Hotelbestätigung führt in eine Endloswarteschleife - so konnte ich das Hotel nicht frühzeitig erreichen. —> Diese Rufnummer +41 61 821 59 07 . ( Auswahl Deutsch/Sonstige ).

We have stayed at this hotel on at least 4 occasions. It is very convenient for our journey to Italy being very close to the A2. The rooms are comfortable and quiet and the staff are very helpful.

Chambre propre mais fenêtre scellée, impossible d'aérer. Heureusement nous ne sommes pas claustrophobes. Par conséquent les odeurs restent, et la salle de bain a des remontées d'égouts. Lunettes de wc avec des traces brunes dans les recoins, pas rassurant. Pas de sac hygiénique mis à disposition non plus.

Très bon séjour en famille pour découvrir Bâle. La gare de train pour Bâle est situé à 10 minutes à pied pour rejoindre le centre de Bâle en 10 minutes. Les seuls parking disponibles sont tous payant et il vaut mieux passer par l'hôtel car légèrement moins cher. Les chambres sont spacieuses et moderne. La literie est très bonne mais les coussins sont un peu petit à mon goût. Un parc aquatique jouxte l'hôtel pour un excellent moment de détente en famille. Le restaurant est bon et heureusement car pas d'autres options dans l'environnement proche à part un fast food à environ 10-15 minutes à pied.

In Kombination mit dem Aquabasilea ein hervorragender Standort. Gutes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal, bis auf den Check-in. Dieser war ein Farce. Wenn der offizielle Check-in 14:00h ist und wir um 12:30h anreisen, kann man mir entweder sagen, dass ich bis 14:00h warten muss oder man checked mich ein, weil das Hotel nicht voll ist. Mir aber zusagen, "bitte nehmen Sie 15-20min Platz, ich muss zuerst ihre Reservation suchen" und nach 30min sitzen wir immer noch da, ist ein schlechter Service. Wir kommen nicht, um zu warten, ohne genau zu wissen, wie lange!

Hotel ist OK. Unklar ist die Nutzung der Wellness-Anlage. In der Hotelbeschreibung ist dies angepriessen. Vorort wird erklärt es kostet pro Tag 35 CHF. Dies wurde nicht während der Buchung angegeben. Nach langer (unnötiger) Diskussion, durfte ich trotzdem das Bad benutzen- Freude ist allerdings getrübt, wenn man dafür diskutieren muss. Das Personal begrüsst einen zum Frühstück nicht, für Besteck muss man selber sorgen.

I accidentally booked a hotel in the wrong city. Ok I know it was non-refundable but I was coming from another country and got the location wrong. Hotel.com were very helpful and tried to be flexible but the hotel would not….they wouldn’t refund. Such lack of flexibility is sad. I notified them well in advance so they could have rebooked the room.

Wir haben uns drei Nächte im Hotel aufgehalten mit dem Hintergrund, im angrenzenden Aquabasilea zu entspannen plus Basel zu besuchen. Das Hotel ist zwar teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber die ausgesprochen freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Mitarbeiter/Innen lassen problemlos darüber hinweg sehen! Das Frühstück war top, die Lage optimal. Im Preis inbegriffen sind auch die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel, so ist man mit dem Zug in 10 Minuten am Basler Hauptbahnhof. Das Aquabasilea ist auch sehr empfehlenswert, da es für alle Altersgruppen und Ansprüche geeignete Angebote hat (Spassbad, Entspannung, Erholung im Hamam, Poolbar :-)). Wir werden das Hotel auf jeden Fall wieder besuchen, es gab bis auf den Parkplatz / Parkhaus absolut nichts auszusetzen! Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und zweckmässig eingerichtet, schallisolierte Fenster, sehr grosse und gemütliche Betten. Aber der Parkplatz, welcher auch bei einem mehrtägigen Aufenthalt mit Fr. 24.- pro Nacht verrechnet wird, erschien uns schon extrem teuer.

A very nice hotel, however if ambition to elevate, breakfast was expected to open 06:30, bur was late opening. Early breakfast and vacuuming beside was not that nice having breakfast, could have been done prior.

Great staff who are always happy to help. The hotel is clean and tidy, the team responsible for cleaning do a great job. The restaurant has a limited menu but the food is really good. I have stayed here a couple of times now, and will again in the future should I need to be in this area for business again.

Lovely hotel, clean, helpful staff on the outskirts of Basel. We stayed here as it was next to the waterpark which we used and if you book through reception you do get a discount on your booking. The Basel Card is a amazing if you plan to visit the centre of Basel with regular trains and trams to the city centre from Prattln, although the station is 10 minutes walk away. I believe it would help greatly if there were menu's to both the restaurant and bar. We didn't use either as we didn't know what was in offer. Please be aware they do charge your card when checking in, which is refunded at the end of your trip....however this should also be made clearer when the initial booking is made. Switzerland is expensive and this messed up budgeting I had in mind.

Staying in the summer is a nightmare, the air conditioning in the room was not working properly, I complained to the front desk and they changed me to another room only to encounter the same problem, the mini fridge located in the room did not cool either, sweaty nights are not fun, I have to get a fan to at least have air circulation in my room, very disappointing stay at this hotel
