Super clean, walkable to a cute town, good coffee starting at 4am, free one way shuttle! And a 24 hour bar! Woohoo! Perfect hotel airport!

Nice airport hotel! The bar and food was good! Our bar tender was very friendly! We booked the hotel shuttle to take us to the airport in the morning! It was affordable at 10 CHF a person! The driver dropped us at arrivals, instead of departures though, as he was picking up other people, that was a little annoying, but not a huge deal!

Stay was okay and rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is acceptable. The main problem was the parking situation. There was road construction happening and that meant parking at the hotel over the road. First of all, what the staff at the Holiday Inn told me to do was not what the staff at the other hotel expected – so this left me running around and inconvenienced. Second due to the construction one had to walk around the roads about 1km + to drop the car off and then the next day alone this route with luggage – this is totally unacceptable. No forward notice about this situation and no way I could have found an alternative. Poor management overall.

Great modern room for the money, but it takes longer to get there from the airport than you would think. The airport shuttle signs are not readily apparent and we walked around in the terminal for about 20 minutes before we found someone who knew where they were. The shuttle was late and made two other stops first and the Holiday Inn was last. All told, we lost about one hour getting from the airport to the hotel. You might do better spending more and staying right in the airport at the Hyatt or other hotel.

Property was close to the airport for a convenient overnight arriving and departing. Airport shuttle. However it seemed costly. But, again, convenient.

The property was very convenient. One bit of feedback — the website is not clear that the shuttle FROM the airport to the hotel is free or where to pick up the shuttle. I wrote asking about this but never received a response. As a result, I paid for a taxi from the airport, which was expensive. I wish I could have avoided this cost.

Leider sehr schlecht gereinigtes Hotel. In unserem Zimmer waren noch viele Chips Krümel und Haare überall verstreut. Rezeption total überfordert und eine Nachreinigung war wirklich nicht überzeugend. In den Gängen waren die Teppichböden ebenfalls nicht wirklich sauber. Ich bezweifele dass es überhaupt ein QM System in dem Haus gibt.

A small bit efficient room, quiet and clean everything you need for a restful night. And if you’re stuck here overnight, you can journey into Zürich with an eight minute walk to the nearby Metro train Breakfast was nice.

Practically no storage space for clothes in rooms

Unfortunately our stay coincided with an extreme heatwave and the hotel’s air conditioning system was not able to function properly. Our room was around 26 C at 4 pm when we checked in and did not cool with the air conditioning turned up to maximum. The ac problem was apparent throughout the hotel including the lobby. I would like to recognize the two employees who went above and beyond to make us more comfortable. The young man at the front desk came up to our room and measured the temperature coming out of the duct and confirmed that there was a problem. His coworker brought a fan up to our room. It was unfortunate that the air conditioning wasn’t working but the employees did their best and demonstrated heartfelt concern for their customers. This was the only hotel we stayed at in Switzerland that offered a complimentary breakfast with the room rate (everywhere else charged 20 Francs or more). There was a good food selection and of course strong European coffee! Outdoor seating is available. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to and from the airport. It is within walking distance of Ruemlang station so if you want to take a train into downtown Zurich you do not need to return to the Flughafen. This hotel is a decent option for travelers needing a room near the airport. Under normal weather conditions we probably would not have had any complaints.

Good hotel, suffering through a heat wave that the a/c had difficulty handling. Perhaps a European infrastructure constraint, but given how much we paid for the room we’d hoped to have a room below 77 degrees.

The hotel is perfect for a quick one day stay , clean bathroom and room ,, small Shower tiny twin bed but clean , good one night stay

This is by far the best Holiday Inn Express that we stayed during our travel in Germany and Switzerland. Only complain we have was the bathroom drain seems to be clogged, water drained very slow. Aside from that, everything is excellent. I wish all Holiday Inn Express is as spacious as this one. We are definitely comeback here if given the chance to visit Switzerland again.

Great location near the airport to catch an early morning flight. The shuttle service was super convenient. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a bit small for a family of 3 and luggages. Overall its great hotel to stay for the night before or after a flight.

Long delay to get checked in

We had a great time from check in to check out It was close and convenient to get to the airport. We had an issue hooking up our apple box. Called the front desk for help, they sent up maintenance. Marcin Gasiorowski came in under two minutes, had the issue fixed in no time. He was wonderful! We will be back for sure

the staff is unprofessional

The staff was on top of it. We unexpectedly had a day to kill in Zurich and the staff set us in the right direction on how best to utilize our time. I would absolutely stay here again.

Nous sommes arrivés à minuit avec une réservation confirmée et payée, mais on nous a appris qu’il n’y avait plus de chambre disponible à cause d’un surbooking. Il a fallu attendre jusqu’à 2h du matin pour finalement avoir une chambre. Cette attente, en pleine nuit, après un long voyage, est inacceptable. Il semblait qu’une fête du personnel avait lieu ce soir-là, ce qui a sans doute contribué au manque de réactivité et à la désorganisation. Heureusement, la chambre attribuée était propre, mais cela ne compense pas la mauvaise gestion de notre arrivée. Nous ne reviendrons pas et ne recommanderons pas cet hôtel. A ce jour pas d'excuse ni remboursement. Inacceptable pour un hotel à presque 200€ la nuit.

Breakfast was better than I thought it was going to be. The check in staff were amazing! Gave us tips on how to get to places in Zurich and made sure we understood how to get back to the hotel as well.

The woman who checked us in presented as very negative and seemed bothered to have to prpvide customer service? She initially gave us a room on thr 1st floor and when I requested a room on a higher floor she said they were fully booked. I had many questions on this and she magically found us a room on a higher floor. She seemed annoyed by this.

The staff here were consistently all excellent. We loved walkable access to train to downtown Zurich. Room was spacious, comfortable and great bedding and towels. We would stay here again. Appreciated the shuttle service to and from airport also.

Very convenient, close to airport and walking distance to train station with frequent train service into Zurich. Not a very interesting area, but this is to be expected so close to the airport.

This property is 1 mile from the airport as the crow flies but it’s a 20 to 30 minute train ride. I was a woman alone. Got there late at night. It’s an industrial area that’s creepy and isolated and I was not happy. The table in my room was dirty. The rest of it was clean. The staff was proficient if not, particularly nice.

Easy train ride from the Airport and then walk for about 8 minutes, not much around it. Hotels and warehouses. airplane noise is normal being so close to the airport. Hotel was super crowded and busy. Room was typical Holliday inn express, breakfast was good.

Reception Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was not ready when we arrived in the morning; but we were able to leave our luggages at the reception while we spent the day exploring the city. They gave us a very helpful step by step guide on how to take the train to the HB station and return to the hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel. It is also very close to the airport and walking distance to stores, including McDonalds

チューリッヒ中心部のホテルは料金高めですが、空港周辺なら少し安く泊まれるので日本から到着後３泊しました。空港からシャトルバスが30分に１便ほど出ており予約なしで利用できて便利でした。また国鉄の最寄駅まで徒歩５分くらいで、チューリッヒ中央駅まで行く電車は頻繁に走っており、所要時間15分くらいなのでこれも便利でした。

The location was great. Close to the airport but also close to public transportation. There are grocery stores just minutes away but there wasn't a refrigerator in the room so you are limited to what you can buy. Staff were very nice and didn't mind my North American need for ice. All I had to do was ask.

Nice short stay before departing home. Only issue was the poor breakfast selection.

Good for a night before/after a flight. The shuttle (10 CHF) was convenient. Breakfast (free) was quite good for a hotel buffet breakfast. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Rooms are small but functional. Staff was attentive and helpful. The restaurant was decent, which is convenient as there were limited food options in walking distance. There are 2 grocery stores within a 5 min walk, though. Overall, a comfortable stay that met my expectations. Would stay here again if flying out of ZRH.

Bed was a bit too firm, no hair conditioner in the shower, limited selection at breakfast. Aside from that, great stay. Very clean, nice large rooms and very convenient in that bar/restaurant is open 24 hours and breakfast is served from 4:00am. Check-in was efficient, friendly and fast.

We left with hotel shuttle at 5 am. They had express breakfast from 4 AM to 6 AM for people like us leaving for the airport early morning. That was a good benefit. Room was newly remodeled and nice.

The room was basic. Both rooms (on different floors) had showers and sinks that wouldn't drain, making it gross to use. The breakfast was inedible. They did offer a shuttle to the airport.

ホテル選びをする上で、市内へのアクセスを気にする方もいるかもしれませんが、チューリッヒ中央駅へのアクセスも問題ありません。 駅まで5分ちょっと。電車に乗れば15分なので、時刻表に合わせて動けば30分内には市内に出れます。 朝食については0400-とありますが、恐らく0400-0600はシンプルな内容で、0600-1000には温かいメニューも含めた内容になっていたと思います。ご参考に！ 近くにはマクドナルドやサブウェイ、スーパーもあります。

Breakfast was a swarming teem of people all trying to eat at once thanks to multiple tour buses all leaving at the same time. Also the shuttle to the airport was overbooked and we had to pay for this service, which should be free!

The food in the restaurant was excellent. Great breakfast buffet!
