Comfort Inn & Suites Post Falls - Coeur dAlene West

Here’s a polished version that keeps the details clear and firm: We arrived at the Comfort Inn around 11:45 p.m. after a very long day of flying and were extremely disappointed with the condition of our room. As soon as we walked in, the room smelled strongly of sweat and it was obvious that it had not been properly cleaned. The sheets had body hair on them and what appeared to be dried mucus/boogers. It was absolutely disgusting and made us question the cleanliness of the entire room. At nearly midnight, we were exhausted and didn’t have many options. Thankfully, the front desk staff was willing to move us to another room. However, after seeing the condition of the first room, it was difficult to feel completely comfortable or confident about how thoroughly the rooms at this hotel are being cleaned. We checked out the following day rather than completing our stay. What was most disappointing was that the hotel did not offer to refund us for that night. Instead, we were offered a discount because we had technically “used the facility.” The reality is that we only stayed because it was nearly midnight and we had nowhere else to go at that hour. Had we arrived earlier, we absolutely would have left immediately. I appreciate that the staff helped us change rooms, but a guest should never be given a room in that condition in the first place. This experience was extremely unsettling and disappointing 😞

The staff was very professional. Check in was extremely good,,, the rooms are always clean and a above average breakfast bar. I would recommend Comfort Inn to anyone traveling to the Post Falls area.

The hotel is clean, comfortable, and in a nice location. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we really enjoyed the free breakfast. The only issue was that there is only one elevator, and it is not located in the building where we were staying, which was a little inconvenient. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Comfort Inn & Suites and would definitely recommend it to our friends and family. We would be happy to stay here again!

It was nice and clean the only problem I had was when I lifted the toilet seat there were skid marks in the bowl because someone didn't clean it. It made me wonder what else they didn't clean?

The room was clean. We had some trouble with the tv, and the staff was quick to help. Breakfast was the regular hotel hot breakfast and cereal spread. If you’re looking for something luxurious or fancy, this isn’t the place to stay. But if you’re just wanting a clean place to sleep and a free breakfast, this fits the bill.
