Birnam Hotel

A very historic hotel recently refurbished for tourist trade. Clean and spacious bedroom with large en-suite well supplied with handles and anti-slip mat. Very comfortable double bed and also single in room with plenty room to spare. Pretty side view over gardens towards River Tay and hills. Excellent friendly service at reception and breakfast and they were quite happy to let me use wi-fi in lounge area after technical check-out time. Would definitely recommend for those on a budget and older travellers who will appreciate the magnificent building. And very handy for the station.

Okay hotel. Nice and clean

Property was nice with aging character. Very comfortable and near the train station. Several nature sights that were walkable and also Dunkeld nearby. Helpful and friendly staff.

The hotel was a bit dated but that didn't detract from our stay. Staff were friendly, breakfast was excellent, plenty of hot water for a bath.
