This is not 4* by any means. The room was tired, fill holes on the wall, and many marks, stain on carpet and shelves were loose, which was concerning given one held the kettle. There is no reception which is not always a problem, so communication is over Whatspp. The curtain isn't big enough so street light easily came in, the walls are paper thin, as I could hear the person next door snoring and their mobile vibrate / call throughout the night. When I raised a complaint the next day, no one responded, when I chased up still nothing, so I finally called several days later and was informed they were busy. Take the money and ignore the customer.. Sounds like they knew about the shelving, so unsure why this was not fixed already along with the poor paint work. I was informed in the call, they felt if they refunded me or provided a discount I would not give a good review anyway - who does business like that. Isn't it about good customer service first and foremost. I wasn't even going to leave a review, but given how disappointing this is, I have. This property doesn't meet the standards of 4* on this site, Breakfast is not available, even though this is listed. After using Hotels.com for over 8 years, this has to be the worst service I have received, where someone cannot even be bothered to contact you when you message.

Perfect stay. Kim couldn't do enough; I was checking in late Saturday for a conference and Kim was receptive and made the process smooth and easy. Couldn't ask for a better location for the convention centre, directly across the road! The room was clean, the water pressure was excellent, the stay served it's purpose exactly as required. Would happily stay here again for a future conference.

If you are attending an event at the Harrogate Convention Centre then the location could not be better. Literally across the road from the main entrance!

Phoning the host to self check in on arrival went smoothly. Very small room and en-suite room. Could do with a thorough vacuuming and some fixtures and fittings updating but was ok for one night as the bed was comfy and the shower was hot and powerful. Convenient for town centre and parking permit was provided.
