Very clean, breakfast and dining available, affordable and really good. Parking virtually impossible, but location close to everything either by metro / subway or bus or just walking. We found the place quite safe and clean. Sidewalks are narrow by still walkable.

The staff at this property were always kind, friendly and attentive. They were always available to answer any questions and did their very best to meet our family’s needs. They arranged for airport transfers and our tour to Transylvania. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was plentiful and offered something for everyone. We also found it nice to be a little outside the Old Town (but still within a reasonable walking distance) because it was nice to have some quiet as well. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with air conditioning. A plus for me was the adjustable bed! The lobby also has a massage chair that is free for guests to use. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Bucharest.

I specifically chose this hotel because they advertised "free onsite parking" on hotels.com. This is a lie. There is only street parking that is hard to find. Furthermore, the shower consists of a showerhead sticking out of the wall with no shower walls or curtains. The shower drain was clogged and the whole bathroom and bedroom were flooded before I realized the drain was clogged. Soapy water on tiled floors is very slippery and hazardous. I cancelled the other 2 nights that I had booked here.

Es war ein schönes modernes Hotel, ruhig gelegen. Es war sehr sauber, das Frühstück war sehr abwechslungsreich, die Mitarbeiter waren bestrebt, sofort nach zulegen. Wir sind mit dem Auto angekommen und in der Straße des Hotels kann man kostenfrei parken, eine der wenigen Straßen in der Umgebung.

Kleines Hotel in einer nicht so schönen Gegend. Ca. 5 Minuten von der Plata Romana. Nett designte Zimmer mit elektrischem Rollo, Bad ist ausreichend groß. An manchen Ecken ist schon etwas der Lack ab, aber dennoch alles sehr sauber. Frühstück wurde von einer netten Dame organisiert, Kaffee, Tee und viel Auswahl an Früchten und Nüssen/Kernen. Essen empfehlenswert im bucataria, 100 Meter die Straße hoch.

Loved the quirky nature of the hotel. Breakfast was good, the staff and service were great. One drawback was the number of stairs though there is one small elevator. Quiet location not too far from the centre of town

Well positioned in a quiet area, but with transport links to everywhere I wanted to go. The hotel was very clean with excellent facilities. The breakfast was very good and the staff were efficient and very pleasant. They were willing to do some laundry for me free of charge which I thought was very good of them. Overall very happy with the hotel and return there after trip elsewhere

The room was reasonably large. We were not sure about the automatic curtains, or the bed that could be tilted so you could sit upright, seemed a bit unnecessary. The furniture seemed a bit dated and worn, the colourful chairs in the room and restaurant were all stained from use. We didn't like the wet room bathroom as it took ages for the floor to dry and was annoying when you wanted to go in and out of the bathroom. The restaurant is in a basement, and we only stayed for breakfast once as it seemed sad to be stuck in a basement when the weather was great. Most of the breakfast had disappeared by the time we attended in the morning. The welcome drink/cheese was a nice touch, but again a shame to be sat in a basement in the summer. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. There were a couple of bugs in the room (including a caterpillar) which we had to pop out of the window. The location was great though, away from the touristy old town, and there were great restaurants/bars nearby, including the restaurant on the same street!

It was ok but not sure if I would stay again the shower door wasn't closing properly and the water was all over the floor in the bathroom, the air-conditioning wasn't working properly either, and the breakfast wasn't that good.

Mein Zimmer war einwandfrei sauber und sehr modern eingerichtet. Das Bett war ebenfalls komfortabel. Als Raucher habe ich ausserdem den kleinen Balkon sehr geschätzt. Das Badezimmer war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig eingerichtet, da man sich zwischen Duschwand und Waschbecken fast durchzwängen musste, um zur Toilette zu kommen. Ausserdem fehlten mir Dinge wie eine Toilettenpapierhalterung, Seifenschale oder Ablage in der Dusche für Duschmittel. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Für einen Kurzaufenthalt bei einem angemessenem Preis war ich alles in allem zufrieden mit dem Hotel Christina und würde es erneut buchen.

We have stayed in this hotel for a week when it was 40 degrees centigrade during the day. Returning to this air conditioned paradise was the best treat we had in the city. The rooms are spacious, the bed even though narrow are surprisingly comfortable, the AC cools the room without hitting the beds. The breakfast is excellent, the personnel nice and always ready to help. Add to this a very moderate price and a good location and you get one of the best deals in Bucharest.

I booked the room in this hotel for one night and it was absolutely amazing stay. The room was clean and in good condition. The presence of a smart toilet and automatic control of shutters and curtains, as well as an electric bed was beyond my expectations. Excellent for this price.

The hotel was very clean and modern looking. The room was plenty for just me with TV and hotel safe. Nice area for hanging up clothes and a decent sized balcony overlooking the cobbled road. The shower was powerful and large but the only downside was that there was no screen between the bathroom door and the showerhead. There was also no brick well around the main 'splash' area. The excess water flowed into the main bedroom/living area. Had to inform reception and we got it mopped up .. Next shower i had i put an extra towel beneath the bathroom door. There is a coffee machine available but i would have much preferred just a kettle. Breakfast area was superb and a delightful choice of food. The coffee was excellent ... The staff were tremendous and a great help .. They can order you taxis Ubers and Bolt There is also a service for private trips up to the castle and also to Bulgaria These trips run from the hotel and it is a 'set' price up to so many people I would definitely go back again

The open shower design with a single door creates excess water splashed on the bathroom floor can be a slippery hazard. The minimal design of the room is good but there isn’t a hanging closet. The breakfast was very generous and location of hotel was central.

Honestly the room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable but there were a couple major things that were extremely off with this hotel. Yes I travelled Solo, however the queen bed I was given, I was only given one pillow and a comforter that was for a solo twin bed, it really didn't make any sense to me. The mini fridge didn't have anything in it, which is okay, but it wasn't even on or cold at all, and stank when I opened it. The shower didn't seal shut so water went all over the bathroom floor when showering and was so small each time I turned around I would hit the tap and change the water temperature to a scolding hot or freezing cold in an instant. The lighting situation was not pleasant due to it being daylight LED, 5000+K lumins. Overall I'm sorry but I wouldn't stay again here.

Staff were amazing and very helpful. Someone was around 24/7. We didn’t explore the area as we weren’t there long but it was quiet around the hotel. We will definitely be back!

The staff at this property were always kind, friendly and attentive. They were always available to answer any questions and did their very best to meet our family’s needs. They arranged for airport transfers and our tour to Transylvania. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was plentiful and offered something for everyone. We also found it nice to be a little outside the Old Town (but still within a reasonable walking distance) because it was nice to have some quiet as well. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with air conditioning. A plus for me was the adjustable bed! The lobby also has a massage chair that is free for guests to use. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Bucharest.

The room was amazing and incredible value. Everything was clean and great condition and it was in an amazing location. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. I couldnt reccomend this hotel more.

Everything you need for a decent breakfast. Room was quiet. The only noises we had were from people coming into the hotel at night, but it was only for a minute or two. Not an issue. The room was very spacious and comfortable. There were radiators in the room and bathroom along with air conditioning. Very close to walk to the nearest metro, so really easy to get anywhere. The surrounding area isnt very pretty but felt safe. Would definitely stay here again.

When travelling to Bucharest and looking for a reasonably priced hotel in downtown Bucharest, look no further. Hotel Christina is your best possible choice among the many hotels in the area. Located on a very quiet street just 5 minutes of walking from Piata Romana, the hotel is literally a well hidden gem which waits to be discovered. Very clean, quiet, with an excellent buffet breakfast, you can't ask for more. The staff is very nice and helpful. I am native Romania living for 30 years in US. Hotel Christina is a lovely hotel. It's about a 20min walk from Old Town Bucharest but Bolts from the hotel to town only cost about 20 leu. We stayed for 2 nights, the room was very comfortable and clean and quiet. There is a coffee machine and free water in the room as well as slippers and dressing gowns which gives it a lovely 'high end' price for a very reasonable price. But the highlight is breakfast! The have a fabulous buffet with loads of choice and a barista making you whatever coffee you like. It's a great way to start the day and very handy if you have kids. A lovely stay. Would definitely recommend and will stay again if I'm back in Bucharest.

It was ok but not sure if I would stay again the shower door wasn't closing properly and the water was all over the floor in the bathroom, the air-conditioning wasn't working properly either, and the breakfast wasn't that good.

In generale Hotel buono potrebbe essere ottimo se ui personale alla reception fosse più attento e gentile con gli ospiti, sembravano seccati e veloci. La camera ottima sia per grandezza che per arredamento con ottimi servizi e set di cortesia, bagno ottimo in tutto anche la pulizia della camera (dovrebbero solo pulire la polvere che si trova nell'impianto di illuminazione ma credo non competa al personale delle stanze). La colazione abbastanza varia e con buona qualità peccato che servino marmellate e varie creme in delle piccole ciotole che oltre ad essere poco igieniche non consentono di capire cosa contengano, servizio non buono a parte le cameriere con capelli lunghi e svolazzanti ed in pantofole,senza calzini, (alla faccia dell'igigiene) erano lenti nel pulire i tavoli. Per un 4 stelle pecche abbastanza gravi ma lo standard in Romania forse è questo. Comunque Hotel che consiglio in zona ottima e strategica.

Only here for two nights but really enjoyed our stay. Nice location, a 20-minute stroll from the old town and very close to a bus stop for easy travel to and from the airport. Plenty to choose from at breakfast, great air conditioning during some hot weather and kind and helpful staff. Room was clean and spacious, and the plethora of TV channels was appreciated as it allowed us to watch the World Cup!
