This motel has recently changed ownership.The new owners and staff were extremely cordial and accomodating. While this is very much a work in progress, make no mistake, it is an old school motel, complete with physical room keys and key tags.The rooms were spacious and are in the process of being worked on, but they are extremely dated. I found the room to be clean and the bed was satisfactory.There was a small microwave, mini fridge, iron, and efficiency ironing board, but that was the extent of the amenities. No hair dryer or coffee maker, so bring your own! (There was a complimentary Keurig and K-cups in the office area.) The air conditioner is a window unit and undersized for the room. It took quite a while to cool the room. The surrounding area is very rural, but the main street is quaint and literally just a couple of minutes from the venue. The area hospital and the Delaware Academy school is also just a couple of minutes drive from the motel.

This hotel is slowly getting worse. I had trouble finding outlets in the room; at one point had to unplug the microwave and the whole outlet box started coming out of the wall. Another outlet was dead. Small deteriorations noted since my last visit in 2022.

The outside looked nice. Once we got in the room it was a whole different story. The floors were in very poor condition. The ceiling had water stains and looked like it was falling down. The bathroom was terrible. The door would not close all the way. The water pressure was terrible. The walls were dirty and had a lot of patches. The vanity was old and the wood finish was coming off. There was no hairdryer. There was only shampoo in the room. The curtains were see through. There were dead bugs all on the window sill. There were stains on the towels. Holes in the sheets. The one bed was awful. Every time you move all the springs made a squeaking noise. The lighting was terrible. There was a sign that said ice and soda. There was an ice machine but no soda machine. The staff were very nice and friendly but that doesn't make up for the room at all!!!

Our experience was good. The room was clean, however it just has a distinct smell nothing you can’t handle and i imagine is because is an older motel. The downside to it is that there is not even muffins or donuts in the morning, only coffee and tea but the water was kind of funky looking. Other than that, the reception was pleasant and quick to get us our room.

Check in was smooth and cordial. Coffee/tea in the lobby. No frills. Back in the day motel, in the middle of nowhere, in the process of upgrade, and its more than adequate to get cool, clean up and get a comfortable night's sleep. Rm 116 was new and old and that was fine. Beds new. BR upgraded. Floor new. Flat screen TV. Smoke detector. You could even sit out in front of the door for some air, if you wanted. I'd go back.

We got in about 20 minutes before the front counter closed for the night in October. It's getting darker earlier and much colder at night. Our room was nice and toasty when we checked in and got to our room. There was an in room iron and board which was convenient. The guy at the front desk was friendly.

Not many hotel options in this part of the Catskills and the Buena Vista served its purpose. Clean room,polite workers at check-in, easy to check out. A refrigerator and ice machine that worked, clean bathroom with soap and shampoo, and a comfortable bed. Would stay here again.

Wasn’t fond of the Bag breakfast.. tea served was bitter, flavorless.. great value walmart brand not a fan of.. there was a hair in my shower. Sat on the toilet and the seat slid off.. no hairdryer provided.

I didn't like the smell of the place. The lobby and room both smell of overly sprayed room spray. The mini fridge was pretty noisy. The window was open at the top and I didn't notice until the morning. I had put the air conditioner on but it didn't really cool the room, not sure if it was because the window was open.

The property is way over priced and advertised as a hotel. It is a motel. It was disgusting with regards to filth. You couldn’t control the temperature in the room. Horrible.

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was very friendly and it was close to where I worked. I had to checkout early to be at and the staff accommodated me. Will stay again

I had a good stay, there was an issue with the roof leaking in a heavy rain storm but was dealt with promptly. I was given another room and it in no way affected the stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating and adding an additional day to my stay was not a problem.

If you're staying in the area, stay here instead of the Walton Motel (20 minutes down the road. It is much cleaner and the staff is much more professional.

I’ve stayed here 3x with no issues check in was pleasant and staff very helpful. . My only suggestion is to have a lock box for early check out keys. I felt bad calling the manager at 6 am to tell him I was checking out early. Other than that suggestion, I will return again with no issue.

I pulled up with my young daughter and three men were loiteering with alcohol on the front outside the rooms. I contacted Hotels .com to cancel and the automatic report was no refund. The owner of the Inn eventually called claiking I had not cancelled. I requested a refund given the very poor environment and the potential risk to my young daughter. he was veryn rude.

I've stayed here before when visiting my son in college. It's not the best place but it's quiet and right next to his university. I do wish they would fix up better. Nice location.

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was very friendly and it was close to where I worked. I had to checkout early to be at and the staff accommodated me. Will stay again

You get what you paid for,,smell inside stays on your clothes until you wash them,everything is run down, bottom of the barrel accommodations, the “breakfast” is given to you in a plastic bag, small box of cereal, milk and a couple other bad snacks, scary place, reminds me of a horror movie , do yourself a favor book something else even if it cost more money !!!

We had a great overnight stay here. Booked the room last minute for a next day ski trip and were pleasantly surprised. Spacious room w 3 beds; clean and comfortable. Just what we needed for our stay. The complimentary breakfast baggie was also a plus. Would def stay here again. Thank you.

Wasn’t fond of the Bag breakfast.. tea served was bitter, flavorless.. great value walmart brand not a fan of.. there was a hair in my shower. Sat on the toilet and the seat slid off.. no hairdryer provided.

An old motel. On the bright side when we realized we had forgotten toothpaste i suggested my husband ask if the management had some. He was given 2 small tubes and asked if we needed toothbrushes. We did not, but we really appreciated the toothpaste. We went out for breakfast to the amazing Delhi Diner and took the bagged breakfast for the trip home. It was perfectly situated for our purpose. A music festival in Bloomville. The housekeeper was charming.

Our experience was good. The room was clean, however it just has a distinct smell nothing you can’t handle and i imagine is because is an older motel. The downside to it is that there is not even muffins or donuts in the morning, only coffee and tea but the water was kind of funky looking. Other than that, the reception was pleasant and quick to get us our room.

What a great place to stay in this area. The owners were so nice, welcoming and everything was clean. They even give you a great breakfast bag. Really happy I stayed here.

Check in was smooth and cordial. Coffee/tea in the lobby. No frills. Back in the day motel, in the middle of nowhere, in the process of upgrade, and its more than adequate to get cool, clean up and get a comfortable night's sleep. Rm 116 was new and old and that was fine. Beds new. BR upgraded. Floor new. Flat screen TV. Smoke detector. You could even sit out in front of the door for some air, if you wanted. I'd go back.

This stay was comfortable and quiet. The coffee was fresh and the linens clean. The single room we stayed in felt like a small form room. Next time, we would get the double queen room for more space. Shower was clean and warm but very small. The hotel was full of guests and we still never heard a sound. The microwave and refrigerator was a blessing. It is a great choice if you need to stay in the Delhi area

The rooms were newly redone with some upgrades (like plumbing) still needed. Staff/owner was friendly and helpful. It’s one of the few places around and it is not a luxury hotel with amenities but it was clean and safe and functional.

We stayed here because we were attending a wedding a few miles away. The owners were nice at check in. The room did have an air freshener smell to it that was trying to hide a nasty cigarette smell but what do you expect for a cheap motel. We quick dropped our stuff and went to the wedding. After the wedding it was about midnight. The room still stunk but it was The bathroom that was disgusting. It had a very pungent vomit smell. There were stains on the heater, that could have easily been wiped off but were left there. It kinda looked like someone had missed the toilet and puked into the heater and cleaned it the best they could. That would also explain the smell. The mini shampoo and conditioner bottles look they had been in the room for years. The air conditioner was old, and I’m sure it was full of mold. To make matters worse The pillows had long black hairs on them, on both sides of the bed. Over all it was just disgusting and I will never stay there again. Lesson learned.
