Fairfield Inn & Suites Houston Intercontinental Airport

My flight came in late and they were able to pick me up and get me checked in by 11:30pm. Kenny the shuttle driver was a pleasure after many hours of travel. The desk manager also made me feel welcome and comfortable

During our stay only one elevator working made it uncomfortable. Breakfast was not good. People could be little more friendly

The location is perfect for shuttle to the airport- however, one of the 2 elevators is down for maintenance and that caused significant delay to get to the room. Property was clean enough for the price. You can hear the neighbors so thin walls- or turn the t.v. Up.

This was a typical Fairfield Inn experience. Nothing outstanding, but nothing majorly bad, other than our experience waiting for the courtesy shuttle to pick us up from the airport. After calling and waiting an hour to finally have the shuttle arrive to pick us up, there was only one seat available (we had 2 in our group and there were plenty of others waiting as well). The driver indicated he’d be back in about 15 minutes. After waiting another 25-30 minutes we decide to take an Uber (after waiting 1.5 hours we got there in 15 minutes with the Uber). Hotel only had one operating elevator (minor inconvenience). Shuttle return experience back to the airport was great, friendly driver, and prompt drop-off).

Hotel in good condition. Communication regarding the airport shuttle not great. Pickup from airport changed but was initially told the old place. Shuttle fills up and not available at peak times.

Room was semi clean, there was a long hair on our sheets from the previous guest which tells me they weren’t washed. While watching TV a huge roach appeared from behind it!

The room was nice and big. The bed from the pull out sofa was pretty small, and would not be very comfortable for someone taller than 5ft. The pillows were not good… they looked fluffy but went flat as soon as you lay on them. There was a dead cockroach in the corner. Breakfast was decent but lacked in hot options. Good coffee!

Initial impression with front desk was very positive and welcoming. We were in Houston to attend a family member’s funeral. We had arrived early so we asked if it would be possible to check in early to which she was able to make that happen. Upon entering our room, it was clean and welcoming. Since we were traveling with other family members she was also able to get us rooms close together. My only complaint is that my bed’s mattress had a significant dip in it. The bed my mother was sleeping on had a smaller one. When I went to the front desk the next morning, the same girl that had checked us in was at the front desk. When I told her about the mattress she came across as having an attitude. At that time I told her that I had paid too much money to sleep on a bed like that. I told her the dip on my bed was so significant I was surprised that housekeeping was not aware of it or that others had not complained. At the time she looked over at another lady at the front desk - she happened to be a lead of housekeeping. She then interjected that I did not have to move rooms. She said she would replace the mattress on my bed and rotate the mattress on my mother’s bed. She then explained how the pillow top mattresses were an issue because you could not flip them like traditional mattresses instead you could only rotate them. She also stated that dips in the mattresses were a common occurrence due to only being able to rotate. She was able to take care of the issue.

Very loud doors! Heard neighbors all around us constantly. Also suggest having late check ins on 1st floor. People checked in above us and made noise for over 2 hours until after midnight. When we called front desk we were told they had ‘just” checked in and would quiet down. That’s not good customer service.

Furniture is old. Room size is very small. Internet is not working at all. Not good for business people.

Rooms dated for sure, even had an old microwave and the mini fridge did not work.

A mini mart would have a been a mile in the dark with no sidewalks in either direction.

Cassndra is amazing. Always greets me by my last name when i come in. She is absolutely s joy to be around

Robert, the nightshift manager on our stay, was absolutely phenomenal and went above and beyond to accommodate us. He was dealing with a surge of people dealing with travel delays and his polite and professional demeanor did not waver. He always had a smile on his face. His positive energy was infectious. If we are ever back in the Houston area, we will be staying here again because of Robert.

The front desk was very helpful..they stored our luggage until our room was ready and moved it directly in our room…enjoyed our stay !

Booked a family suite. When asked for the blanket, gave me a bedsheet. Not going to come back to this property. First day of stay, the Breakfast counter was emptied by 9.50 am. She was very rude when asked the time for breakfast was till 10 am. Never going back to this property again.

Easy and fast check in, friendly employees and great stay!

The clerk wasn't pleasant, didn't have anyone to help with luggage. the ac in room 303 kept me all night.

Great place! Hard to find!! The gps send you to a door that is closed! You have thru enter to another hotel which is confusing!!

At first, I couldn’t find the property. Better signage is needed. The closest entrance to the property is blocked/closed gate. THAT did not give me a good impression. I would suggest more lit areas around the building. I found it quite dark. However, my room was clean, there is one elevator not working. The bed was so comfortable. Had a good nights sleep,

Perfect for one night stay and super closed from the airport

This hotel is in a good location for an early morning flight from George Bush Intercontinental Airport. Hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. Cassandra at check in was very helpful, and we appreciated her thoughtfulness.

First night had to call for wellness check on room next door sec whent stood up and left . Second night 5-7 people in room next door even a dog!!! Couldnt sleep both night Too dark hard to find no signage from the street . Didnt have houskeeper after first night . Wouldnt recomment at all

We had an early morning flight so we missed the breakfast. We asked if they could give us "a grab and go breakfast" but they said no. It would have been nice if they could have worked with us.

One of the nicer hotels I’ve stayed at, and I go to Houston probably 3x a year for several days at a time. On site security to watch the cars, airport transportation is very convenient, breakfast options, and even a nice clean pool area
