I like the feel of “home away from home”. The area is safe, quiet and you wake up with a beautiful view of the Swiss Alps. Breakfast was very delicious and the staff were very kind and friendly. We arrive by car and parking was not a problem. Although, this is not on the main road, there is a walkable bus stop. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Brienz.

Grand chalet suisse typique rénové en 1994, extrêmement propre et bien entretenu. Bien situé dans une panorama paisible et campagnard. Vue magnifique de la grande terrasse où il fait bon prendre le déjeuner et le souper. Beau menu de soir de qualité (3 choix de plats en table d’hôte 3 services ou à la carte) Service attentionné et efficace. Nous avons adoré.

주변풍경은 말할것도 없이최고 였습니다^^ 호텔호스트분도 친절하시고 친근하셔서 너무 좋았어요 시설도 전자렌지랑 차포트가 2층복도에 준비되어있어서 부담없이 사용할수있었습니다 다음에 스위스에 오게 되면 꼭 다시 머물고 싶은곳입니다^^ 편하 잘쉬다 가게 해주셔서 감사합니다

Des hôtels j'ai eu l'occasion d'en faire, du deux étoiles au 5 étoiles... Et bien je crois que j'ai rarement été aussi bien reçu que dans cet établissement. L'hôtel est au calme, les chambres sont simples mais fonctionnelles et d'une propreté irréprochable. Nous avons eu la chance de profiter d'une terrasse immense, avec une vue incroyable. Petit déjeuner de très bonne qualité, dans un cadre typique, avec des poutres sculptees dans la masse par des artisans locaux, vraiment a voir ! Ici, pas de buffets interminables mais que du bon, là où certains hôtels vous proposent 10 variétés de pains, ici il y en a 3, mais quels pains !!! Même chose pour les fromages, ici pas de produits industriels a la chaîne mais quelques pépites a découvrir...les confitures, etc...que du bon. Et enfin et surtout, quel accueil des équipes et du patron, juste incroyable. On se sent chez soit, on se sent bien, on profite Rapport qualité prix exceptionnel ! Merci

O hotel fica localizado numa cidadezinha muito linda, num local tranquilo e acolhedor. O quarto no qual ficamos era amplo e confortável, com uma vista muito bonita. Havia café, leite, chás e sopas de cortesia. Os funcionários foram extremamente educados, gentis e prestativos. Falta um frigobar no quarto. O café da manhã era bom, mas faltava ovos mexidos ou cozidos (se quisesse comer ovo, era preciso pagar 5,50 euros por unidade).

ブリエンツ駅からはバスで行く必要があります。最初は不便だと思いましたが、のどかで静かな朝を迎え、落ち着いた食堂で豊かな朝食を味わっていると、スイスに滞在する喜びを心から味わえました。村の景色そのものもとても美しい。スープやコーヒーなどを自由に飲める心遣いもうれしいものでした。グリンデルワルトもマイリンゲンもすぐ近くです。高所を走るポストバスの景色も素晴らしい。再びスイスに来ることがあったら、必ず予約したいホテルです。そしてきっとできるかぎり長期滞在したくなります。

This hotel is located in the most peaceful, beautiful valley. It is a real retreat! The staff members are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is magnificent--variety, replenished, attentive staff. Parking is easy; rooms are spacious; soup & cocoa snacks are a bonus. Plus there are cute cow statues and a kugelweg (marble run) in the playground nearby.

Otel genel olarak çok güzeldi. Biz araçla gittiğimiz için ulaşımda hiçbir sıkıntı yaşamadık ama toplu taşımayla ulaşım biraz zor olabilir. Kaldığımız oda oldukça geniş ve ferah, önündeki veranda ise hem çok güzel hem de muhteşem manzaralıydı. Sadece geceleri verandanın oldukça karanlık olması küçük bir eksiydi. Oda temizliği ve genel hizmetler gayet iyiydi, hiçbir sorun yaşamadık. Otel personeli son derece güler yüzlü ve cana yakın. Her sabah kahvaltıda Andrea ile sohbet etmek keyifliydi. Kahvaltı çok zengin olmasa da yeterliydi. Domuz eti içeren ürünler istemediğimizi belirttiğimizde personel bizim için tavuk jambonu ayrıca servis etti, bu hassasiyetleri için özellikle teşekkür ediyorum. Otelin tek olumsuz yanı akşam yemeği fiyatları oldu. Etli menünün 50 CHF, sebze ağırlıklı küçük açık büfenin ise 25 CHF olması bize biraz yüksek geldi. Ancak lobide çay, kahve ve hazır çorba seçeneklerinin yanı sıra ufak bir fırın ve su ısıtıcısının bulunması çok hoş bir detaydı. Genel olarak huzurlu, keyifli ve temiz bir konaklama deneyimi yaşadık. Küçük eksiklerine rağmen tekrar tercih edebileceğim bir otel.

We booked a standard room but due to a double booking, we were put up in the apartment. This is right next door to the hotel. I cannot speak for what the regular rooms are like, but the apartment appears to have not been updated since the 1950s. It was like an old cabin with creaky floors (could hear everything from the people above and outside). The beds were not comfortable. The bathroom was old and cramped. The apartment had plenty of room to spread out but I really think we would have preferred a regular room. The location is nice, just outside of Brienz. The dining room in the hotel was very nice and the breakfast was good.

This place is extremely clean you dont have to worry of the hygene. The staff are very kind. We had a short chat on the day when it rained and went to the caves which was also very nice to avoid the heavy rain.

Though we had a little adventure when we arrived, we enjoyed our stay here immensely. The area was quiet and pastoral in some places though conveniently located not too far away from our areas of interest (Interloken, Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen). The hotel itself was great and the staff fantastic. Kathleen was super responsive and kept our kids of 9 & 11 engaged and happy. They loved constructing from the toys in the little area by the dining hall. She also gave us helpful tips regarding where to go and what to see. The breakfast was fresh and authentic and prepared us for our day. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The room keys were a delight as well. Thank you for a great time and for the great conversations.

At checkin, we were greeted by Sharon who has a "bubbly"personality. Check in was quick and efficient. The chalet room was clean and had a beautiful mountain & distant waterfall view. At breakfast we were greeted by lovely Ivona, who is so very nice and sweet. Breakfast was a delicious buffet. The township is quiet and quaint. The property is also a 10 minute walk from the Ballenberg Swiss Open Air Museum.

Great little hotel in small Swiss village. Location is only 25 minute drive to Interlaken for all activities. View is amazing from all rooms. We booked a standard room but due to a double booking, we were put up in the apartment. This is right next door to the hotel. I cannot speak for what the regular rooms are like, but the apartment appears to have not been updated since the 1950s. It was like an old cabin with creaky floors (could hear everything from the people above and outside). The beds were not comfortable. The bathroom was old and cramped. The apartment had plenty of room to spread out but I really think we would have preferred a regular room. The location is nice, just outside of Brienz. The dining room in the hotel was very nice and the breakfast was good.

We really enjoyed staying here. The only issue we had was that our room was incredibly hot. We did visit during the heatwave. It was a very small air-conditioner in the room. It was not up to the task.

I like the feel of “home away from home”. The area is safe, quiet and you wake up with a beautiful view of the Swiss Alps. Breakfast was very delicious and the staff were very kind and friendly. We arrive by car and parking was not a problem. Although, this is not on the main road, there is a walkable bus stop. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Brienz.

The staff was amazing! This was the best place we stayed during our 10 day road trip through Europe. The breakfast was delicious and the little details made you feel special. The room was clean and accommodating to 3 adults, I was traveling with my 2 adult children. They even gave me a gift at checkout.

This was probably one of the best stays in Switzerland and France. We booked for only one night, Andreas and Jules were so courteous that felt like staying additional night had our itinerary provided that opportunity. Rooms are well maintained and breakfast was fresh and service like family

We travelled with 3 Golden Retrievers and hotel offer us bigger apartment which was very nice. The breakfast and dinner were so good. Also very good coffee which is very important issue! The staff was great, very good sense of humor and very good customer service. The location was just perfect. Very quiet place. Greetings to staff for great experience with food and service.

Exceptional stay, the staff were very accommodating. There was a day that we have to leave early and will miss breakfast…. Stella packed us food to go! The place is so serene and peaceful the view is amazing especially with foliage how we wished we could have stayed longer to see the peak of foliage.

Though we had a little adventure when we arrived, we enjoyed our stay here immensely. The area was quiet and pastoral in some places though conveniently located not too far away from our areas of interest (Interloken, Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen). The hotel itself was great and the staff fantastic. Kathleen was super responsive and kept our kids of 9 & 11 engaged and happy. They loved constructing from the toys in the little area by the dining hall. She also gave us helpful tips regarding where to go and what to see. The hotel is nice and clean. Hotel staffs are super friendly. We had one early morning train and we could not find a taxi. The owner of the hotel dropped us at the station on early morning. He was so helpful. Definitely recommend to stay.

The hotel and general area was very peaceful. The hospitality was great, and the staff made us feel right at home. The view from the hotel is amazing, being close to both the mountains and the lake. It was also very convenient to drive to beautiful cities, such as Bern, Thun, the local Brienz, and Grindelwald is also not too far. Certainly has a more cottage vibe, but it adds to the experience. Would 10/10 recommend for an authentic Swiss experience.

Nette Mitarbeiter. Toller Chef. Nur schade, dass man kein Abendessen im Hotel bekommt. Einzige Möglichkeit im Ort zum Abend essen zu bekommen, wenn dass naheliegende Hotel nicht ausgebucht ist, weil dann bekommt man da auch kein Essen zum Abend.

O hotel fica localizado numa cidadezinha muito linda, num local tranquilo e acolhedor. O quarto no qual ficamos era amplo e confortável, com uma vista muito bonita. Havia café, leite, chás e sopas de cortesia. Os funcionários foram extremamente educados, gentis e prestativos. Falta um frigobar no quarto. O café da manhã era bom, mas faltava ovos mexidos ou cozidos (se quisesse comer ovo, era preciso pagar 5,50 euros por unidade).

Oda temizliği ve genel hizmetler gayet iyiydi, hiçbir sorun yaşamadık. Otel personeli son derece güler yüzlü ve cana yakın. Her sabah kahvaltıda Andrea ile sohbet etmek keyifliydi. Kahvaltı çok zengin olmasa da yeterliydi. Domuz eti içeren ürünler istemediğimizi belirttiğimizde personel bizim için tavuk jambonu ayrıca servis etti, bu hassasiyetleri için özellikle teşekkür ediyorum. Otelin tek olumsuz yanı akşam yemeği fiyatları oldu. Etli menünün 50 CHF, sebze ağırlıklı küçük açık büfenin ise 25 CHF olması bize biraz yüksek geldi. Ancak lobide çay, kahve ve hazır çorba seçeneklerinin yanı sıra ufak bir fırın ve su ısıtıcısının bulunması çok hoş bir detaydı. Genel olarak huzurlu, keyifli ve temiz bir konaklama deneyimi yaşadık. Küçük eksiklerine rağmen tekrar tercih edebileceğim bir otel.

A wonderful discovery near Brienz! 🇨🇭 We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, perfectly located near Brienz in a peaceful and quiet setting. We especially appreciated the warm and welcoming hospitality of the owners and the entire staff. Our room was very comfortable, and the guesthouse is particularly well suited for families, with a welcoming atmosphere where everyone can feel at home. And the food was absolutely excellent! The staff was very welcoming. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Very friendly service and proprietors. The room was cozy with a lovely terrace. Close to the Swiss open air museum enough for a nice walk. We wish we would have booked another evening in the area. Would suggest staying here if you are visiting the Swiss open air museum or would like a nice stay in the countryside right on the bus route close to Brienz
