-We had a 4 day 3 night stay. There was supposed to be housekeeping services every other day, which we never had any housekeeping, and had to go down and request to at least get towels, and were told they had no towels. There were three other people waiting in a line behind me at the same time asking for towels for their room also. -The website said the continental breakfast was to 1030 each day which when we got there they closed it down at nine each morning. -We were charged extra for parking each night (along with other fees not listed) which was not listed on there either and they had their own private parking lot. -It’s the middle of June and the pool was not open our entire stay and was not listed as closed on the website.

This hotel is usually great. However this stay was much different. I’ll start with the positive Doug did a great job at check in and answering questions. Beyond that the rest left a lot to be desired. The breakfast has taken a big step back. The hot tube was closed and looked like it hadn’t been touched in along time. The pool was extremely dirty to the point I wouldn’t swim in it and others felt the same as no one used it. Going to consider other options for next trip

The pool was closed, it honestly doesn’t look like it’s been open for months, the pool gates have a permanent closed sign and the pool furniture is completely ripped up (it was closed the last time we stayed here in March as well) the website and phone message both say pool, no mention of it being closed If they are not going to fix it and are going to keep it closed permanently they should update their list of amenities. All of the outside garbages were full and not changed regularly

Very disappointed when we arrived to find out that the pool is closed and has been since November. There should have been a mention of that on the website and there was not. Staff did not offer to help to make it right. I offered up several solutions on my own and finally after the manager was consulted three times I received a small discount. Very disappointed in the run around, the lack of customer service and the description of the hotel not being accurate.

This property charges you to park your car. I call to inquire about this after seeing a charge from the hotel on my cc and they said it was standard with all properties in the area to charge for parking. I checked all surrounding hotel’s and Homewood Suites is the only hotel that charges you to park your car. The hotel staff was so rude when I called to ask. I usually stay at Homewood but never again!!!! Very Unhappy

The breakfast was good. The room condition was ghetto. The headboard was falling apart. The kitchen was nasty. The wallpaper was literally hanging off the wall. The curtains in the bedroom were only shears so light flooded in the room from the street and highway all night long the room had a horrible smell. The sofa was something they may have found in the trash.

The hotel room was dirty. There was trash in the cans when we arrived, hairs and dirt on the floor when we arrived. Just disgusting. The front desk employee was not there, I waited for 10 minutes and even called the front desk (no answer).

The room was fairly comfortable. Unfortunately we were put in a room next to rooms that had just recently flooded. We constantly had noise pollution from fans and workers going in and out of these rooms. The hallways were fairly torn up, the wallpaper and baseboards were torn up, the two closest exit doors were barely hanging on and seemed damaged for awhile. Staff was always polite, but couldn't seem to do a lot.

There is a charge for parking not made clear on website, did not realize until charge showed on my bill at check out. Hotel was in a convenient area to visit our grandkids easy in and out. We had a suite with 2 queens in 1 room and a sofa bed in the living area/kitchen combination, very nice. BUT, no suitcase racks in the bedrooms so had to put all on the floor and the sofa bed mattress too used, needs replacement. I did appreciate the fresh bedding for the sofa bed, but had to go to pick it up at front desk.

There was a small issue when I arrived. My room was accidentally checked in with another family. No biggie the lady at the front desk took care of it. Later that night though I did receive a phone call after 10pm asking to come down to the desk to sort things out. I guess the lady thought she called the other family.

I was called by hotel staff earlier in the day before we arrived and told that the room we booked was not available and asked if I was willing to downgrade to a smaller room. When I said "no", they hung up on me. When we arrived after an 8 hour drive, they couldn't find my reservation number, even though I had a printout of the confirmation email, and other emails I had received from Hotels.com. After speaking to the assistant manager and waiting for over 30 minutes at the front desk, they finally told me they "found" the reservation, but couldn't put me in the room I had booked. I had booked a 2-queen bed suite for me and my daughter, but instead got a 1-king and 1 sofa pullout suite. On top of that, the room wasn’t very clean. I had come with a church group to the hotel and a few of them experienced the same kind of treatment, having to stay in different rooms than what they had booked/paid for. My friend was erroneously checked of the hotel a day early, and the hotel called him and asked what to do with his luggage. When he told them it was a mistake, that he had booked two nights, not one, they promptly hung up on him too, and he had to leave the conference we were at and go back to the hotel to straighten it all out. It was a terrible experience and I would never stay there again.

The hotel room was dirty. There was trash in the cans when we arrived, hairs and dirt on the floor when we arrived. Just disgusting. The front desk employee was not there, I waited for 10 minutes and even called the front desk (no answer).

Given the wrong room when we arrived, overcharged for our room and why on earth do you charge for parking when we’re staying at YOUR hotel. We were not informed there was a parking fee at all. Room key didn’t work when we went to our room after breakfast one morning and our room was the absolute furthest from the main desk so we had to walk back down the football field length of a hall way you have to get it fixed and my husband has limited ability to walk with his back being messed up. That was the whole reason for our visit to this area in the first place.

The staff was wonderful and the room was spotless. What stood out to me was the extras at breakfast. It's the little touches that sets them apart. They offered tortillas,sourcream and salsa and a few items to add to the waffles. It was also very clean and well attended.

I loved the hotel it was great but i my keys stopped working and i when i went to the front desk the attendant was nowhere around for 30 mins. Low and behold i found him in his office sound asleep smh.

When we arrived after driving for eight hours, we discovered upon entering our room that it did not have a sofa bed, which we had specifically reserved. However, following a discussion with the front desk, we were upgraded to a larger room at no additional charge. We were grateful that they accommodated us and had a suitable room available. If we have to evacuate for hurricane, we will be returning to this hotel.

Good location in the Allen Texas area. Breakfast includes hot items - usually eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy. Our room on the 2nd floor at the rear of the hotel was quiet. Lots of families and pets staying here this holiday week. Good value stay.

The stay was good. Nearby all the events that I was part of for the weekend. Water on point gets hot fast. Customer service was great. Very spacious a home away from home.

Direct near a highway so a lot of noise from traffic, swimming pool is not available ( website doesn’t mention this but it’s out of order for a really long time already) if you like quit nights and a pool skip this hotel

The room was very clean and well taken care of. The cleaning staff were helpful when I needed them and solved the problem that I had. The breakfast offered surpassed my expectations and the staff were friendly and very helpful.

I got very, very ill after breakfast in the dining room. I have a mold allergy, and I did not realize that the coffee in the big server somehow had mold in it. I was very ill and bound to my room most of the day for two days, unable to participate in my conference in the area. And I realized that the cup I brought my coffee up in was on the table and saw the mold in the top of the coffee. I took it downstairs to show the front desk, and they apologized and took the cup. They said that they were very sorry, that they did have a company clean the machine from time to time, but only the barrel, not the tubes or stopper. I suggested to them to check the entire machine and clean it out with vinegar and some solution because the mold made me very, very ill. The front desk apologized. I did keep a photograph of the coffee on my phone.

Our check-in was delayed by two hours because we were told the previous guests had left the room in an extremely poor condition and housekeeping needed additional time to prepare it. We had taken an early flight specifically to maximize our first day, but because our room was not ready until 5:00 PM, the benefit of arriving early was completely lost. Later, we were informed that the real issue was a significant shortage of housekeeping staff, which left insufficient time to prepare rooms. What was particularly disappointing was the response we received from the hotel staff. Instead of offering a sincere apology, we were told that some guests check in as late as midnight and that a 5:00 PM check-in was therefore “not that bad.” This response showed very little understanding of the inconvenience caused to our family. We also booked and paid for a room with the reasonable expectation that it would be available at the advertised check-in time. If a guest were unable to pay the full room rate on time, it would not be considered acceptable for them to simply pay less. By the same logic, it is difficult to understand why the hotel would not be held accountable for failing to provide the room at the promised time. Furthermore, the advertised housekeeping schedule of service every other day was not followed during our stay, apparently due to the same staffing shortage.

I stayed for several weeks. They would clean my room every 4 or 5 days after I would complain and throw my own trash out and get my own clean towels every night. Ridiculous for how much money I spent.
