The Belmont Inn

Beautiful structure that needs better maintaining. Hear next door guests conversations. No water in morning coffee/ toast area. Last morning stay had no plates, spoons etc. Donna is an excellent and most helpful employee. Recommend they invest in the cleaning service doing a deep clean in corners of floors, walls etc. great location.

This hotel was built in 1903 and has antiques and multiple levels. The parking lot is in the back and has a ramp with no stairs to the check in. There is an elevator to go up to the next two floors but there are stairs from the elevator to the first level. There is a nice outdoor seating area in the front of the building and it is right in the downtown area and there are restaurants within walking distance. There is a basic continental breakfast. It was very quiet while I was there.

Great stay, there was a festival going on so traffic was a bit challenging, staff was amazing!

Look, historic inn does not mean charming. In this case it was overdecorated, old and musty, mildewed bathtub, unable to control the temperature in individual rooms, not 24 hour staff to consult and a non attended supposedly continental breakfast. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Such a unique and charming hotel. Please don't pass this place up if you have a chance. Super friendly staff. Worth it.
