Dont be silly like me bring a lock for your locker but in case you forget there is a dollar store nearby (walkble distance). Overall, i'll been seen them in 3 weeks for my next trip.

Regular outlet, usb and usb-c charging for personal use inside bed area as well as a small shelf/light. Clean showers and bathrooms. Common area has seating, filtered water, tv, and A/C. Small kitchen with fridge and utensils. Small outdoor seating area. Subway station 3 blocks away from the property.

Good staff. Bed is clean, efficient air conditioner and outlets, lockers, but bring your own lock. They are still doing construction in the main public kitchen area,but you still can sit, hang out, eat and work when there's not construction.

The hostel it’s an amazing location! Staff was nice! Only problem on my stay was the the lobby was being remodeled. And was noisy in the morning. But this is something that won’t be a problem in the future.

It was a couple of blocks from a large variety of restaurants. It was 3 blocks from the subway, and half a block from a bus stop. There’s no elevator, and I was on the 5th floor, so being forgetful will get a person a lot of exercise. But by the 3rd day I was glad to be moving on.

First time as hostel user and a good choice. I had a two male pod. Things were as described. Couple of things, bring a small lock for the room lockers and test. I had to Mcgiver the latch. The garden is nice to get outside. The pod looks like it has a latch but they don’t function(maybe a safety thing?). The men’s bathrooms were clean and plenty of hot water. Bring ear plugs as 106th and Central Park West are “popular” roads for sirens. I’d be back.

Hostel que vale pela localização na que fica na cara do Central Park. Pelo preço a limpeza e as instalações poderiam ser melhores. Ex. Banheiro sem nenhum pendurador, chuveiro fraco e apenas sabonete líquido e toalha sao disponibilizados. Além disso, tudo faz muito barulho, desde as trancas, porta da cápsula e ar condicionado no quarto. Fiquei em PODs mais baratos em Tóquio (metropole com m2 tao caro quanto NYC) e as instalações sao infinitamente superiores. Equipe simpatica e deixam guardar a mala pós check out Importante sinalizar que nao tem elevador e o cofre no quarto nao vem com cadeado (tem que trazer o seu) e cabe apenas uma mala de bordo pequena.

This an easy 5/5 for its category. A no frills, budget friendly option, with friendly and helpful staff. It was a short stay and I didn’t need much. The staff made it easy from checking my bags to get me set up at check-in. I was fortunate to have respectful roommates. The pod was big enough to sit up straight inside which was a relief.

他们的厨房可能在装修，到处都乱糟糟的，只有一个微波炉。没有洗衣房。唯一值得点赞的是他们的房间较小，床位是封闭的太空舱类型，所以没太多异味。

There is no elevator, the staff is unfriendly, the beds are very uncomfortable. I do not recommend staying here. For the price, there are better hostels in New York, such as Hi, New York, which is a few blocks away.

One of the best hostels I’ve ever been. The are is located is super safe which is a big priority for me. The girls from the staff are super friendly and patient. The rooms and bathrooms were super clean. Definitely coming back

Limpeza impecável, atendimento excelente, toalhas e lençóis limpos. Perfeito para quem busca um lugar com um custo acessível e próximo de tudo. A única observação fica apenas para o colchão que é muito fino para dormir.

Very clean and in a nice area near Columbia University and Central park. My recommendation is to bring ear plugs because the heating system is quite loud. I think it might be an older system but a few times it startled me and another guest who asked, "is that normal?" Other than that, staff are helpful and the bathrooms are very clean. Towel is provided but lock for the lockers are not.

They assigned me to a male bedroom (that i didnt asked) and there was no bathrooms for women. I had to go 2 floors low by stairs to get a bathroom. When i found it it was really small. However, for men there were 2 big bathrooms in each floor. They changed me on an another bedroom. Bathrooms were really disgusting.

I usually don’t like hostels but New York hotels were way out of budget. This hostel is the best I’ve ever been to, the staff were genuinely very chill and nice (especially Miguel), there’s privacy in the sleeping ‘pods’/beds, and it was very clean. The hostel is in a good location, right next to Central Park and a 7 min walk to the subway. Will definitely come back when I visit the big Apple again!!

部屋やベッドはとても綺麗で、日本のカプセルホテルといった趣きでとても快適だった。ニューヨークの宿は概ね高いが、この宿は非常にコストパフォーマンスに優れていると思う。ただ、各ブース内のUSBポートの状態が怪しく、そこは修繕して欲しい。

Everything was great from check-in to check-out. The bed was comfortable and the hostel is generally clean. Unfortunately, my room was SUPER warm and had no temperature control so I was basically sweating every night in the room and when you slide your capsule door open, it’s even worse

The only bad thing I have to say about Kama Central Park is that the top pods are ovens, especially if they're near the radiator in the room. Otherwise, this was the second nicest gostel I have ever stayed in!

The room and condition was good enough. Couple of minor problems - sound isolation is not good - if somebody slammed the door of wc, if has been heard in the room. The lockers were old and loud. Other things were ok.

Overall pretty nice. The pods are quite good for privacy, though the construction could be improved on. The main issue is size (I\'m 6\'3", while I could lay down flat, I was touching both ends), and the noise of the fan. The USB ports could probably also be tightened (they work, but are loose). However, that can be overlooked for the privacy it gives and the noise insulation from the other dormmates. Location is fantastic, a short walk away from the subway, and right next to Central Park. Food options nearby are also really good, with Mama\'s TOO (really good pizza) not far away, as well as Saiguette (tasty Banh Mi). Staff are also kind and helpful. Though I think if they had access to a list of recommendations/physical maps it\'d take it from a 9.5/10 to 10/10.

1st night was really hot in the pod and had to get a small towel and put cold water on it so i could fall asleep, 1 of the 2 colling fans was barely working. However night 2,3 and 4 were much cooler but i did have the cooling run all the time. The bed was comfortable and the luggage storage was free which i liked, the bagels and coffee was also a nice touch. Overall the experience was good apart from my towels going missing 2 days in a row so had to go to reception and ask for replacement ones

I was in a room with 2 pods, so I only had to share the room with one other person at a time, and the cohabitation always went well. The room is tiny, but there is a locker to store valuable items in (you have to bring your own lock). Every member of the staff I met was always friendly and helpful. My main complaint would be the noise: as others before me have already mentioned, the ventilation in the pods is very loud. Also, whenever the central heating was turned on, the pipes would make a huge banging sound on and off for hours in the middle of the night. The showers were clean and had hot water, but I found it a bit odd to have mirrors facing the shower doors, which were glazed but still too see-through in my opinion. It would also be nice to add hooks in the toilets and near the sinks. All in all, I felt safe, the hostel is in a nice neighborhood and right next to Central Park, the subway is a few minutes away. But make sure to bring ear plugs with you!

If you don't mind no lift this is a fabulous hostel. The pods are great. The staff give the joint personality and although the area is lacking shops the cafe is serving some great beverages and continental breakfast. Its just by Central Park, so tempting to walk it.

The staff made it easy from checking my bags to get me set up at check-in. I was fortunate to have respectful roommates. The pod was big enough to sit up straight inside which was a relief.

There is no elevator, the staff is unfriendly, the beds are very uncomfortable. I do not recommend staying here. For the price, there are better hostels in New York, such as Hi, New York, which is a few blocks away.

I always stay here when I come in over the bridge from Jersey for work. The staff is kind especially Haven. This time around I messes up my reservation and booked through the wrong days. Haven went out of her way to fix the booking and accommodate me. Most places would’ve turned me away. Forever appreciative. I also really love the pods even though they get a little stuffy. However the level of privacy trumps that every time.

I usually don’t like hostels but New York hotels were way out of budget. This hostel is the best I’ve ever been to, the staff were genuinely very chill and nice (especially Miguel), there’s privacy in the sleeping ‘pods’/beds, and it was very clean. The hostel is in a good location, right next to Central Park and a 7 min walk to the subway. Will definitely come back when I visit the big Apple again!!

It was literally right next to Central Park and by a subway line, so transportation was super easy. I always felt safe. Everyone was super quiet and friendly

Never been to a Hostel before but since New York is so expensive I had to stay in one. I had an amazing time here, really only used it t sleep but there is a lot to do around the area. Central Park is right next to it and so is Columbia University. Lots of places to eat if you walk a two blocks away from the place and even more places to eat if you walk two more blocks from it. Met a lot of cool people, many from different places of the world. My roommate was from Spain and it was awesome to speak to him. Place is great, staff is very nice and you can meet different people from around the world there. Don’t expect it to be a 5 star service, it is a Hostel, there isn’t a maid that makes your bed every day. Place is really just to sleep if you want to visit and explore New York. The pod has one pillow and a thin blanket so if you want something more you have to bring your own. It is definitely worth it for how expensive New York is. I stayed in a two pod bedroom spot just me and my roommate. There is a locker for you to put your belongings in. Bring a lock, if you forget to get a lock there is a 99 cent store right around block that you can buy one from. Great stay and a great place 4.8/5!

It might be one of the cheapest options in Manhattan but definitely far less than best bang for a buck. There is no way of charging your electronic devices inside the capsule unless you use regular usb type. The only way is the first floor lobby. No restaurants nearby; Had to walk for 10-15m to get to closest Chitpole and McDonal’s. If you don’t bring shorts and slippers it could be very inconvenient to go back and forth between restroom and your dorm room. I also found some snots dried up on the wall of my capsule

It is definitely worth its price. Finding a relatively low-priced place to stay overnight in New York City is very hard. Kama provides it. The space is clean and there is even a shower room. The bed was comfy, but the only two things that bothered me were the temperature inside your little capsule and the noise. You can turn on the fan but its too loud and it's going to be cold. The door is literally hard wood so you can hear everything outside. But it is worth the price which you also get a breakfast in the morning. Why Not!

Free coffee in the morning was a bonus. The only negative was the use of an overly scented cleaning product that is quite an assault to the senses! Thankful the window opened to air out the room.

If you don't mind no lift this is a fabulous hostel. The pods are great. The staff give the joint personality and although the area is lacking shops the cafe is serving some great beverages and continental breakfast. Its just by Central Park, so tempting to walk it.

The "included" breakfast was not at all a breakfast, but just some bagles, marmelade, and a cup of tea you can pick up in the basemant... All the doors in the hostel get stuck, and are difficult to open.. When I wanted to bring up my "breakfast" from the basement to the common room, I managed to spill all the scolding hot tea and marmelade all over myself, because of the bad condition of the doors and the inconvenience of the situation.

I really liked the fact that the place was in walking distance to Central Park and the hostel offered continental breakfast of coffee and bagels in the morning. The only downside was that my room was on a higher floor and had to constantly go down to the 1st floor to use the bathroom and the showers. Despite that everything else was great and commendable. Located in a quiet neighborhood too.

Overall a great experience. The pod was comfortable with amenities like a mirror, plug sockets and a towel. It was also quiet. I was surprised that I shared a room with a woman considering I booked a male room but neither of us seemed to mind. The free bagels and coffee in the morning was a bonus too. Good location to the subway and Central Park. I would return.

Inside the facility is too complex to find rooms, kitchen etc and they supposedly giving free breakfast which is only coffee and bagel without any condiments. Location is good, it's next to Central Park.

1st night was really hot in the pod and had to get a small towel and put cold water on it so i could fall asleep, 1 of the 2 colling fans was barely working. However night 2,3 and 4 were much cooler but i did have the cooling run all the time. The bed was comfortable and the luggage storage was free which i liked, the bagels and coffee was also a nice touch. Overall the experience was good apart from my towels going missing 2 days in a row so had to go to reception and ask for replacement ones
