This hotel was pretty clean but I experienced multiple issues that ruined my stay. There was no parking due to multiple trucks parking horizontally across several spaces, the phone in the room did not work, the elevator was malfunctioning, and the gym closed very early (unhelpful for those with non traditional hours). Hotels.com lists check out time as 12 pm but I believe check out is actually at 11 am. I realized this the next morning but had not been told otherwise by the staff upon checking in. I was charged $50 for what I believe is a late check out fee for leaving at 11:50 am. I even asked for a receipt when I was leaving to make sure I wasn’t getting charged and was told that they could not provide one. I have attempted to call the property to resolve the issue but no one answers the phone and there’s no way to leave a message.

The person that checked was great I ask for a late check out because my wife was in an accident earlier in the day in Gatlinburg and was injured broken wrist and a concussion. I had to drive from Gatlinburg to Knoxville late at night because we were supposed to home to NC early that day . She was discharged form the Emergency Department that night and every hotel in Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg was booked out. He told us we could check out by 1:00 PM . The next morning another hotel employee came by the room around 11:00 AM and knocked on the door and opened the door. I spoke with him he said we needed to be out before 12:00 and the desk attendant last night misspoke and what he told us he would not honor which greatly upset my wife . Very disappointed if one employee offered something the hotel should be respectful and honor that and train there employees better so everyone is on the same page.
