Pros -lobby, pool, weight room -Starbucks on site -close to shopping & conference centre -staff were friendly Cons -noisy - room was behind elevators, up to 50dB all night long from elevators moving up and down. Complained about it but they couldn’t move us. Room and location was fantastic. Amenities great. Loved the restaurant, pool, bar, cafes. Only issue was the lack of response regarding early check in. Arrived at 8.30am (My issue), but check in was 4pm. Emailed multiple times over a few days trying to get an earlier check in. No response. Would recommend this location though.

I prefer not to stay in Waikiki and this hotel is in a great location. The staff is good. Be aware that this place also has private residences. Their owners also rent on this app. It is not always clear if you are renting the hotel side or the private side. The owner of my unit didn't forward the reservation. Hotels.com quickly remedied the situation and booked me into the hotel side. Parking is not included and self parking is $35/day.

We rented through Expedia as a package deal. Upon checkin we were told by staff that this was third party and as such there would be no housekeeping, additional towels or any services provided to us. The facility is old and run down. There are 2 floors with laundry services but the laundry on floor 3 had broken down washers for the entire week stay. There is a large homeless population surrounding the facility and they just set up tents and pee all over the sidewalks. Oh and dont even think about using their phones- papers in the rooms say even local calls are charged at $0.75 each. Get real. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere!

Location is perfect for Attending Shinnyo Lantern Floating Hawaii. It’s an Easy walk to Magic Island/Ala Moana Beach. Ala Moana Center Mall, Hawaii Convention Center, and Don Quixote Super Market. It’s an enormous Hotel,60+ Years old and well maintained.

Housekeeping is not included unless you want to pay an additional fee...according to the reception desk. When I initially booked the room, the site states check-in was 3pm, but reception desk stated check-in was 4pm. Some sort of construction/renovations were happening 1 floor above - noisy! Thankfully, Expedia stepped in and resolved everything quickly without me even having to ask. That’s why I always book with them. The hotel’s location is excellent, right next to the mall, which was super convenient with a toddler. We also appreciated the buffet and on-site convenience store. Just be aware that parking is pricey — about $40 per night.

Had a good stay, but I have to say, needs a little bit of an update. Room felt clean but lamps by the beds were almost falling out of the wall. We love staying here though for a quick staycation! Bonus that Starbucks is literally downstairs in the lobby.

1901 is near the elevators, but the convenience of the short distance and some of the fastest elevators in existence outweigh the distraction of the elevator noise. This is our third time on the property, and we enjoy the convenience of the location to the center and nearby restaurants.

The hotel is good but the room we get has to many problems on the bathroom, The shower is very small and with very little water pressure it is very difficult to take showers, the sink was plugged and they took more the two days to fix it. we found out have cockroaches. The fridge was not working good. They don’t have service of recollection of garbage so we have to take care of it

We went to check in a little early & was told that this was a privately owned room. We were not allowed to check in till 3 pm. We waited. Then while checking in, we were told of ALL these added fees that were being applied. What a disappointment and very frustrating way to start our vacation. We couldn’t cxl the reservations because of more added another fees. Finally get our keys. Go to the bathroom, there is a big hair ball by the shower, the towel had moldly yellow brown & black stains on them. I tried to message & call the contact info numerous times. The number didn’t work & chat/msg told me someone will contact me with a few days. No one contacted us. Never got any new towels or any service. We left early and no response still. Very disappointed and appalled. Ala Moana Hotel couldn’t do anything about it because it was privately own. The staff has encountered too many complaints time & time again & would not like to endure that experience for the guests but there’s nothing they can do. Having privately owned rooms in a Hotel such as Ala Moana doesn’t make any scene.

There are extra fees you have to pay after booking the accommodation, such as a resort fee and check in fee. I booked this accommodation because I thought it’d be cheaper than other options. They also only provide a limited supply of toiletries and will charge you for toilet paper. Overall, people are better off booking through the actual Ala Moana Hotel because it comes out being the same price and you can get house keeping, etc.

Hotel fees include a daily charge for “hotel service fee” but when I call hotel for trash service or any maintenance, they said people who rent from Zello do not get access to hotel services. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, Expedia and Zello. Terrible. A lot of hidden fees. No toilet paper. You pay for extra towel and parking lot and resort fee. Definitely not coming back here.

Property was fine. It is an outside-managed unit at a condotel, so if you need anything besides check-in and parking, you would have to call outside managers, not the front desk.

The dishwasher did not work. The communication with the rental company, Zelloo, was horrendous - never responding to phone calls or to emails. I will be filing a complaint with the Attorney General's Office of Hawaii and with the Attorney General's Office in Florida as the company Zelloo does not have a broker license to operate in Hawaii. The refregirator stank as if something died in it.

Housekeeping is not included unless you want to pay an additional fee...according to the reception desk. When I initially booked the room, the site states check-in was 3pm, but reception desk stated check-in was 4pm. The rooms are in the hotel Ala Moana but the room is owned by Zelloo. The first day we got there, i let them know that the TV was not working and they said they will update me on when they will fix it, and no response regarding the TV after that. I messaged them that the toilet was clogged and no response from them. I had to go buy a plunger and unclog the toilet myself. We stayed there for 5 days and on day 2 we had no more clean towels left. I messaged them and was told to go to the pool and check them out from there but according to the hotel, towels from the pool need to be returned back to the pool. So i had to go buy towels to used for the remainder of my time there. The hotel was nice but the zelloo part was no help with issues or providing necessary supplies. Ran out of toilet paper on day 2 and i didnt even bother messaging since they did not help with anything. I just went and bought it myself. I would not recommend zelloo properties to any of my friends and i will never use them again in the future ever again. Lesson learned i guess.

The room was clean and better than we expected. A great view and we got to enjoy the fireworks show which was welcomed surprise! We enjoyed being able to walk to the mall which was so convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

1901 is near the elevators, but the convenience of the short distance and some of the fastest elevators in existence outweigh the distraction of the elevator noise. This is our third time on the property, and we enjoy the convenience of the location to the center and nearby restaurants.
