Location, location, location! In the heart of Lisbon, walkable 100% to anywhere in Lisbon and ticket office / train stations within steps for any excursions elsewhere. Wonderful VIP treatment from check-in through check out. Staff always on stand-by to assist with smiles, nice home base after a long day of sightseeing. Enjoyed the guest only sun deck to see the sunset every night with complementary glass of Portuguese spumante.

Great hotel in the middle of the prime tourism area in Lisboa. Perfectly located, nice rooms and amenities, wonderful and friendly staff. Brought a dog on this visit - super pet friendly. Will stay again for sure.

It was very convenient location, however no swimming pool in the hotel. breakfast and dining inside the hotel did not have variety of choices. Other than that we enjoyed our stay there, the staff was really nice

O site não dizia ser um quarto de fundos sem vista Nenhuma Sendo cliente Gold dos hotéis .com teria possibilidade de upgrade O hotel não está lotado havia muitos quartos vagos não foi concedido upgrade Para não fica num quarto para área interna do hotel e quarto que nada tem haver com um hotel 5 estrelas muito ruim Paguei um upgrade ! Mas mesmo assim o quarto apresentou vários problemas ! O carpete ou tapete no revestimento do quarto ,não estava bem limpo como como também antigo . O quarto muitíssimo pequeno . O colchão não confortável para ser um hotel 5 estrelas . O banheiro com uma mini bancada . Com banheira que mas parece um poço pois muita alta para entrar e sou alta . Toalha péssimas ! O pequeno almoço muito pobre para cinco estrelas quase inacreditável. A receção precisando de uma reforma Foi uma péssima experiência de final de ano .

I stayed this room did the amenities but the fitness facility was not even fitness center . It looks like the set up in your regular home basement . Room were very dark due to dark carpet that hides the stain and mold spots in the shower considering this is five star hotel , the mold is not acceptable.

We spent one night here before our flight home. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a corner room with several windows and the bathroom was quite large. Everything was very clean. The area immediately around the hotel was quite busy as it is a heavy tourist area but at night it was quiet and the room had black out shades (that lowered electronically!) I'm sorry we didn't get to spend more time as it is a lovely property.

Great hotel. Everyone was so nice! Rooms were great, shower and bath were also amazing. Black out blinds are amazing at helping with jet lag. Can hear a bit of noise from the hall in the morning but night time was quiet. Great location, would definitely stay again!

This hotel was very dark. The rooms were so small, the beds were 2 small beds stuck to each other (I.e. you can fall through the middle), dark glass everywhere I’ve never felt so claustrophobic in any hotel. They need to redo the rooms and add more light and lighter colors. The room had black everywhere. Even with the window open and blinds pulled it was dark.

Great hotel in a fantastic area. The room felt extra small (usually only see that small of a place in Manhattan). There were great amenities though (robes, great toiletries). The view from the top is better than the one from the Elevador de Santa Justa.

We loved the location. The main attractions are either within walking distance or easily reached by public transport. 24 hour unlimited tickets are available very close to the hotel\'s main entrance at the main line or Metro stations. We never felt the need to use taxis. Breakfast in the rooftop restaurant was varied and good but could get a little repetitive if staying for more than a few days [we stayed for 7]. Inside and outside tables are available. Check out the seagull that patrols the perimeter handrail each morning hoping to be fed. All of the staff are really friendly. Unlimited bottled water is available free of charge, just ask. The satellite TV has a number of English speaking channels, great for films etc. Our bathroom had the best and strongest shower that we have encountered in Europe to date. We can\'t comment on the hotel\'s other amenities as we were in Lisbon primarily to see the sights so were out and about for most of the day/evening. Very few minor negatives: We thought our superior double room was a little on the small size, likewise the bathroom. The "double bed" wasn\'t, it was 2 singles bolted together. I\'ve not sampled the delights of a single bed since my unmarried teenage years. Housekeeping staff could have been a little more generous with the number of milk and coffee pods left in the room each day. Overall, we were pleased with our choice of hotel in Lisbon and would stay at the Altis Avenida again.

Hats off to everyone at Altis for going above and beyond in making my first time at Altis not the last. Everyone was kind, friendly and genuine! I cannot say enuf praise for the front desk/reception/concierge and super sweet housekeeping. Altis must be doing something right as you could feel the crew giving their best, Bravo Altis!! I will return and spread the good word! much gratitude 🙏

This hotel falls far short of the exceptional standards I've experienced at 5-star establishments. In fact, it stands out as one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I've ever had. A particularly distressing incident occurred one afternoon when my girlfriend and I were returning to the hotel. To our dismay, we were abruptly accosted by a staff member who not only questioned us but also attempted to block our access to the elevator leading to our room. The sheer audacity of this encounter, from the employee's facial expressions to their choice of words, was not only subpar but also wholly uncalled for, bordering on disgraceful. This singular incident left a stain on an otherwise unremarkable stay.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in . The staff is the best part of the hotel . Customer service is brilliant . Spent my 10 year wedding anniversary here and it was the best decision, we had an amazing experience. I highly recommend. I want to specially thank the manager Frederico Vidal, he was amazing ! Helped us navigate our way around Lisbon !! 5 star !

If I could have given 10 stars that is how I would rate my husband and I stay. The best service I think I have ever experienced- very attentive and I felt very pampered. Great safe location with plenty of shopping and good restaurants. I recommend springing for the breakfast the Hotel offers, it was amazing!

The hotel is very well placed if you want ti make the most out of a short stay in Lisbon. It’s very family friendly. Everything was ideal except for the food. Make sure you don’t order room service, it’s terrible.

This is my second stay at this hotel in a few years. Everything was wonderful. Could not have been better. The staff was very concerned with our comfort and satisfaction. You could tell they honestly wanted us to have a great experience. I will stay at the Altis Avenida again the next time I am lucky enough to visit Lisbon. A sincere thank you to all the staff that made our stay wonderful. Obrigada!

Altis Avenida Hotel was in the heart of the city. I was able to walk to a plethora of restaurants and other sightseeing activities. I also did all of my souvenir shopping diwn the street. Even the grocery store is less than a 5 minute walk. And the staff is exceptional. From the moment we stepped foot in the hotel, they welcomed us with warm greetings. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Expensive - but perfect location for wandering downtown Lisbon & travelling further for day trips eg Sintra. Classy hotel. Very clean & comfortable. Unpretentious. Lovely decor. WiFi was fantastic. Only negative: knock on door days 2, 3;4 in 3 night stay, for me was very annoying. 3rd night to check all was well & offer chocolate - that could/should have been left on bed as 2nd night (much appreciated). When assistance was required (TV) electrician arrived immediately and issue was resolved perfectly. Would definitely return.

This was a perfect stay at a perfect hotel! Everything was amazing: the breakfast fresh, varied and massive, the bed super comfortable, the bathroom spotlessly clean and fully equipped, the staff beyond polite & helpful (thank you Renato for the lunch suggestion, and thank you Rui for doing your best to upgrade us). The gastropub on the 7th floor was a gem. The view was breathtaking and the cocktails & food were all top notch. Both nights we went up there. The location is also very good as it is only a short walk from the historic centre, 15mins max to the river, and most importantly is in a flat area, not a hilly one, which made our walks with my 75 year old mum easy and enjoyable. I could not fault this hotel. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Ιδανική θέση για πρόσβαση σε όλα τα αξιοθέατα Λισαβώνας και Σίντρας. Πολύ φιλικό και εξυπηρετικό προσωπικό. Καταπληκτικό πρωινό κυρίως για την ποιότητα των προϊόντων αλλά και την ποικιλία!

The staff is very accommodating. The overall hotel is extremely beautiful clean, and the views are impeccable. The breakfast was delicious lots of varieties and again enjoying breakfast on the sun deck overlooking all of Lisbon is magnificent.

Great hotel in a good location. Beautiful balcony room on the 6th floor. Breakfast was delicious excellent choice on the buffet and good service. Friendly staff all around. The price was a bit high however.

I had a conference on the north end of town where there wasn't a lot going on, so I chose to stay here. I figured it'd be right at the end of the most walkable parts of the city but still easy to get out in the morning. That basically worked - only lesson was from the first day: just walk a block or two north for a pickup so there's zero chance the driver takes you into the most congested parts (my destination was metro friendly but the hotel is for sure). It was a very nice property and met all my needs as a solo work traveler. I didn't go up to the roof lounge until the last night, which I enjoyed and regretted not going sooner. This is super walkable to the most active areas but also easy to jet out of the area which was the goal.

The staff at the Altis Avenida went over and above to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Rooms are impecably appointed and well-maintained. Super clean. Lovely bath products and luxurious towels. Breakfasts were amazing and the staff very attentive (coffee was amazing!). The rooftop bar offered a wide variety of wines, spirits, and cocktails with 360 panoramic views of Lisbon. Highly recommend!

Hotel was clean, quiet, comfortable and walking distance to restaurants and the Main Street for shopping, The hotel rooftop bar and restaurant had the best views of the city and the ocean, The food was delicious and Saturdays they have a fantastic DJ. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and even room service. The bathroom towel heater was a great bonus to catch up on laundry and having it dry quickly. Have lunch at Bon Jardin one block away for the best rotisserie chicken ever… the line is long but worth it! Enjoy this beautiful hotel. It was a Department Store in a prior life.
