Scandic Oslo Airport

The property is five minutes from the airport via shuttle. The shuttle runs every 30 minutes so if you have a layover with an early start, this is great. There is also a convenience store next to the front desk if you want to grab snacks on the go. And Bar is great and vibe is nice.

Hyggelig folk i resepsjon, men kunne gjerne vært informert om hvordan lading av el bil foregikk. Visste ikke noe om dette, slitsomt da vi kom på natt og måtte lade bil. Fant det ut selv ila natta.

Very convenient to the airport for our late arrival after driving down from Trondheim via Røros and our early departure to Iceland. Breakfast is available beginning at 0400 and is a classic Scandinavian "bread" spread of breads, cheeses, meats, cereals, fresh fruit, beverages, salmon, herring, etc. Had to pay for parking which is offset by the room rate, which made our stay a great value.

Rimelig parkering, 100kr pr døgn er ikke ille. Grei frokost, grei middag. Kort vei til flyplassen.

Hotel was good comfortable and easy access. It should’ve been free parking for guest , but that’s OK.

Det som overrasket meg var at vi var nødt til å betale for parkering, det er dårlig og betale ekstra for frokost. Dette burde være inkl.

Stort upersonlig hotell. Synd det ikke er gratis shuttlebuss til flyplassen. Frokost er ok. Men ikke noe spesielt. Personalet er vennlige og løsningsorienterte. Stille. Bar stenger 2330 lørdag?!

Good sized room for a family of 4, very near the airport and my son really enjoyed the bouncy castle in the children's room!

Har bodd på dette hotellet ved flere anledninger i forbindelse med reise. Det er et familievennlig hotell med flere aktiviteter for barna.

Mye hår på badet og rommet, det står på siden til hotellet at det er transport til og fra flyplass døgnet rundt, men dette stemte ikke. Parkering var dyrere enn det står på siden. Ikke veldig blid hun som møtte oss i resepsjonen.

Friendly and knowledgeable front desk staff made us feel very welcome as soon as we walked into the lobby. Our room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for our final night in Oslo before an early flight home. No need to pay double the price for a hotel at the terminal if you’re happy to take a short bus ride! We took a bus from the terminal to Lilleplassen, from which the hotel is a very short walk (<0.8 km/<0.5 miles). To get back to the airport in the morning, we took a different bus that picked us up right from the hotel - slight premium on ticket prices but for the additional convenience of not needing to walk to Lilleplassen in the morning, and the slightly more frequent busses at that time in the morning, it was worth it. If you’re travelling light, walking to the terminal would also be easy.

Familie på 4, med familierom. Ankom hotellet kl 01.30, og hadde ved to anledninger i forkant etterspurt reiseseng. Ved innsjekk, bekreftet vedkommende at alt skulle være på plass, men det var det altså ikke. Med tanke på klokkeslett og trøtte barn lot vi den gå, vi dyttet senga inntil underkøya slik at ikke 2-åringen skulle falle ut, noe som fungerte greit da vi polstret i overkant med puter og håndklær. Neste morgen, da 5-åringen våknet, viste hun meg en hvit bukse hun hadde funnet i overkøya der hvor hun lå, gjenglemt fra (forhåpentligvis) forrige gjest, så stusser veldig over renholdet. Utover dette var de ansatte i respesjonen hyggelige, ingenting å utsette på dem.

Room were disgusting ,bathroom smells very bad from the drain were not able to sleep whole night , only 2 star because of the reception staff is good and welcoming Even breakfast staff was nice

Hotel was very clean and perfect for our short 1 night stay. We enjoyed the choice at breakfast, it was a great buffet with lots of options! Would definitely stay again :)

Room was clean and comfortable.. Breakfastv was amazing

We stayed for one night, there was a weird smell in the hotel. Rooms are tiny, we had a family room, where a double and a bunk beds for the kids.

This hotel property is a nice, convenient location if passing through Oslo Airport. The area is quiet, the hotel facilities are nice, well kept and clean. The rooms are on the small side, but fairly efficient. We are a family of 4 and the room had two fold down bunk type beds on the wall, which allowed us to get by with one room and keep costs down. The included morning buffet breakfast is rather impressive, and we were pleasantly surprised. We don’t typically eat hotel breakfast, as processed cereals and toast aren’t our thing, but this place more than satisfied us in this regard. Note: getting to/from the airport requires VY bus transport and which as 80 NOK (~$8US) per person, which seemed rather expensive for the 2 mile drive. Also of NOTE: This is a Flight Museum walking distance from the hotel and if you have time to kill it is well worth seeing if you are at all into this kind of thing. Great history on the Norwegian Air force and WW I & II. This isn’t what we are typically interested in, but we all found it fascinating. Check the days and hours of operation before walking over. There is a cost for entry, I think it was about $24/US for a family of 4.

Too costly for the shuttle from and return the Oslo airport, each way changing K$80. Room is very basic, not even have the water kettle in the room.

Små vinduer som manglet utsikt. Glassdør som dmalt igjen og ikke holdt seg oppe så det klirret. Manglende behagelig sittestol på rommet. Var bare en pinnestol og en puff å sitte på foruten senga. Svarte lampeskjermer på leselyset var også en utfordring når man skulle lese.

I travel frequently to Oslo and normally I choose the Radisson blue which is a short walk from the main terminal. This time I decided to go with the scandal and I have to say the hotel more than met my expectations. The restaurant was good. They have a small bar area and an outdoor seating area that I thoroughly enjoyed. The room is exactly what you would expect from the Scandic chain. It was clean and relatively well appointed. I could’ve used a couple of extra pillows in the room, and the only detractor was that I could not control the temperature in the room as it seemed to be set centrally and it was relatively warm outside, so the room felt a little stuffy. For a hotel with this proximity to the runway, I will say that the noise levels were manageable, and in fact with the windows closed, the room was incredibly quiet. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Hyggelige ansatte, rent og pent rom. Lettvint med parkering om man skal utenlands. Bare positivt med unntak av én ting. Det er ekstremt lytt. Når folk går på gangen og prater lavt høres det ut som de er inne på rommet.

Family room - big comfy bed, but bunk beds are hard. The soft chair is very comfy. Good breakfast, try tue energy juices/drinks.

The room was a little too hot for sleeping

All but comfort was great. The room was as cold as a mausoleum. Request for more heat was not answered.

Service var langt under middels. Ingen vilje til å hjelpe ved innsjekk og ble oversett i lang tid. Null interesse i å hjelpe da vi hadde sykt barn med oss. Familierom var helt ok men trangt.

Great location for the airport. Shuttle was easy to find. Very nice staff. Very clean and comfy.

Vi skulle overnatte før tidlig flyavgang. Meget praktisk til dette. Shuttlebuss hver halvtime og god early bird frokost gjorde reisen enkel og komfortabelt. Underbemanning i resepsjonen når det kom en buss med nye gjester gjorde innsjekking irriterende treg. Forhåpentligvis et unntak.

Rommet var greit, men tok veldig lang tid å sjekke inn (kun en ansatt i resepsjonen og mange som kom med flybussen på en gang). Restauranten var veldig skuffende.

The woman at the check in counter was very respectful and friendly and helped with numerous questions and logistic issues when we first arrived in Norway. She was knowledgeable about the things we needed help with and very kind and friendly.

The front desk staff are dishonest ! Gerald assured me that the mixup in my rooms were sorted out ! He told me that the room for the second night was complimentary since there was a mix up ! Then he leaves on vacation and leaves a note to the front desk to charge me for the second night ! I had to leave for my flight and the front desk girl assured me that she will not charge my card until Gerald was spoken to and a manager had called me ! When I left she turned around and charged my card ! Very dishonest and lying staff ! I would like a manager to call me to discuss this matter !

Great stay near the airport. We were able to leave our large luggage there for a few days after our stay when we traveled to Svalbard and didn’t want to bring the large luggage. They also offer day-use rooms for around the same price as a nightly stay which we took advantage of during a long layover after our Svalbard trip. Early breakfast had a decent selection of food, and dinner was great too. They don’t have anything for lunch besides a convenience store and there isn’t much else in the area, so the location isn’t the best other than for being near the airport. One-way shuttle between airport and hotel is 80 NOK per person, while UberX is around 130 NOK.

Incredibly close to the airport with a bus shuttle taking you to and from the airport. They even have their own dining services too. Really friendly and helpful front desk as well.

Hadde med et barn, hotellet hadde ikke reid opp til barnet(manglet sengklær og håndduk). Var først klart kl 22, noe som er kritikkverdig. Bra frokost. Buffé på kvelden var elendig, dårlig utvalg og kald mat.

The room was fine. Clean and the beds were nice. Staff was polite and helpful. Don’t recommend the restaurant! My daughter had steak and it was not good. I and my other daughter had the buffet and it was the same quality as canteen or school lunch. Cheap food for high price. Dine before you arrive!
