Room was nice, water was hot. TV did not work but we were not there to watch TV. "Hot Tub" mentioned in the VRBO was at a sister site a few blocks away. So prepare. Good Ice Machine. Friendly Staff. Convenient to Frenchman. I would stay there again.

Cute little room in historic building. Clean, Quiet and close to everything. Parking lot P409 a few short blocks away for $25 overnight was perfect. Front desk guy was very friendly. Don’t know why they show a hot tub on website but there is not one. Will definitely go back. If your used to big modern hotel stick with that, your probably to picky for this “small, rundown” piece of history.

Room was quaint. Staff was friendly. Comfy bed. Kurieg coffee pot with k-cups provided in room. Location was excellent!! Within walking distance of everything in the French Quarter. The only downfall is no parking. We had to park several blocks away and carry our luggage, etc., back to hotel. We were lucky to find street parking for free.

This was a great old timey little place. Not much for amenities as stated in the ad, but if you’re just looking for a place to sleep in a great location this is it. Clean room but no refrigerator or microwave, we brought a small cooler. Little CStore just down the street for anything you might need. The pool and hot tub are about a 6-7 min walk depending how fast you walk at their sister property Lamont House. We also the $20 per night gated parking behind that property as street parking is almost non-existent. Would stay again

Check in and seevice was great - very friendly and helpful. Excellent location close to French Quarter but also far enough away for some peaceful rest. Only complaints are that the door to our room was not fitted well, and as a result the very bright exterior light on the landing by our door essentially kept our room nearly fully lit entire first night of stay. Next 2 nights we stuffed the top bed sheet all around the frame, which blocked light enough so we could sleep. 100% understand light needed to stay on gor security but the poorly fitted door just let in too much light. Other issue is that we chose this hotel partially due to it showing as having a hot tub on hotels.com. Upon check in- this facility has no hot tub at all, so not sure why it is being advertised as such. Would recommend due to great service and location.

The Inn on Ursulines claims they have a hot tub. They do not. All of the booking sites I explored showed pictures of a hot tub for this hotel. I chose this hotel based on location and that there was a hot tub. When I arrived , I was looking forward to and frankly needed a hot tub soak. When I asked where is hot tub, They said, “Oh, it exploded.” Not a great answer since there was no evidence of where the hot tub had been. I was very disappointed. This hotel is still showing pictures on web site of a hot tub that does not exist. Lesson learned, I cannot trust your advertising and next time before I book a hotel, I will need to contact the hotel directly and verify facilities. Defeats the purpose of even using a secondary booking site. Questioning the listings on your platform and disappointed with the Inn on Ursulines.

It\'s a cute boutique hotel located towards the "quieter" side of the French Quarter. Just a 2 1/2 block walk from Lafitte\'s Blacksmith Shop on Bourbon and about 4 blocks from the French Market. IF YOU MUST DRIVE (and I highly recommend a taxi or Uber/Lyft even if you are local): a) there is no passenger unloading zone so you will be partially blocking the street as you check-in and unload. Fellow drivers who can\'t fit down the street will just have to wait and deal with it and b) designated parking is 5 blocks away in a secured lot. There is no valet service or a ride back to the hotel. Parking was $140 for the 2 night stay we were there. If you are handicapped, have a lot of heavy bags, or don\'t do stairs very well...the stairs to the 2nd floor rooms are steep and narrow. There is no elevator. Also, bring extension cords and multi-plugs with you to charge cell phones because in our 2 queen room with 3 people, there were only 2 plugs in the bedroom available that were being shared with a lamp and the coffee maker.

It was surprisingly quiet for a room in the Quarter. Very clean and the king size bed was so comfortable I wanted to take it with me! Check in was very easy which is a big thing for me. We arrived at 7:30 pm. No one at the front desk, lobby was locked, no one answered the phone, no sign saying back in X minutes. Took 10 min or so before someone entered the office to help. Room was clean, bed is comfy. The shower was tiny. Quiet area. It was decent enough, but I doubt I'd be back.

Loved this location! You can walk to everything, and we had no issues during our stay. The hotel is just what you need…clean, quiet, safe, WiFi, and great walking ability. We will definitely book her again in the future.

It is old historic buildings, so it comes with all the issues you\'d possibly expect - it was humid the entire time and smelled like mildew, my belongings all came home smelling of it. There were lots of repair items needed in the room I stayed in, the AC made an ungodly noise that I didn\'t realize until I\'d completely unpacked and didn\'t want to repack to move, however had I realized how disruptive it would actually be in hindsight I would have asked to be moved. The floors were coming up in several places, and the shower was incredibly small - like a 30"x30" shower. To wash my hair i had to hang outside the shower to I could put my hands above my head. The photos of the hotel also don\'t reflect it\'s current appearance. There is no jacuzzi in the courtyard, and it doesn\'t appear there ever was one, I definitely feel like that might have been photo shopped. The front desk did tell us they have a sister property with those amenities, but that photo should be removed from the listing, it\'s misleading. There are also no flowers, potted plants, or lattice anywhere to be found in the courtyard, so the ambiance in the photos is not the experience you will get on arrival. The listing also mentions no elevator and only street parking, so you will have to unload on the street and then move to off site parking that is about 4 blocks away as there was never once street parking available. It is a very walkable area close to Bourbon St and other restaurants and shops.

Excellent location, friendly staff, clean, safe and so much historic charm. After much research searching for the best location, we went in with this lovely hotel and we were not disappointed, this location is unbeatable! Highly recommended!

The air conditioner dripped water onto the floor the entire stay. Despite immediately reporting the problem, they did not repair it. The constant dripping noise and dealing with water on the floor was terrible. Otherwise, the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. They would get alot better review had they taken care of the maintenance issues.

The good: the location was amazing, right at one quiet end of bourbon street. The courtyard and the room had such a cute, vintage vibe. The bad: giant rats in the courtyard, giant cockroach in the room, and mildew-smelling bedding. What to improve: We arrived around 9pm when the staff had left for the day. We had to call a number on the door multiple times before getting an answer and instructions to download an app to unlock the door. I think the welcome text sent at 4pm could have included check-in and WiFi information too.

AC and restroom were not working properly. Bed sheets were dirty. Office staff leaves early. No locker for luggages. They let your luggages at the front desk with no one to take care about them. Everyone from the hotel can go with their cards in this office…

This is an older charming hotel on the quiet end of the French Quarter- it was clean, a great value for the price. We had a room that had no window, so be specific as to the type of room you want. There are very narrow stairs to the upstairs rooms so if that’s an issue- don’t pick those.

The area was great; convenient to everything. The only downfall was that there was no refrigerator in the room. We stayed street side and there was nowhere to sit except on the stoop. Other than that, it was awesome. We enjoyed our stay.

This was a girls weekend getaway and we were pleasantly surprised with our room. It is a sweet quaint room with a lot of character. The staff was over the top accommodating and so helpful ! We were able to check in a little early and leave our bags at check out for last minute city exploration. The room was spacious. The only things that were a little less than what we expected were :the shower was small so it was a little hard to move around in it and the coffee maker did not have a plug near it. There was hot coffee made fresh each morning in the lobby though. This location is so close to everything. We will definitely book another stay here. We had room 21 and our friend had room 4.

The hotel was nice, clean, and comfortable. Recently updated bathrooms and furnishings. But, if you’re a light sleeper, do not accept room 501 or 502 (opens to street/sidewalk) The late night/early morning traffic and people just outside your door will keep you awake.

It was a charming, slightly funky, older hotel in a great location in the French Quarter. Beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. Not enough electrical outlets. Would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues.

Not for those who want a Hampton experience but we loved it. Our only complaint was some 1am chatting in the courtyard that disturbed our sleep. Coffeemaker available - our King bed room was very clean and comfortable. No fridge but we brought a cooler. Pay parking is a few blocks away but there is also some street parking.

Check in was easy contrary to some of the other reviews I read. I called ahead and a man was outside when we pulled up. We parked on the street which was okay for our weekday stay. We got two King rooms. The man who checked us in recommended that we take room #5 as it’s quieter and away from the courtyard. We checked out my son’s room (#22). It was small but comfortable. He had bad WiFi connection (he’s a gamer) but a HotSpot connection fixed that. His Xbox wouldn’t reach the tv so he used an extension cord. Our room was a little bigger than his, but was VERY HOT. I turned the AC on but realized that the AC cuts off if the door stays open more than 5 seconds. Also, could not turn the ceiling fan on and turn off the light that’s attached to the fan. On night one this was not a problem. The seat of the toilet looked like someone had vomited something red and they tried to clean it without bleach. Either way, we were too tired from the 6 hour drive to complain so we didn’t make a fuss. On night two, at almost 2 AM I heard the AC cut off and realized I couldn’t turn it back on. My husband was too tired and it hasn’t gotten hot so he just said let’s wait. But by 5 AM was now almost 90 degrees in the room. I called the front desk and the Inn on St. Ann… no answer. I finally reached someone at their other sister property who brought us a small, rusty fan.. no other rooms were available. Maintenance not available till 9 AM. We checked out EARLY at 6 AM HOT and very MAD.

Greg at the front desk is excellent. And the other folks also super friendly and warm. It’s a very small place and has been around since the 1700… it’s age shows tho of course it’s all been renovated. Perfectly located and comfortable. No in-room fridge or microwave, but there are two delis a block away for emergency food needs.

We arrived at 7:30 pm. No one at the front desk, lobby was locked, no one answered the phone, no sign saying back in X minutes. Took 10 min or so before someone entered the office to help. Room was clean, bed is comfy. The shower was tiny. Quiet area. It was decent enough, but I doubt I'd be back.

I have never stayed in a facility where there was no person at the front desk after around 7:00. There was a phone # to call and she showed up in 6 minutes and was ready to help. We enjoyed our stay. It has a small courtyard that is a great place to sit and rest after walking in the French quarter all day. If you have others in your group it would be a great place to gather before the next adventure out.

I received an email only a few days before our stay that they no longer staff the Inn. We did their digital key but got locked out of our room and the hotel multiple times as well as other guests. We had to drive to another hotel to let a physical key but when we got there the one staff person was actually at another hotel and we had to wait for her to walk back. The poor lady seemed over worked. I received an email that we would get reduced parking but it was still $40. The hotel couldn’t even give me an address to their parking lot and the directions there weren’t very good. It took us well over an hour to to get all checked in and in our room. I spoke with the manager on the phone and she was very rude. I would not recommend this place at all. Also the Inn needs renovations the railing for the stairs is about to come off, I would not recommend putting any weight on it. Our light switches wouldn’t work it got stuck on the on position.

Really good location. Only a few minutes from both Bourbon and Royal Street. Quiet area and felt very safe. Very, very odd night manager made us feel a bit uncomfortable on arrival and not particularly helpful. Also took us ages to get in on arrival as reception not manned!!! Would have been helpful to have had a bit more information and been given the maps that we then found toward the end of our stay. Basic rooms but clean. Really comfy bed. The safe was in the most ridiculous place and not useable!!! Bathroom definitely a bit of updating. Not sure what the cleaner did all week apart from change towels.

This was such a cool find! My husband and I got in at 3pm and we’re able to just parallel park outside the place (which I did not plan for in the French quarter). The outside is rather unassuming, but then you’re invited into the Parisian courtyard, and there are about 20 rooms that stay fairly quiet despite being a block from Royal street. Room was beautifully renovated with high ceilings and a nice bathroom. The AC worked well but was dripping a bit due to humidity (probably more of an issue for them than for us). Highly recommend for anyone staying in old New Orleans.

My wife had a great time at the Inn on Ursulines. The room was large, the bathroom was good, and we were close to everything. Since it is on Ursuline street between Royale and Bourbon streets, you are close to Jackson Square, the riverfront, and everything that is in the French Quarter. It is also a short walk to Frenchman Street. You do have to park away from the property but it is gated and not that far. I would definitely come back h to the Inn on Ursulines again.

Room had recently been totally renovated and was in excellent condition. Given the unavailability of restaurant facilities a small fridge in the room would have been good. Also a desk of some sort. One had the impression or perhaps the hope it was a work in progress. Outside courtyard really nice for a quiet drink. Great location

This was a girls weekend getaway and we were pleasantly surprised with our room. It is a sweet quaint room with a lot of character. The staff was over the top accommodating and so helpful ! We were able to check in a little early and leave our bags at check out for last minute city exploration. The room was spacious. The only things that were a little less than what we expected were :the shower was small so it was a little hard to move around in it and the coffee maker did not have a plug near it. There was hot coffee made fresh each morning in the lobby though. This location is so close to everything. We will definitely book another stay here. We had room 21 and our friend had room 4.

It\'s a cute boutique hotel located towards the "quieter" side of the French Quarter. Just a 2 1/2 block walk from Lafitte\'s Blacksmith Shop on Bourbon and about 4 blocks from the French Market. IF YOU MUST DRIVE (and I highly recommend a taxi or Uber/Lyft even if you are local): a) there is no passenger unloading zone so you will be partially blocking the street as you check-in and unload. Fellow drivers who can\'t fit down the street will just have to wait and deal with it and b) designated parking is 5 blocks away in a secured lot. There is no valet service or a ride back to the hotel. Parking was $140 for the 2 night stay we were there. If you are handicapped, have a lot of heavy bags, or don\'t do stairs very well...the stairs to the 2nd floor rooms are steep and narrow. There is no elevator. Also, bring extension cords and multi-plugs with you to charge cell phones because in our 2 queen room with 3 people, there were only 2 plugs in the bedroom available that were being shared with a lamp and the coffee maker.

The room was very clean, stayed for three nights. Service came in everyday to tidy up. NO ONE ON SITE. Arriving after my plane ride covering over eight hundred miles, there's a lobby lit up but a sign on the door saying no one was working the lobby. I had to call the phone number listed for someone to come by. They did, I had to download an app to unlock the door. They provided me with a key, but it only locked the outer gate. Make sure your phone is always charged or you'll run the risk of being locked out. I got the king size room which was good, HOWEVER the water pressure in the bathroom sink was very low. Functional but barely. The shower was SMALL, I couldn't raise my elbows to shoulders before hitting the sides. Also with poor water pressure. There was a hatch in the ceiling with a loose plywood, I was told it was for roof access for maintenance. It creeped me out, but I've probably seen too many horror films, lol. Please note the rooms have NO FRIDGE OR MICROWAVES. So, no heating up leftovers. Staff was very attentive, though. And the location a block from Bourbon Street and three blocks from the French Quarter. So, if you'd like a different kind of stay, recommended.

I had to call the phone number listed for someone to come by. They did, I had to download an app to unlock the door. They provided me with a key, but it only locked the outer gate. Make sure your phone is always charged or you'll run the risk of being locked out. I got the king size room which was good, HOWEVER the water pressure in the bathroom sink was very low. Functional but barely. The shower was SMALL, I couldn't raise my elbows to shoulders before hitting the sides. Also with poor water pressure. There was a hatch in the ceiling with a loose plywood, I was told it was for roof access for maintenance. It creeped me out, but I've probably seen too many horror films, lol. Please note the rooms have NO FRIDGE OR MICROWAVES. So, no heating up leftovers. Staff was very attentive, though. And the location a block from Bourbon Street and three blocks from the French Quarter. So, if you'd like a different kind of stay, recommended.
