White Oaks is a Roadside Motel. But I got what I expected, so I was happy. Quick check-in and check-out. All the rooms have their doors leading outside with your vehicle steps away. Super convenient for luggage and keeping an eye on the vehicle. Super quiet when I was there. Nothing I saw within walking distance. Everything pretty clean. TV offered lots of premium channels like HBO and SHO. Working small fridge and microwave. You can control thermostat. It was cold in room when I arrived, but turned up thermostat and quickly warmed up. No complaints at all.

I love these fifties motels because you park directly in front of your room door as opposed to newer style hotels where you park in the parking lot, walk to the front entrance, go up the elevator and down a hall to your room. This particular hotel is clean as a whistle, has been updated and renovated. The owner has redone the outside and the inside and has selected better quality accesories inside including the bed and pillows. The pillows are firm and full size unlike other hotels where they are flat from age. We stayed two nights and were very pleased with our single queen bed. The room is not oversized but comfortable. Everyting worked. I will stay again if I am in that area.

This is an old motel that has been refurbished into excellent condition. It's like an old style roadside motel from the 70s, but updated. Clean room, friendly helpful staff, clean and comfortable room. The morning after our stay I looked in the parking lot at the cars. Looked like average middle class cars. Everything that could be made modern was done. Had wifi and cable TV. Would stay again. No breakfast offered but several fast food places nearby.

I was unsure when booking this overnight stay. But once we arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly. The location was very easily accessible and there were a lot of food options nearby. The parking lot and the room were extremely clean and well lit. I would definitely stay here again if passing through the area.

Travelers who are looking for a clean, safe, affordable place to stay, and aren't much interested in frills, should find this establishment to their liking. People who want a swimming pool, exercise room and free breakfast should look elsewhere and pay more for those amenities. This is a unique place. It's old and worn but not squalid. The room had a refrigerator (with a working freezer), small microwave, TV, comfortable bed and pillows, modern bathroom (with a working fan), in-room coffee maker. It seemed to be family business, and the man I dealt with was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and neat. The town nearby has everything a person might need, including a nice park with a sizable paved walking path, and a scenic view of the lower Delaware River and the big twin bridges going over it. The motel is very close to I-295 for easy access but far enough away that noise wasn't a factor. This was my second time staying at this motel and I'll gladly stay there again next time I'm in the neighborhood.

Even at $91 for the night, it was overpriced for what it offered. It's a good place to just get some sleep, but there are zero amenities. Even the vending machines were lacking--the pop machine was completely empty, so I put in two one-dollar bills and got back 8 quarters (eye roll). The snack vending machine had only 4 items to choose from (all Cheetos). The key card didn't work at first, so I had to drive back over to the office to get it fixed. Normally I would say "you get what you pay for," but this was a little less. Convenient location, though.

Good location from highway. Room and bathroom clean. Only negative -towel were-a wash cloth & hand towel only in bathroom per person no bath towels. Great value definitely would stay there again.

Rooms were clean and easily accessible with parking right in front of the room. Hotel is behind a semi truck parking lot. There is no access to food and only an outdoor beverage vending machine but there are fast food restaurants a short drive away. Good hotel if you are just planning on using it for resting at night and not a staycation in the room.

Overall fine stay, you get what you expect with the room. The windows were kind nasty with grime and spiderwebs all over on the inside, but I didn’t care as it doesn’t take away from the main point which is sleeping. The beds were clean and comfortable. Great A/C in the rooms, bathroom was clean as well. Check in was easy, as well as check out. I would stay again if I am in the area again, just be careful of one of the entrances as the potholes are horrendous, and I’m not exaggerating. Please be cautious or use the other entrance.

Very simple but adequate….but housekeeping isn’t great. Hair in bathroom & one bed. They were very apologetic and gave us another room. The beds were clean but hair in bathroom and round sink. Cleaned with my own Clorox wipes.

This is clearly a renovated old style motel. They have done a fabulous job with it. It is sparkly clean and looks very nice. The beds are comfortable. You can tell that the owners care about guest comfort.

I stayed here because of the very positive reviews I had read, and I was not disappointed. For me, the only negative was the very bright overhead lights. I would have liked a lamp or a low-light option, especially in bathroom (bright light and a fan running at the same time are not desirable for nighttime trips. My eyes are very sensitive to bright light, so that is why I mention it).

Old styled motel that has been well kept up and is quite clean. Management was very friendly. Located a bit off the beaten path so not overcrowded. In all, a good place to stay for the $ value. We go to Pennsville 3-5 times a year; this is our new choice for lodging there.

Entrance to the property is an unmarked pothole-filled dirt road more suited for off-road vehicles. The street sign is misplaced. The manager, Patel was uncommunicative and did not want to give his name, initially. The rooms are deceivingly small. I have closets bigger than their bathrooms. The microwave was extremely small. The room had insufficient toiletries. The coffee maker had not been checked or cleaned. I found a coffee pod floating in the coffee maker water reservoir. The room was clean but these accommodations are not worth the price.

The room had a refrigerator (with a working freezer), small microwave, TV, comfortable bed and pillows, modern bathroom (with a working fan), in-room coffee maker. It seemed to be family business, and the man I dealt with was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and neat. The town nearby has everything a person might need, including a nice park with a sizable paved walking path, and a scenic view of the lower Delaware River and the big twin bridges going over it. The motel is very close to I-295 for easy access but far enough away that noise wasn't a factor. This was my second time staying at this motel and I'll gladly stay there again next time I'm in the neighborhood.

Not service animal friendly I have a certified service dog and the dog had to stay home and something new they added was a room fee that starts at $50 and goes up to $100 but it is refunded after your check out is completed and they inspect the room out side that it’s a quiet place to stay it’s close to Wawa pilot flying j and a couple of other restaurants

Got in late (2am) after a concert and the gentleman at the front desk was so courteous and friendly, even asking about my concert. The bed was comfortable and, traveling alone, I felt safe in the parking lot and room. Would definitely return

I was unsure when booking this overnight stay. But once we arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly. The location was very easily accessible and there were a lot of food options nearby. The parking lot and the room were extremely clean and well lit. I would definitely stay here again if passing through the area.

We chose this because almost every reasonable hotel had nothing left. We chose this because do many other reviews mentioned how clean and nice it was. And I have to agree, for being a 2 star motel this was better than I expected. Even the A/C unit was comparatively quiet. Property appeared to be well kept and clean. Bathroom was small, but nice and clean. Clean sheets, comfortable mattress, ok carpet. Location seemed a bit sketchy but we didn't encounter any issues. Very happy with our stay.

Travelers who are looking for a clean, safe, affordable place to stay, and aren't much interested in frills, should find this establishment to their liking. People who want a swimming pool, exercise room and free breakfast should look elsewhere and pay more for those amenities. This is a unique place. It's old and worn but not squalid. GPS sent me to Motel by way of exit 1C off of Interstate 295 S. That route is full if deep potholes that ruin my car's allignment and tires. That road does not belong to the Motel. Tell everyone to take exit 1 C instead.

Very nice place. Convenient to dining optios, Fort Mott State Park. Navigating the roads is a tad strange but use your GPS. VERY reasonable.

Rooms were clean and easily accessible with parking right in front of the room. Hotel is behind a semi truck parking lot. There is no access to food and only an outdoor beverage vending machine but there are fast food restaurants a short drive away. Good hotel if you are just planning on using it for resting at night and not a staycation in the room.

This property on hotels.com was rated wonderful, I don't believe this should be a wonderful rating, it should be most likely a very good rating.That being said it was very comfortable and a clean property, beds were very comfortable, very hot day 97° and air conditioning was perfect. Also about 2 mi from the property was a very good restaurant called the Engine House, highly recommend it!!

Mom and pop hotel. Initially pulling into the hotel was concerned. There is a very potholed road that leads to the hotel however the next day learned of two other roads that lead to the hotel that were in good shape. Room was well furnished if not a bit small but fine for us. Room was clean and quite. Price was very good value. For food go to The Engine House.

This is an old motel that has been refurbished into excellent condition. It's like an old style roadside motel from the 70s, but updated. Clean room, friendly helpful staff, clean and comfortable room. The morning after our stay I looked in the parking lot at the cars. Looked like average middle class cars. Everything that could be made modern was done. Had wifi and cable TV. Would stay again. No breakfast offered but several fast food places nearby.

This motel is very clean. Friendly front desk clerk. Close to the highway, a Wawa's , Dunkin Donuts, McDonalds, Taco Bell & Applebee’s. I would stay here again.

I loved this motel! Easy access from I95 & convenient to restaurants in the area. Be sure to go to the Italian Kitchen, just down the block!

Even at $91 for the night, it was overpriced for what it offered. It's a good place to just get some sleep, but there are zero amenities. Even the vending machines were lacking--the pop machine was completely empty, so I put in two one-dollar bills and got back 8 quarters (eye roll). The snack vending machine had only 4 items to choose from (all Cheetos). The key card didn't work at first, so I had to drive back over to the office to get it fixed. Normally I would say "you get what you pay for," but this was a little less. Convenient location, though.

I was in the area for a music festival. I was not going to be spending a lot of time in a room so I did not need any "bells and whistles." It was affordable, convenient to roads, restaurants and a convenience store. They made no promises on which they did not deliver. My only suggestion is that a lamp on the desk would be a nice addition to use instead of the overhead lighting! Would probably stay there again under similar conditions.

Room was very clean, bed comfortable and air conditioned. Few minor maintenance issues. No real impact on my comfort. My only negative comment would be pillows very big. I prefer a flat pillow. This is a common issue at most hotels so I travel with my own pillow when I can. Excellent location. Close to Salem Community College, The Shipyard, grocery store and multiple restaurants as well as fast food. Also liked being able to park directly in front of my room.

This is an older motel but It is kept up meticulously. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I would recommend this motel for an overnight stay. It is very convient to the highway also.
