Vijayshree Resort, Hampi

Good location, comfortable no-frills room (kutiya cottage), beautiful setting, value for money! Service and staff could do with training.

Seeing the condition of the room we decided to book another hotel. Our driver stayed at the property and had terrible experience.

The shuttle service to get from the front door to our cabin was wonderful. We had a large room with a sitting area. This was very close to the historical sites.

The newly built rooms are very good, but the room service is pathetic. We got our dinner to the room in 1.5 hrs after calling multiple times. We read similar reviews previously as well. Also, the restaurant has 2 parts, the older one is not maintained. The table cloths and chairs were dirty which felt unhygienic. The buffet options were also very limited.

It was a pleasant place over all but was slightly dated and needed to be updated but was clean and the staff were friendly and attentive. I used the massage facilities and must say it was excellent.
