Riverfront Cabin | Fire Pit, Soaking Tub, Dogs OK

We booked this home looking for a quiet get away where we could relax and enjoy family time and this was the perfect home to do so. The views are amazing, we loved the water and sounds of nature, even had a deer come right up to the front door. I find myself picky about cleanliness when staying places, this home exceeded all expectations and was extremely clean and well maintained. The check in and check out process was smooth and communication was quick whenever we messaged or had a question.This home is fairly secluded (as mentioned in the description), so we bought all our food and drinks before arriving as the closest grocery store is about 15-20 minutes away. If looking for something to do in the area — we did the animal and snake farm, Bushkill falls and even went horseback riding at Mountain Creek riding stable - all recommend! It as a wonderful location, lovely house! Very clean, plenty of room, and all necessary amenities. The view and wraparound deck were the highlights!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home for our anniversary weekend! The house itself is stunning, immaculately clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable getaway. But the real highlight has to be the mountain views—they are truly spectacular and unforgettable to wake up to. The host was fantastic and attentive, ensuring we had a perfect stay. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our special weekend, and we would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a perfect mountain retreat. We will definitely be back!

Beds: There are only 3 bedrooms (not 4). 1 of the bedrooms is in the basement which is really stuffy, and the room is cold. My brother slept there the first night, but couldn’t sleep there the second night because of his allergies. So, in reality there are only 2 bedrooms that people can comfortably sleep in.Heat/AC: At first, the house heating system was on so high that it felt like 90 degrees. I called the customer service, and the woman on the phone didn’t know how to work the heating/cooling system. It took me around 2 hours to figure everything out, and it took around 3 hours for the house to feel like it was at a tolerable temperature. Water: The water from the fridge was dirty. It seems like they never cleaned the filter, and there was black sediment in the water. Because of this, we couldn’t drink water all night and had to wait until the next day to buy water at a store.Skillets: A lot of the skillets are unusable and should be thrown out. Pros: the house overall is nice and the views are amazing. The campfire is also fully set up to be used by guests. The house is also pretty clean. Overall: I think the property is nice but overpriced for what they are providing. They really should have basic things like water available to guests, and they shoul ensure that the house is at a reasonable temperature. If you do rent this house, make sure to come early to adjust the temperature settings in the house, bring your own water, and bring your own cooking skillets.

Wonderful winter getaway. Saw several deer and bald eagles! You must be physically able to do stairs to enjoy outside fire pit. Terrific beds and area, great hosts.
