L’accueil était correct en particulier Mme Thuraya La restauration médiocre en particulier le service et principalement les serveurs qui manquent d’expérience et de professionnalisme ils sont à l’affût des pourboires C’est dommage !!! La salle de sport est ancienne et très en dessous de la catégorie

J'ai beaucoup aimé les piscines, le jardin. Les buffets sont très bons. Le personnel à la réception n'est pas toujours très agréable et ne donne pas assez d'information. Les chambres sont correctes mais un peu vieillottes.

This my second time visiting iberostar colection the first with kantaoui bay it was awesome and the second in royal al mansour was even better, i would like to thanks and appreciate the whole team specially the animation team from team leader Aladin and the star camp to the rest members luka maxi mario khalid mimi goufi ...

Average all round - staff were pleasant but aim is really to make more money and get you to do the excursions aside from staff in restaurant who were really nice. Pool/beach area is pretty (you have to pay extra for towel) but I would say all around that the hotel is quite dated and tired, food is fine (buffet/canteen style) but nothing to write home about. Massage wasn’t my cup of tea at all, all in all average all round. That being said Tunisia is a fab place to visit and mahdia Médina is very pretty - I’d recommend staying nearer there if mahdia is on your travel itinerary.

C’est un hôtel cinq étoiles qui devait être superbe il y a 25 ans mais est assez vieillissant aujourd’hui. Cela dit il est Malgré tout correct. La nourriture est pas mal mais n’est pas trop renouvelée. Le personnel est très gentil mais nous voit comme des Américains. Sinon j’ai été très déçu du fait qu’ils disent qu’il y a une discothèque alors qu’elle est fermé j’avais choisi cet endroit pour Mon Fils car je pensais qu’il y avait des jeunes vu qu’il y avait une discothèque et ce n’était pas le cas et il s’est embêté toutes les Soiree, car il n’y avait vraiment pas de bonnes animations. Les soirées étaient vraiment très limites , il y a eu une soirée tunisienne. Franchement c’était très bas de gamme. J ai eta très déçu de ça j’ai demandé un fer à repasser, j’en ai toujours trouvé dans les cinq étoiles là, pas un seul dans tout l’hôtel, pareil j’ai demandé du faux Sucre on n’en trouve toujours dans les cinq étoiles pour les diabétiques, il n’y en avait pas non plus. Qui n’a pas de sacarine aujourd’hui dans un hôtel de cette taille En ce qui me concerne je trouve que ça ne vaut pas du tout les 5 etoiles même si c’est correct on paye très cher la semaine alors que c’est la Tunisie car la Tunisie n’est pas aussi cher que beaucoup de pays en Europe. J’ai fait l’an dernier un hôtel à Rhodes à cinq étoiles, j’ai payé moins cher et l’hôtel et les prestations étaient vraiment à la hauteur d’un cinq étoiles.

I think you have to be mindful that 4-5 star hotel classifications really aren’t the same globally. While the hotel was mostly clean, a great variety of food and drinks… I didn’t feel like I was in a 5* environment. A few things to note… The evening entertainment starts quite late. Kids party starts 8:30 so most of them are too sleepy to enjoy. There’s not much for kids to do as in day time activities. Yes there’s a small park, local beach and kids club but it really paled in comparison to what I’ve experienced in other European destinations. The kids called me within an hour to collect them from the kids club. The sign in and out process is non existent. I just walked straight in and took the kids and the staff paid no attention. The park is really something for babies. The most exciting part for my kids who were a 6 year old girl and 7 year old boy was the heated indoor pool. They were too cold in the outside one ( we went during Easter break). Entertainment is not great for adults. We were pretty bored in the evening and spent time in the shisha Lounge which was lovely. The Italian restaurant lol. Just avoid it people most people reserve and end up leaving and going back to the buffet. I loved the food. Ignore people who complain. I’m of Afro Caribbean descent and once you add the salts and pepper everything tasks very nice. So much choice too.

Finally a hotel that meets my expectations. Very clean, wonderful food and helpful staff. Thanks to all the staff working in the hotel and special thanks to Mr Chouchene, the assistant director.

Pendant notre voyage de noces à Mahdia, l'expérience a été chaotique. En voulant réserver directement à l'hôtel, la réception nous a dirigés vers un numéro de mobile inaccessible(22163163) nous obligeant à passer par Hôtel.com. À notre arrivée, l'accueil a été désagréable, à l'exception d'une dame à la réception le lendemain matin. La suite était sale, glacée, sans bouteille d'eau (voir photos). De plus, une erreur de saisie a entraîné des frais supplémentaires injustifiés, soulevant des suspicions d'arnaque. Nous avons payé 151 euros en ligne lors de la réservation et 114 euros à l'arrivée, totalisant près de 375€/900dt, bien loin des 224€/751dt annoncés et facturés (voir facture).La qualité du buffet était en deçà des attentes pour un prétendu 5 étoiles du groupe Iberostar, une expérience globalement décevante. Plus jamais Royal MANSOUR ! A éviter 👎

Service degraded drastically. This is my second time in this hotel. From the first visit to the second, a huge difference. And the difference touches the check-in time till the check-out. Here is why : - As a Hotels.com Gold member, I have the right for early check-in if there is availability and guaranteed late check-out. I got neither the first nor the second perk. - The welcome in the reception is cold and not appropriate for a 5 stars hotel. - We did not find a spot for our car in the parking lot. - There are missing amenities in the room like shower gel and water boiler machine. - Restaurant food quality degraded. We were 8 in the hotel. 3 of us including me had diarrhea. - Restaurant servers are not attentive to clients requests. They do not smile and some of them are even rude. I asked their chief for a water boiler machine, he promised to send one to my room. Got nothing. Compared to Iberostar Kuriat Palace in Sousse where we got Gold member perks in check-in and check-out time and where we got a very warm welcome, the Iberostar Royal Elmansour is not a "Very Good" hotel anymore. I dont recommend for people who are attentive to details. I'll definetly go back to Sousse but I'll think twice before returning to Royal El Mansour Hotel. Special thanks, though, to Fares, the lifeguard guy, who is one of the best employees in the hotel. Always available and very hardworking.

El buffet del desayuno y las comidas es variado y abundante, con platos internacionales pero también con algunas opciones locales que se agradecen. La piscina cubierta es una maravilla en esta época del año porque la exterior, que están abiertas, son frías todavía para bañarse. Está situado en primera línea de playa, con acceso directo a la misma y a 2 kms de la preciosa medina de Mahdia, a la que se puede llegar andando por un paseo muy agradable. No le doy la máxima puntuación por el servicio. El servicio es excelente pero solo cuando vas con propinas por delante. Es increible la diferencia de trato que hay entre unos clientes y otros y se debe a las propinas. al principio sorprende porque no se entiende el sistema. Estoy dispuesto a dar propinas cuando el servicio es bueno pero estoy en desacuerdo con dar propinas como requisito previo para obtener un buen servicio. Realmente era una situación insólita que se da en el buffet, en el bar y que no hacen cómoda la estancia porque siempre tienes que ir con dinero para obtener un buen servicio.

This hotel deserves all 5 stars hands down. With exceptional service from all staff, delicious food and beautiful decor! The maids were brilliant and made us smile always saying hello they even went the extra mile and did quirky decorations on the bed with dressing gowns and flowers. The bar staff were so attentive and friendly even if we did not move a muscle from our lounger. The entertainment team always pleasant and made conversation not to mention their flamboyant dancing skills much to our amazement , absolutely brilliant 😃 All I ask is that the entertainment team deserve attire that matches their talent… We were made to feel special, we loved our stay ❤️

The quality of the foods and services were not consistent with 5 star facility, serving margarine, while labeling it as butter, or all fruit juices made from powder (artificial ingredients) instead of real fruit, like other 5 star hotels. Not much accommodation for healthy eating or special dietary needs. It was way too crowded. The hotel grounds are too small for the number of guests, so in the pool and beach areas people were practically on top of each other.

Incredible. Came late at night, they brought food to my room even tho I missed dinner. The restaurants are amazing, best ingredients quality I tried in Tunisia, many traditional dishes such as mloukhiya and Tunisian fish pasta. Bravo to the security team as well. I will surely come back again in the future.

The park is really something for babies. The most exciting part for my kids who were a 6 year old girl and 7 year old boy was the heated indoor pool. They were too cold in the outside one ( we went during Easter break). Entertainment is not great for adults. We were pretty bored in the evening and spent time in the shisha Lounge which was lovely. The Italian restaurant lol. Just avoid it people most people reserve and end up leaving and going back to the buffet. I loved the food. Ignore people who complain. I’m of Afro Caribbean descent and once you add the salts and pepper everything tasks very nice. So much choice too.
