Beachfront property with friendly and efficient staff, plenty of activities for kids, very decent restaurant with a large variety of food and beverages for everyone. We had a suite with sea view which I highly recommend to make your stay more special. And finally our greatest recognition goes to the chef and the staff at the restaurant, who went out of their way in proposing and preparing gluten-free meals for my wife (she has Celiac disease) with care and empathy, throughout our stay. Many thanks and we'll be back some day.

Séjour une semaine etre mère et fille. Hôtel incroyable, tout le monde est aux petits soins. A la réception il y a toujours des sourires et de l’enthousiasme. Au restaurant : variété des plats, tous succulents, petits pains super bons, desserts à tomber…., 1000 mercis à tous les cuisiniers, serveurs etc…. Chambre (2050) très vaste, plein de rangements, orientée plein soleil. Merci à Manel, notre femme de ménage, pour ses petites attentions tous les matins.. Salle de sports très bien équipée, propre et accueillante. Plage privée de l’hôtel très propre, plein de transats, des qu’on s’assoit on vient nous amener un matelas, serveur très gentil nous amène des cocktails. Bars : serveurs toujours disponibles et souriants. SPA : des prestations magnifiques, très professionnelles, merci à Adel le responsable (toujours souriant et au top), Fateu au hammam (très gentille et attentionnée) et les masseuses esthéticiennes Wieme, Hanene, la masseuse Leila, et le masseur Aymen, qui nous ont donné du bonheur tous les jours. Tous les soins ont été d’une qualité exceptionnelle et la gentillesse de l’ensemble du personnel est remarquable. Merci à Mme Saoudi pour nous avoir permis de programmer tous nos soins à l’avance. Tous les employés de l’hôtel sont à l’écoute, souriants et bonne humeur. C’est très plaisant ! Tout ceci nous donne vraiment envie de revenir.

Nous avons vraiment apprécié cette semaine dans cet hôtel All inclusive. On pouvait passer de la piscine à la mer en toute simplicité. Bien situé pour aller faire une journée de découverte. Restaurant avec une large choix et très bon. Nous le conseillons. Personnel très agréable.

Averroes is awesome for its price. Dont expect name brand liquors or after midnight entertainment. Enjoy what it does have to offer; Their excursions are awesome and affordable, hooka is awesome, pool water cold but huge!

It's a pity that the Air Conditioning wasn't working perfectly. The restaurants did not have air conditioning unfortunately. The pool and the beach were wonderful .

For the second time we stayed at Iberostar Hammamet. The first time was about 3 years ago. Compared to other hotels in Tunisia, this hotel was among the best. The food variety at the buffet was great and tasteful. Also the staff takes cleanliness very serious and there is always somebody looking out for trash laying around. The beach side and the water is also perfect for a swim. There are no stones in the water or on the beach. In only 5 minutes you can reach hammamet south. The shows at night are also very stunning. Also the cocktail party on Wednesday is a nice event for a little get together with the guests and hotel staff. The animation team is very communicative and informs about the Programm and gets many guests involved. What can be improved is that the service at the restaurant wasn’t always the quickest. Sometimes we had to wait for a couple of minutes until a waiter finally set up tables for 6 person even though some of the waiters were just talking among themselves. Also over time the hotel needs some renovation to be done. But other than that we can sure recommend to stay at iberostar hammamet.

Staff were fantastic! So attentive and really made sure they look after you. They were so lovely and kind. The facilities available were great, I really enjoyed the pool and the spa was reasonably priced. Unfortunately the indoor pool was under renovation when we arrived, but the outdoor pool was perfectly enough in the scorching heat! I will say that upon arrival we were not too happy, since we arrived to a room with zero towels, toilet not flushing, tv and telephone for reception not working. Which was not ideal after a long and hectic morning of travelling. However, towels were brought up and toilet was fixed quite quickly. I asked for an iron several several times, but told that if one was found then they will bring it immediately. But the whole trip I spent with creased clothes… none of these things took away from our holiday luckily, and the staff+facilities were lovely enough to override the bad

L'hotel est superbe et tres bien situe, avec une belle plage. La chambre etait comfortable, spacieuse, avec une belle salle de bain, un large balcon avec magnifique vue piscine et mer. Le spa n'est pas a la hauteur de l'hotel, soins mediocres et ambiance pas digne du reste de l'hotel. La restauration est aussi a ameliorer. Les buffets offrent du choix mais de pietre qualite, les desserts n'ont aucune saveur. Nous avons ete malade des le premier soir! Autrement tres bon rapport qualite prix.

Great break. We spent 8 days all inclusive in this great hotel. Super friendly staff and a location directly on the beach. Good quality food with variety, although the cocktails were a let down. If cocktails are not the most important part of your holiday then I thoroughly recommend! Cleaning standards were high in the room and the communal areas. A hard working animation team produced something different each night. It was very quiet as the week before the Easter break, but that was exactly what we wanted. An hour from Tunis and nothing much to see locally, so just enjoy the beach and the relatively small pool.

Niveau repas étant en all inclusive nous étions ravie, très variés : changement du self tous les jours avec des salades, des fruits, des légumes … La plage devant l’hôtel et les piscines permettent de variés les plaisirs. Des événements et activités tous les jours ! Salle de sport avec des équipements très bien également par rapport à d’autres établissements. Pour se déplacer, les taxis sont disponibles à proximité pour éviter de prendre les services de l’hôtel (trop cher par rapport au louage et taxi quand on se débrouille seul)

Hotel mit vielen Mängeln und schlechter Rezeption. Getränke, die sich Cocktails nennen sind eine Zumutung! Alles muss erfragt und aus der Nase gezogen werden. Pool/Strandhandtücher bekommt man nur gegen Kaution. Diese muss in tunesischen Dinar hinterlegt werden. Einen Geldautomaten gibt es im Hotel nicht. Also entweder vorhandenes Geld wechseln oder man muss zum Geldautomaten 10 Minuten vom Hotel entfernt. Das Geld für die Kaution (20€) haben wir bei Abreise in 1 und 2 € Münzen zurückbekommen obwohl genug Scheine in € auf dem Tresen lagen. Auf Nachfrage ob man nicht einfach einen Schein bekommen könne, hieß es man könne es uns nur so aushändigen. Naja. Auf der Suche nach der Snack-Bar wurden wir vom Hotelpersonal an 10 verschiedene Orte geschickt - heißt die wussten selbst nicht genau wo es ist. Durchfall bei dem Essen vorprogrammiert. Überall Fliegen auf dem Essen - eine kroch vor meinen Augen aus dem Essen raus - wahrscheinlich gerade ihre Eier in der aufgeschnittenen Quiche abgelegt. Das Essen sieht auch so aus, als würde es von Frühstück zu Mittagessen zu Abendessen einfach durchgeschleust bis es leer ist. Keine Empfehlung.

Not great . For a 4 star Iberostar we were perhaps expecting basic cleanliness and hygiene and decent service . To begin within 2 rounds back to reception because the key cards weren’t working . Apparently the battery in the lock needed charging . These things happen but they could have sent someone to sort this rather than expecting the customer to make the long trip ( our too. Was 300m from reception) . The towels had holes in them and needed replacing . No room service for food . It was 1/2 board and the food was the model of ‘rinse and repeat’ . We are conscious about being vegetarians in an African country where meat is popular but there’s no labelling of food . Their understanding of vegetarian is when fish and meat dishes have vegetables in them ! We paid extra for a sea view room and there’s only so much you can enjoy on an empty stomach . It left us with a bad taste in our mouth ( or perhaps I should say no taste ) . We ended up eating all our meals outside where there’s great options ( in Yasmine Hammamet medina and OGGI )

Staff were very helpful and friendly. I’ll be back to this hotel because of the staff, beautiful beach, spacious room, and nice view to the sea. I want to mention two problems and I hope that hotel management finds this review as I hope that this hotel could improve to its best version. Housekeeping staff were very nice, but they need a supervisor to check their work on cleaning the bathtub especially when a guest just checks in to a fresh room. They had skipped cleaning the bathtub. It was not clean when we checked in to our room. They didn't check if any shampoo or other amenities are left in the bathroom. I had to call the reception twice to ask for hand soap and body wash as there was nothing left. I guess they just had not the routine to check these things. The hotel management needs to check the air conditioning system. Our room was in the fourth floor, but the smell of the frying oil and food preparation came from the kitchen to all the corridors in the fourth floor, almost inside our room by the door. Moreover, air conditioning in our room did not work and when I asked the receptionist they informed me that air conditioning starts running from 14th April. We stayed in the hotel 1st April till 6th. The problem was not that it was warm at night, rather I felt stuck in a room with no air flow. I didn’t want to keep the window open during sleep. We were generally satisfied with our stay because of the welcoming and nice staff. Thanks.

Also the cocktail party on Wednesday is a nice event for a little get together with the guests and hotel staff. The animation team is very communicative and informs about the Programm and gets many guests involved. What can be improved is that the service at the restaurant wasn’t always the quickest. Sometimes we had to wait for a couple of minutes until a waiter finally set up tables for 6 person even though some of the waiters were just talking among themselves. Also over time the hotel needs some renovation to be done. But other than that we can sure recommend to stay at iberostar hammamet.

Ive been to Tunisia before and the hotels do all have a dated theme. This is accompanied by them being in poor condition. By this i mean stained walls, damaged items, weird smells, unclean surfaces but I'll ignore this for the puporses of the review. Good points - Cleaners are polite and proficient - alot of food options (although most is mediocre at best) - good proximity to beach and a good sized pool. Bad points - Location isnt great, there isnt a whole lot to do there, I'd suggest staying by old town for a more enjoyable experience. - Day reception staff are incredibly rude, they are blunt and almost standoff ish which doesnt make you feel safe since this essentially becomes your home for a few days, i found this to be the case specificially with Houssem and Whaled. - day reception staff will also take advantage of you when you try and book anything through them. For context i asked Whaled about getting a private transfer to Tunis. Id researched enough to know a fair price which was about 220 TND. He quoted me 380 and when I barter he was rude and quite literally walked off. I managed to arrange it myself outside the hotel for 240 TND with a private car (not a taxi). Also just for reference for anyone else reading this, if you want to go to Tunis, take either a coach which is 8TND or a lounge which is about 4TND. You can get this from Minerat hamamet. A taxi to there from hotel shouldnt be more than 12TND. Hamamet old town this shouldnt be more than 10TND from hotel

Nous avons été très déçus de notre séjour pour un 4 *. Nous sommes pourtant habitués aux Tout-inclus pour en faire au moins 2 par année. (4 ou 5*) Les irritants: Mini bar n\'a jamais été rempli i.e. rien du tout, pas même une bouteille d\'eau, pas de climatisation avant le 1er mai, une seul resto à la carte ouvert 3 jrs sem. avec possibilité d\'y aller une fois par séjour, buffet peu varié au fil des jours à tel point que nous sommes allés manger 4 fois en ville sur 7 jours, vins locaux et boissons limités (presque seulement des produits tunisiens), dépôt requis $ pour le coffre fort et les serviettes, pas de service 24 hres, pas de bouilloire ou cafetière dans la chambre, pas de peignoir, séchoir archaïque, peu d\'ambiance dans le bar pour l\'apéro, serveurs en nombre insuffisant autant au resto buffet qu\'à la piscine et à la plage ( ou - 25 minutes d\'attente pour recevoir une consommation à la piscine ou à la plage,etc.), transats souvent brisés, peu de services de beach boy (on s\'organise nous-mêmes), spectacle le soir dans une salle de conférence ... Les : Chambre grande et très propre, longue plage, bon travail des femmes de chambre. La veille de notre départ, on nous a demandé de compléter une évaluation. Nous l\'avons fait. Le jour même, la manager et le responsable de la restauration nous ont rencontrés. Pour "compenser" notre insatisfaction, des peignoirs sont apparus dans notre chambre, un panier de fruits et le frigo a été rempli d\'eau et de boissons gazeuses.

My overall stay at the hotel was actually quite pleasant, thanks largely to the excellent service and the exceptionally warm, helpful staff. Every member of the team we encountered was friendly and professional, which made the general hotel experience positive. However, my review must focus on the Superior Suite (the most expensive category), which unfortunately was the major flaw in our trip. 1. Unacceptable Location & Ambience: Despite reserving your highest-tier suite, the room was inexplicably located on the ground floor. While the size was generous, the overall design and furnishings felt more like a basic homestay or budget apartment, lacking the premium finishes, views, and exclusive feel expected of top suite. 2. Severe Noise Issue (The Dealbreaker): The absolute biggest issue was the noise. The suite is situated directly behind the evening music hall/performance venue. The soundproofing is extremely poor, making it virtually impossible to relax or sleep in the evening due to the continuous loud music and noise before 11pm. In summary: The hotel staff and general service deserve high praise. However, the hotel needs to urgently address the location, fit-out, and severe lack of soundproofing in this specific Superior Suite. Paying a premium price for this sub-standard accommodation significantly detracted from an otherwise good hotel experience. The seaview suite could be a better option.

The outside of the hotel was pretty with a lovely pool area and a beach right outside. Also the buffet had a variety of options and because I went during Ramadan, they had the buffet open at 3 am for those who were fasting. The staff were very friendly, and there was plenty of entertainment offered. However, the room AC was not good; hot air was coming out even after a worker tried to fix it and the pillows were not good quality, making it difficult to sleep. Also in the room there was no iron and when we asked, we were told we had to pay for clothing to be ironed. The prices were shocking, costing £12 to iron a dress. Moreover, no bottle of water was provided in the room fridge and there was no kettle in the rooms. - There were no shuttle services, only private taxis, which were too expensive (£40 just to get to the hotel). It's better to prebook a shuttle online, which only costs £6.

Im sorry but this hotel is not as advertised the food was horrible limited choices no water in room or minibar there was a random mattess in the hallway all inclusive was limted .It really should advertised as a assistant living home no activities just plain blah the chef came out for lunch and just stood there like he created a masterpiece it was a masterpiece of unseasoned food and crap!!! The only highlight was when we left!!!!

Lovely hotel, having visited the area many times I decided to try a different hotel this time. Due to the time of year it was quiet, which i liked. I was very impressed overall with the hotel. The room was bright modern and spacious. The food was of a high standard, staff lovely and location great. I would return

Unfortunately the service was bad the bar staff was lazy to make me Cappuccino! At the Buffet the cutlers And the drink glasses the servant was reusing not even cleaning so sad and disgusting when I saw that!

We had a lovely holiday. Houssem and Mahdi at the reception were very professional and helpful. The food was good, the desserts looked different but tasted the same. We loved the traditional Tunisian food it was very yummy. The cheese was very bland and was disappointed there were no natural fresh juices. The ones served at breakfast were terrible. There should have been a small coffee corner In the bedroom. Soundouss the cleaner was very friendly and made us feel at home. The entertainment staff is amazing big hello to Mira and kimo!! Thank you!

I am afraid to say the first contact withe the hotel was reception and especially one of them was unhelpful and very rude. It was very clean and food delicious.all other staff very friendly.

Great break. We spent 8 days all inclusive in this great hotel. Super friendly staff and a location directly on the beach. Good quality food with variety, although the cocktails were a let down. If cocktails are not the most important part of your holiday then I thoroughly recommend! Cleaning standards were high in the room and the communal areas. A hard working animation team produced something different each night. It was very quiet as the week before the Easter break, but that was exactly what we wanted. An hour from Tunis and nothing much to see locally, so just enjoy the beach and the relatively small pool.

This hotel was a wonderful surprise a real gem,the staff cannot do enough for you,the food was superb although some people said they didn’t enjoy it because there was to much fish,crab,seafood etc go out to a restaurant in the uk your pay a small fortune for the menu so to have this on your stay was excellent,if you want chips burgers then book butlind and not this hotel,if you want a relaxing holiday then this is the place don’t expect west end shows in the evening as that’s not going to happen,we stayed there with friends and couldn’t fault it and will be going back

Beachfront property with friendly and efficient staff, plenty of activities for kids, very decent restaurant with a large variety of food and beverages for everyone. We had a suite with sea view which I highly recommend to make your stay more special. And finally our greatest recognition goes to the chef and the staff at the restaurant, who went out of their way in proposing and preparing gluten-free meals for my wife (she has Celiac disease) with care and empathy, throughout our stay. Many thanks and we'll be back some day.

Averroes is awesome for its price. Dont expect name brand liquors or after midnight entertainment. Enjoy what it does have to offer; Their excursions are awesome and affordable, hooka is awesome, pool water cold but huge!

The Iberostar way in Yasmine Hammamet at Averroes. This 4 star hotel deserves and even exceeds its rating. Its location on the beach is excellent and provides safety and easy access to the neighborhood including a 15 min walk to the marina and a 10 min walk to Carthage land. I highly recommend this hotel and it’s typically sold out year around.

The outside of the hotel was pretty with a lovely pool area and a beach right outside. Also the buffet had a variety of options and because I went during Ramadan, they had the buffet open at 3 am for those who were fasting. The staff were very friendly, and there was plenty of entertainment offered. However, the room AC was not good; hot air was coming out even after a worker tried to fix it and the pillows were not good quality, making it difficult to sleep. Also in the room there was no iron and when we asked, we were told we had to pay for clothing to be ironed. The prices were shocking, costing £12 to iron a dress. Moreover, no bottle of water was provided in the room fridge and there was no kettle in the rooms. - There were no shuttle services, only private taxis, which were too expensive (£40 just to get to the hotel). It's better to prebook a shuttle online, which only costs £6.

For the second time we stayed at Iberostar Hammamet. The first time was about 3 years ago. Compared to other hotels in Tunisia, this hotel was among the best. The food variety at the buffet was great and tasteful. Also the staff takes cleanliness very serious and there is always somebody looking out for trash laying around. The beach side and the water is also perfect for a swim. There are no stones in the water or on the beach. In only 5 minutes you can reach hammamet south. The shows at night are also very stunning. Also the cocktail party on Wednesday is a nice event for a little get together with the guests and hotel staff. The animation team is very communicative and informs about the Programm and gets many guests involved. What can be improved is that the service at the restaurant wasn’t always the quickest. Sometimes we had to wait for a couple of minutes until a waiter finally set up tables for 6 person even though some of the waiters were just talking among themselves. Also over time the hotel needs some renovation to be done. But other than that we can sure recommend to stay at iberostar hammamet.

Ive been to Tunisia before and the hotels do all have a dated theme. This is accompanied by them being in poor condition. By this i mean stained walls, damaged items, weird smells, unclean surfaces but I'll ignore this for the puporses of the review. Good points - Cleaners are polite and proficient - alot of food options (although most is mediocre at best) - good proximity to beach and a good sized pool. Bad points - Location isnt great, there isnt a whole lot to do there, I'd suggest staying by old town for a more enjoyable experience. - Day reception staff are incredibly rude, they are blunt and almost standoff ish which doesnt make you feel safe since this essentially becomes your home for a few days, i found this to be the case specificially with Houssem and Whaled. - day reception staff will also take advantage of you when you try and book anything through them. For context i asked Whaled about getting a private transfer to Tunis. Id researched enough to know a fair price which was about 220 TND. He quoted me 380 and when I barter he was rude and quite literally walked off. I managed to arrange it myself outside the hotel for 240 TND with a private car (not a taxi). Also just for reference for anyone else reading this, if you want to go to Tunis, take either a coach which is 8TND or a lounge which is about 4TND. You can get this from Minerat hamamet. A taxi to there from hotel shouldnt be more than 12TND. Hamamet old town this shouldnt be more than 10TND from hotel

Lovely hotel, having visited the area many times I decided to try a different hotel this time. Due to the time of year it was quiet, which i liked. I was very impressed overall with the hotel. The room was bright modern and spacious. The food was of a high standard, staff lovely and location great. I would return

Was pleasantly surprised how lovely the hotel and tunisia was for the price we paid. The hotel doesnt provide anything but i guess at the price we paid shoulsnt complain but youd think. Water would be included. Really cheap to buy anyways so not an issue. Clean and actually really decent fold for half boatd - no drinks included in dinner not even water.

Hotel mit vielen Mängeln und schlechter Rezeption. Getränke, die sich Cocktails nennen sind eine Zumutung! Alles muss erfragt und aus der Nase gezogen werden. Pool/Strandhandtücher bekommt man nur gegen Kaution. Diese muss in tunesischen Dinar hinterlegt werden. Einen Geldautomaten gibt es im Hotel nicht. Also entweder vorhandenes Geld wechseln oder man muss zum Geldautomaten 10 Minuten vom Hotel entfernt. Das Geld für die Kaution (20€) haben wir bei Abreise in 1 und 2 € Münzen zurückbekommen obwohl genug Scheine in € auf dem Tresen lagen. Auf Nachfrage ob man nicht einfach einen Schein bekommen könne, hieß es man könne es uns nur so aushändigen. Naja. Auf der Suche nach der Snack-Bar wurden wir vom Hotelpersonal an 10 verschiedene Orte geschickt - heißt die wussten selbst nicht genau wo es ist. Durchfall bei dem Essen vorprogrammiert. Überall Fliegen auf dem Essen - eine kroch vor meinen Augen aus dem Essen raus - wahrscheinlich gerade ihre Eier in der aufgeschnittenen Quiche abgelegt. Das Essen sieht auch so aus, als würde es von Frühstück zu Mittagessen zu Abendessen einfach durchgeschleust bis es leer ist. Keine Empfehlung.

Très bel hôtel, très propre, facile d’accès à la plage. Petit déjeuner et dîner au restaurant au top rien ne manque aux buffets ( très copieux) et la gentillesse du personnel. Je recommande

Food is disgusting, service is really bad does meet the standards of an Iberostar . They offered meat for eveyone which was pork meat and it wad the same meat in the morning no labels of what kind of meat as well. Very disappointed! Not worth the money

Im sorry but this hotel is not as advertised the food was horrible limited choices no water in room or minibar there was a random mattess in the hallway all inclusive was limted .It really should advertised as a assistant living home no activities just plain blah the chef came out for lunch and just stood there like he created a masterpiece it was a masterpiece of unseasoned food and crap!!! The only highlight was when we left!!!!

We had a lovely holiday. Houssem and Mahdi at the reception were very professional and helpful. The food was good, the desserts looked different but tasted the same. We loved the traditional Tunisian food it was very yummy. The cheese was very bland and was disappointed there were no natural fresh juices. The ones served at breakfast were terrible. There should have been a small coffee corner In the bedroom. Soundouss the cleaner was very friendly and made us feel at home. The entertainment staff is amazing big hello to Mira and kimo!! Thank you!

Poor food, terrible entertainment, lack of any motivation from staff. Rooms poor. Worst AI I have encountered

L'hotel est superbe et tres bien situe, avec une belle plage. La chambre etait comfortable, spacieuse, avec une belle salle de bain, un large balcon avec magnifique vue piscine et mer. Le spa n'est pas a la hauteur de l'hotel, soins mediocres et ambiance pas digne du reste de l'hotel. La restauration est aussi a ameliorer. Les buffets offrent du choix mais de pietre qualite, les desserts n'ont aucune saveur. Nous avons ete malade des le premier soir! Autrement tres bon rapport qualite prix.
