Hotel was decent. Parking wasn't good. most of the parking is in the back, and it always had this gas/diesel smell in the back lots. The swimming pool was out of service the whole time we were there. they had 2 set of washer/dryer, but only one was functional. Room was ok, you can tell the carpet haven't been clean in a week. We never took our shoes off, beside going to sleep and shower.

My daughter and I went on a 6-hour roadtrip. The main reason we picked this hotel was because it had a pool and a hot tub. I suffer with chronic pain, so I figured the hot tub would be great after the long ride. Upon arriving at the hotel, we saw a sign that said the pool was closed for today, when in fact it was going to be closed indefinitely. The clerk apologized and told us he wouldn’t charge us for parking. The other issue we had was more than a few spiders in the room. I have a physical reaction from spider bites, so I was more than a little bit uncomfortable. Overall, the staff was awesome.

room quality poor. no shampoo bottle in bathroom, toilet paper holder loose from wall and we ran out on a two day stay with four people in room 325. design of room poor with angular walls that made no design sense and had no effect on spaciousness. HAD TO PAY 10 DOLLARS PER NIGHT TO PARK MY CAR ON THE HOTEL LOT!!! I was there for a staycation for my wife's birthday. While the staff was polite, it didn't really compensate for the lack of ammenties. The Wi-Fi and in-room cable was down for the duration of our 2 night stay. On the second day the hot tub and pool would be closed for the remainder of our stay. This really brought down the value of our stay, to virtually nill.

I liked this hotel! It was an overall great experience; the rooms were spacious and clean, and I felt safe in the area surrounding the hotel. My only complaints are the parking fee, pool, and cost of beverages. Typically I never pay for parking, but they had a $10 fee per day. I only stayed one night so it wasn’t pricey, but I feel like parking should be free. Second, this hotel advertises a pool and whirlpool, but the whirlpool was shut down; a little bit of a bummer for my family. The last thing is my husband bought a basic can of Dr. Pepper from the front desk, and it costed $8. Once again, not a huge deal, but I feel like it should be more reasonable. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

The room was nice and the property was in a great location close to restaurants and stores.The only thing I would recommend is the staff make sure to clean the pull out sofa bed better. We couldn't use the pull out sofa bed because it was dirty. This was disappointing because the rest of the room was clean .

Beware that they clean your room “every other day”. They could also use some new towels. The towels that we had were washed/reused so much that they were terribly thin. Most times I take my own towels but forgot to do so this time. Lastly, they didn’t clean the room thoroughly since the last customer as there were several beer bottle caps near one of the headboards.

The property is nice and the rooms are comfortable. We did have to ask to change rooms due to an unclean bathroom and a smell. The staff was understanding and immediately complied with my request. The new room was clean and comfortable. The property is older and could use a renovation, but it is decent and well kept.

Checked in for two rooms- connecting rooms, one room reeked of cigarette smoke. Got switched to another room, bathroom had pee stains on the toilet seat. At that point I was disgusted. Staff was excellent, area was okay, had a dude ask us for money when we walked out then he walked into the hotel to grab some Breakfast then left again only to stop my family in another car for money.

The room was not clean as you can see the body hair and dust on the toilet and bathroom, and also some cereal on the carpet floor corner. The most important thing is the front desk staff was not friendly and irresponsible about the customer's request for room cleaning services. As we check in the front desk told me that they do the room cleaning service every other day, which is fine. The trash can in the room is very small after two-night stays before we go out in the morning, I called the front desk from the room telephone and asked for the maid services, and she said yes, we will get your room clean today. As on our way out I still stopped by the front desk and asked her again to arrange the maid service in our room, of course, she said Yes. By night at 10:30 PM when we came back to our room, it wasn't clean at all. I called the front desk immediately, and the answer I got was I didn't see any request here (WHAT?) and if you need clean towels you can come down here to get the towel and trash bag for the trash can. It seems the staffs there didn't care how frustrated we are when we saw our room wasn't clean and had no clean towels. We had to clean the room ourselves at night and dumped the trash can and went down to get the clean towels. we travel a lot, and this is the first time that I see a front desk staff could be so unfriendly and irresponsible to a customer's request. Will never stay here again.

I was in the shower on my last day of my stay I was checking out at 11am and I saw a roach crawling on the shower curtain. If I wasn't already checking out that day I damn sure would have been leaving and getting a refund on whatever days o had left. The corners of the shower have black and brown dirt in it and half of the things were about to break i.e the toilet paper holder the metal racks in the shower and other things. I would not stay here again and I was in room 119!

The overall experience was great but did just want to call out that we were on the fourth floor (top floor) and the AC did not cool the room as well as we would have liked. If you stay here and like it cold when you sleep, you may want a lower floor.

We have been staying at this property for years and enjoy staying at this property - we were disappointed that they’ve started charging for parking and pricing for snacks is a bit high. Staff is wonderful. Lobby area is great and good amount of seating. Rooms are showing a bit of wear and tear - they need some work.

2 adults and 1 preschool-aged child Pros: easy access to Huntington metro with parking. Plentiful parking on site. Quick and friendly check in. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed. Loved the trundle pull out sofa- 4 year old thought it was the coolest thing. Cons: White socks were far from white after a short while walking around the room. The trundle mattress would not work for an older kid or adult (very unsupportive, but perfect for a small child). Very popular with large school groups- can make for some very loud hallways. We were in an accessible room so the bathroom (toilet and shower only) was very large, but the closest place to hang a towel was at least 6-8 feet away from the shower, which would have made it very difficult for someone with mobility issues to safely get out of the shower.

The shower head had nothing to hold it up so you had to hold it the entire time you showered. The water pressures was non existent and the the temperature was either cold or melt your skin off hot. The bed was not comfortable at all. Half the lights in the room did not work.

Room was set up weird, light switches that didn’t seem to go to anything, wall paper was peeling in the room and in the bathroom, phone didn’t work in room, pillows were flat and uncomfortable. My friends and I had used this hotel room for Super Magfest 2025. Originally, we were quite happy with the room, though upon arrival, we did notice a stain on the couch, and the pullout mattress had a brown stain on it. My friend didn't mind it since it was small and figured the hotel staff already known about. Our stay went fine, the beds were not too stiff, and the room was enough to accommodate three people. On the last day when we checked out, I had gotten a room damage fee charge on my credit card. When I called to ask why I was charged that fee, I was told that it was due to damages done to the mattress. I had explained that we never damaged anything to the mattress, and we didn't drop any food or drink on it. They of course, claimed that the mattress had been damaged due to the brown stain left from before, and claiming it was left damp. When I contested this, they forwarded me to their manager, whom never answered their phone. With all said and done, I issued a charge back to my card and got it removed. I usually have good experiences with Marriott. This one, however, was one of the worst. I can not recommend this Springhill Suite since they tried to scam me for damage I nor my friends had committed. Marriott is a good brand, but this hotel is run by folks who want to extort money out of you. Stay clear.

No conditioner; never cleaned my room, and no one was at front desk when i needed help with something and i even called to get someone to get to front desk and the employee finally came out and was like “i am on break”. The front desk staff specifically the evening woman is very unpleasant and rude. When you call front desk she will pretend the call dropped and then say the phone in the room isn’t working properly but the moment you go to the front desk she tries to act like nothing happened. Shout out to the engineer that helped us with moving our room because the a/c stopped working and fixed the tv in our new room.

The room was not clean as you can see the body hair and dust on the toilet and bathroom, and also some cereal on the carpet floor corner. The most important thing is the front desk staff was not friendly and irresponsible about the customer's request for room cleaning services. As we check in the front desk told me that they do the room cleaning service every other day, which is fine. The trash can in the room is very small after two-night stays before we go out in the morning, I called the front desk from the room telephone and asked for the maid services, and she said yes, we will get your room clean today. As on our way out I still stopped by the front desk and asked her again to arrange the maid service in our room, of course, she said Yes. By night at 10:30 PM when we came back to our room, it wasn't clean at all. I called the front desk immediately, and the answer I got was I didn't see any request here (WHAT?) and if you need clean towels you can come down here to get the towel and trash bag for the trash can. It seems the staffs there didn't care how frustrated we are when we saw our room wasn't clean and had no clean towels. We had to clean the room ourselves at night and dumped the trash can and went down to get the clean towels. we travel a lot, and this is the first time that I see a front desk staff could be so unfriendly and irresponsible to a customer's request. Will never stay here again.

Breakfast was so good that I’d recommend taking the time to have a seat and enjoy your morning. Rooms are nicely spacious for 2 Queen beds and the twin pull out, that my family of 5 were not crowded at all. Staff was very kind and responsive of all questions. When coming back to the DMV I will be staying here again.

We had a super comfortable and restful time. Room was large and good layout. Beds were comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast on weekends includes waffles. Weekdays just basic stuff. That could be better, maybe. We had an issue with noisy neighbors one night and staff took care of it right away. Very close to metro and easy to get to DC.

I liked that the hotel was convientently located closed to attractions and museum in Arlington. It was great to know that breakfast was included with the hotel stay. However, I did not like that it was the same breakfast everyday, and the eggs have cheese. A variety would have been grest considering my family and I stayed for six days.

Everything and everyone were great. We thought we were getting 2 queens, with a refrig and microwave. Instead, we got a suite which had a separate living area and a kitchenette (no stove). The room was spotless!!! The continental breakfast was really good. The only thing we couldn't do was swim in the pool the first two days (maintenance), but had a nice swim our last day.
