Bathroom had mold in shower, couldn’t turn down air conditioning and had to sleep with a sweater on. Outside door didn’t lock

Long check in (over 15 minutes.) Pass card would not open door by room, as stated. Heater did not work in room on arrival. View out window: extremely dirty window. Outside was littered with junk. The next day, pass card would not open door to room.

Key wasn’t keyed properly so I couldn’t get into my room without going to the office which was in a different building. Security pad for entering the building was not working so you didn’t need a card to get in. Coffee only available in other building starting at 7am.

Very scary at night. No lighted hotel name or sign. Looks abandoned with very large holes in the parking lot. Waited a long time for attendant to return to front desk so I could check in. Avoid it.

This place is a dump! The a/c didn't work. The drapes had holes in them. The walls had holes in them. The bathroom had black mold all over it. The parking lot had huge holes and the only security cameras weren't even connected. It smelled like pot in the hallways. Don't stay here!

This property is very run down! Safety lock, on main door that needs your room let to open, was inoperative. Curtains in all windows that we could see were hanging 1/4 to 1/2 off the rods. Outside of all single level buildings, with rooms, are in need of repair and paint. No deadbolt or safety chain on the room door. The room itself is very nice, the rest of the motel was in bad shape. The only time I've been VERY tempted to walk out and find another motel!

I was returning from the North Shore and I wanted to stop for the night I found this place on the internet and when I arrived it looked abandoned but there was a couple of people in the parking lot that assured me it was a operational hotel so I waited it out until I saw another person she was the on-site person she gave me a room and I went to bed every thing was quiet and smoke free checking out wasn’t a hassle and the complimentary breakfast wasn’t what I’ve seen in the past but it worked in the moment I was disappointed with the out of order on the ice machine but the desk lady told me how to get ice out of it so overall I think it was a good experience if you want the economy experience this is the place other places that are economically viable I’ve been cut by stepping on a broken crack pipes and who knows what the stuff on the walls was

The 1st room we had was in the 2 story bldg. The bldg is in need of an overhaul or needs to be torn down. It was bad. We opened the door and the non-smoking room smelled really bad. Went to the office to let them know about the smell as I didn't want them to charge a fine for smoking. The lady at the desk made note of it. Later, as we were watching TV, a tile fell off the ceiling. It was soaking wet. I went to the dresser to get my purse and the hole in the ceiling was dripping on my head. The carpet in the room felt wet or sicky on my feet also when we got there. A plug in outlet next to where the ceiling was leaking did not have a cover on it - not safe. I went back to the office and they put us in a much nicer room in the main bldg. If you stay at this hotel, you need to make sure to stay in a room with the higher ceilings, they are peobably the best. I did notice they did not have enough electrical outlets so they were using power strips to run the TV, microwave & frig. In my state, that would not pass a fire inspection. We did notice water stains on the ceiling of the 1st room but hoped they were a past problem. The smell alone should have had someone looking into the problems of the 1st room! The lady behind the counter that worked the night shift was very nice to me. The lady who worked the morning shift knew about our problems and was also nice. They have no employee working from about 1am-6am, so glad the problems didn't happen then.

So filthy! The shower had someone else's boogers on the shower curtain Along with dirt and mold along the bottom. All the soap containers were empty or had the wrong product in them very poor security

This place is as so filthy, hair on pillows and sheets, stains, bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. We didn’t stay and weren’t eligible for a refund. I feel ripped off. The staff couldn’t find confirmation from hotels.com so basically said we were on our own even with the receipt. Finally she “found” it after we had left then came back to sort it out. Stay away from this place. We ended up leaving and going to a different hotel. Waste of money. The pictures are a lie. Awful experience!

Our room had lamp that didn’t work! The microwave was missing the inside glass round plate! Only ONE tiny wastebasket! The shower shampoo was either empty or the receptacle did not work! The bathtub/shower was full of mildew and mold!! Looked better in pictures…very deceiving!!

Our tv didn't work, we had to ask for kleenex there was none in our room. There was no top sheet on my bed. The room did not appear cleaned.

This is by far, the dirtiest hotel I've ever seen. There were holes in the ceiling and what looked like mold growing around them. Furniture was ripped. After being in the room for 5 minutes, we did not feel comfortable staying there and checked out.

We had 2 rooms next to each other. Walked into room 1 and tv was on and felt like someone had been in there sitting on bed. Toilet didn’t work, NO towels and mouse droppings ALL OVER FLOOR. Room 2 had ONLY a bath mat and mouse droppings. We did not stay. Hotels.com helped me get a refund (waiting for it) and were very helpful as was the front desk staff at hotel. We were told they got new housekeeping staff and if that’s true they need to be fired.

This place should probably be shut down. I don’t think the rooms have been cleaned in years. There’s dust everywhere, trash in the corners, a fingernail in the bathroom, and cigarette burns on the carpet. The fridge was moldy, the microwave was dirty, and the desk was sticky everywhere. The rooms smell awful and musty and the “air freshener” in the halls is even worse. Their “breakfast” was burnt coffee, a couple granola bars, and warm fruit cups. The ONLY upside to this place was the woman working the front desk who was very friendly.

Room was extremely dirty and lights in the bathroom flashed on an off. Toilet was full of #2 when entering the room. No soaps in the shower. Unpleasant stay for sure

This hotel is old and shows its age, but for the price it was a good stay. It was a little cold in the room as the heating system is old as well. However the bed and bedding made up for everything else. Probably the most comfortable bed ive slept in for awhile and the sheets were so soft i looked at the tag and ordered a set for myself. All in all a good stay. Staff is super friendly but the breakfast is lacking to say the least.

Not able to control temp

It looked like things were ripped off the walls. Ceiling panels were missing. The ceiling was stained in multiple areas. The floor was like walking on a damp sponge. The shower drain barely drained, it only took about a minute before you're standing in a puddle. There was a bathroom light fixture on the wall by the beds, but it did not work. One of the lamps didn't work.

Pass key was hard to make work. Temp control was a joke. Room was clean. Wifi and TV worked well.

Not a very nice place. Lots of maintenance needs to be done. TV did not work. AC was poor. Terrible sign out front-very hard to see. Ice machine was bad. On top of all that, front desk person was not very nice. Not a place I would ever go back to.

It's the cheapest property in Hinckley, so you get what you pay for essentially. Just needed a room to sleep in. Was about 95°and ac was pretty much non functional

Property is old and not updated at all. We stayed in May and it was 45 degrees outside. There was no heat at all, no soap in the dispenser, asked for a second blanket, we never received it and the office was closed by the time we got back from the concert. Staff were friendly, and the bed was actually quite comfortable. Overall, it was quite spendy for the place, but it was a place to stay.

Rooms are outdated and do not look like the pictures. Bed frames, box springs and mattresses are out dated. Towels are old and need to be replaced. The ceiling tiles in the bathroom have mold growing and on the wall. The bathroom shower tile is falling off the walls and has mold. There is one electrical outlet for charging your cellphone. The tv has basic cable . You cannot regulate the temperature in the room, it is controlled by the office. There is nothing to eat for late night food, you better get some cold snacks that can be stored in the refrigerator.

Easy to get to. Super loud in room. It stormed. Could hear voices in other rooms.

Always friendly

Very close to horse show grounds. The customer service was excellent!! Maintenance took care of any issue on the spot! Everyone was so pleasant and great to work with!!

Front desk staff was great! Very personable and friendly. Made check in smooth and really set the overall extremely positive experience in motion. The room was perfect for what it was and it served the 'passing through on a budget' stay perfectly. The building is simply old and in need of some updates. I would stay here again with or without any updates. I felt safe, it was clean and the price was perfect.

Front desk lady was incompetent. Didn’t know how to use the computer. Took 20 minutes to check in and put me in a dirty room that had not been cleaned. Went back to get a different room and took another 15 minutes to get a different room due to front desk lady’s incompetence. Brutal experience and worst motel I have ever stayed in!

The check in lady/ manager is amazing! I loved chatting with her, made the stay a lot easier, thank you!

Mostly what we look for is convenience to our destination for the evening (if we have one, and we did) and the different amenities close by (food, gas), and this location offered it. Add to that the hot tub in the room...we had it made!

Extremely run down. Mold in bathroom. Carpets gross and stains on the mattress. Not worth the price at all. Very convenient location for amphitheater.....

We stay here for a concert at the casino. It was perfect since I didn’t want to pay the high casino prices. I had to came back and switch purses, it’s very close and convenient.

TV Remote didn’t work. No soap/shampoo in shower. Curtains rotting. Sloppy paint job everywhere. Toilet bowl dirty. No in room coffee. Breakfast paltry. Basic accommodations. Probably will stay elsewhere. Room just didn’t feel clean.

Staff was excellent. Cleanliness was better this stay then a month ago. Everything requires a call or visit to the front desk. Could be taken care of with a note in the room. Went without heat first night because thermostat is broken so you have to plug it in and its either all or nothing. Took a call to find out. No breakfast in lobby, after i asked was told that you have to ask at front desk for breakfast. But no note to let people know that. No one at front desk at 7 am to ask so felt like that was a run around answer. Bed was comfortable, is what it is, a cheap place to sleep.

This hotel is absolutely horrible. Mold was present in many colors all over the room. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was hanging on by a thread. No temperature adjustment in the room. Keycards work randomly for getting back in. The room had not been cleaned. We looked around and found a guy's wallet beside a chair from 3 years ago. Dental floss, food, money, all kinds of fun stuff that should be found during routine cleanings they obviously don't do. The breakfast included? Bad coffee and nature valley bars. Easily could've had a cleaner sleeping experience in the dumpster behind the hotel.

Bathtub was unusable dirty and looked like mold in it. Wife asked if they had any bread for toaster and they said no most people bring their own. Will never be back.

The property is very old and desperately in need of updating. Area seemed even some what sketchy/unsafe. Upon check in about 6 pm there was a sign at the front desk to please wait and they would return shortly. That’s fine and I get that. We waited about 20 minutes and no one ever came so we left to get a bite to eat and then came back and were able to check in. If they have to leave, it would be nice to note a return time. In the morning we went to get breakfast and NOTHING was out (I confirmed the breakfast at check in too). The morning front desk person said she never puts it out during the week because no one wants it! She offered us a granola bar. The bedding and room did seem clean, beds were ok and the AC worked. I wouldn’t stay here again but it was cheap ($63) so you get what you pay for!

The bed was very comfortable! Like the mid century vibe! The newer touches were great The older parts of it could use a little clean up! The tub drain was very slow! We were in room 12. Said they offered a continental, did not see anything there. We were offered coffee. All we really needed was a bed since passing through and that didn’t disappoint!

We had a late check in and was later than expected. I called and they said not a problem. We got there and found the room right away. We had our Granddaughter with us and she loved the reading lights attached to the beds, the extra pillows to prop her up. She could have read her book all night. The only disappointment was the reservation was for 2 adults & 2 children but there were only 2 bath towels for us. Since we arrived late & had to get up & take off early, 2 of us didn't get clean towels with our showers. Granola bars, juice & coffee in the lobby for breakfast. Loved the history that was shared at check-in. Alot of famous people stayed there back in the day.
