We had a great night and the beds were so comfortable. We felt like we were sleeping on clouds. This is exactly what a hotel stay should be like. The indoor pool was heated and was very nice to soak in a little bit before bed. The continental breakfast is really good and had some pretty good quality food.

Don’t stay here. It’s under renovation and a mess. They are still charging full price. I thought the elevator was going to collapse it sounded so rickety. The renovated room itself is nice comfy bed, soft sheets, great layout but until the entire hotel is complete I would suggest going elsewhere. I just stayed at a renovated HIE a few nights before and it was great so I am sure this will be too, it’s just a disaster now.

We were met by a closed lobby entrance due to constuction with woefully undersized signage directing us to the back and phone number if no one was there. A guest let us in a side entrance. Not a big deal unless youve already unpacked the car with two kids in tow. The night clerks tend to be in a small side office. There is no bell or direction on how to contact them. I tried to remain quiet and wait patiently until i had to raise my voice to announce our presence, and ask is anyone here. Again, not a big deal unless you just got off an interstate at 8:30PM after a marathon drive. Pool is very nice and warm. Room is large and generally clean. We did find out our in-room fridge was broken when opening it, and the floor flooded with defrost-water. It explained a hum we had in the room. It was a siezed compressor motor that was turning on, overheating, and tripping the internal breaker. That spooked me due to possible electrical fire, so i pulled the fridge out and unplugged it for the night and informed the front deak when we left in the morning. The free breakfast is large and nice, compared to any "free continenetal breakfast," but food is mass-produced and a little "meh." Seating is very limited during the rush. I have a theory that the breaksfast spread is not "free," since this room was about $70 more than comparable competition. Despite the complaints, I would stay here again after trying the other amenities-comparable location in Washington CH area.

The wife and I did enjoy our stay overall though with a few issues. One is more likely something most people will never experience but one that happen to me. Due to an injury to my right Achilles tendon, I have to use a knee scooter. The rugs throughout the hotel where very difficult to use my knee scooter on. It felt like I was pushing through mud just trying to go anywhere that had a rug. The other issue was no front entrance due to construction. I think IHG is doing a disservice to the hotel owner by taking so long to replace their front entrance. It made it difficult to check it as we had to go through a back door, through the breakfast area and down a short hall. I will say that the free morning breakfast was excellent and the ladies running it were very helpful and great at their job. The room was really nice and everything was very clean. So I would definitely stay their again but after my right foot is healed and after the front entrance is done.

We’ve stayed at this hotel several times. They have recently did a full renovation which is beautiful. Pool was great for kids. The power did go out the morning of our checkout probably related to still remodeling. Also housekeeping knocked 2 rimes! On our door morning of checkout even though checkout is at noon. It was annoying.

The hotel met all my expectations. The only issue was the construction that was going on at this location. More signage telling you to drive around back was needed. And parking areas had construction stuff and vehicles to dodge.

The appearance of the hotel was nice. The carpets in our room felt dirty and actually your shoes stuck to the floor. The shower curtain smelled mildewed. For the cost they could of had vending machine or snacks somewhere. We stayed at the holiday inn in circleville, Ohio much cleaner.

Room was fine. Didnt eat the breakfast. We reserved a king suite 3 to 4 weeks before the visit. When we got there they told us there was none available as they had gave them all to out of town workers and they wouldnt be available for some time. It was obvious that they had purposely given it to them to maximize profit over my one night stay. They downgraded me to a standard double and told me i would have to go through hotels.com to try and get a partial refund. It took me arguing with hotels.com for nearly 2 hours just to get a $25 credit.

Staff was awesome, very welcoming from front desk to cleaning crew. Friendly, helpful, quick to handle even the smallest detail. Beds were very comfortable. Next time in this area, this hotel is at the top of my list.

There was really only one negative to our stay. Myself and kids fell asleep in the room and when my husband came to our room at 1am, he wasn’t able to get in. He went to the front desk and said he needed a key for his room and the staff only asked what room number. They didn’t ask for id or even a last name. That is a huge safety concern and it’s very scary to think any strange person could have come into our room at 1am while me and my kids were sleeping. Other than that; everything was wonderful.

The hotel was about 2/3 under construction. It is hard to see how/why they are keeping it open while it is such a shambles. I paid a high price for this room, and did not have a nice place to sit outside the room. The room itself was nice. Staff was very nice when they were at the "reception desk" but often were not there, forcing my wife and I to sometimes open the locked outside door for guests checking in. Not great grab and go breakfast instead of the nice/fancy breakfast I was expecting for this price. I guess I need to call Holiday Inns in the future to see if they are under heavy construction before I book.

Parking was meh, but staff was awesome and they let us park so we could get to the car easily very early. We did a triathlon in the area and even came back to shower! Staff was great!

Great for an overnight road trip. The room 2 Queen beds was spacious clean w comfortable beds. Bathroom had the lighted mirror that you see in more upscale hotels. The pillow cases had embroidered “soft” and “hard” pillows, which was an upscale detail. Hotel surrounding property on farmland yet big box shops and restaurants nearby. Good experience here.

We had a great night and the beds were so comfortable. We felt like we were sleeping on clouds. This is exactly what a hotel stay should be like. The indoor pool was heated and was very nice to soak in a little bit before bed. The continental breakfast is really good and had some pretty good quality food.

All as I recall was good but there was no breakfast available this trip and I felt that they should have given guests a heads up. I would have slept in or left at a different time...It was a big disappointment that would have been easy to remedy.

We enjoy staying at this hotel every time we travel to see family in the midwest. The hotel room interior is very clean and modern. We appreciate the amenities that they offer with the hotel like the indoor pool, gym, and being pet friendly. However, it looks like they are going through some renovation as the whole second and parts of the first floor were off limits due to construction. We had to stay on the 3rd floor which was a little cumbersome due to our dogs needing to be let in and out. It also affected elements of the complimentary breakfast. They didn't have their normal spread as they've had in the past but they did offer some to-go bags for breakfast. The front desk was also moved to the back due to the makeover so you'll need to drive around back to check in. All in all, even with the construction going on, the room was great, quiet, and the pool made our family happy. We'll definitely stop here again when we travel this way again.

Picked this hotel because we had such a pleasant stay one year ago. The previous day the breakfast was delicious and fresh this day the breakfast was stale, watered down,and bland. The bed was comfortable .The sheets were scratchy. The bathroom soap smelled like my grandmother and her friends. Would rather have a less perfumey soap.

Hotel canceled reservation while we were on the way no call to let us know. They had card on file but stated it was for non payment although we chose the pay at property option. We arrive at 11 after driving 12 hrs with 2 toddlers. They sold our rooms and states hotel was booked. No hotels with availability within a hr of us.The staff wad awful did not care that they left us stranded sleeping in our CAR. She was unhelpful and rude. Apparently they did this to more than one room and a few of us were left with no where to go. This made no sense whatsoever for why they did it but realized there was a even so im sure it was bc we got the price cheaper and they wanted to charge others alot more so they gave our room away. Then a man walked in after calling asking for a room they told him to come in and check. We just had a short overnight stay, but the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming when we got there in the evening, and every encounter throughout. We used the pool,and the water was nice and warm, and since it was a little later, not too busy. The property itself was updated, beds comfortable... I didn't see a coffee maker in the individual rooms, but there was coffee in the lobby. The rooms were nice, just darker than what I am used to - I think maybe the desk lamp was going out because it was really dim. We did not open the blinds since we were on the first floor. The breakfast was pretty good - there was a wide range of foods available, and even my youngest who is the world's pickiest eater, found enough to eat. More a regular hotel breakfast than continental. What really made our stay was the friendly staff; I was bringing food back to our room and one of the staff workers (Anngel) noticed I had my hands full and asked if I wanted a tray and went and got me one- I had completely missed them. Fast forward to about 2 hrs later - I needed to look in the trash can for my daughter's medicine that I had accidentally thrown away. Anngel said no problem, went and got gloves and refused to let me search the can for it; I had to beg her to let me help her. Thankfully Anngel found it; my daughter could have had a seizure without it. I don't think I have ever in my life had someone so willing to dig through trash for someone who accidentally threw something away.
