Our room was spacious. All furniture required was there. Cooking equipment and crockery/cutlery adequate. The wall heater and fan heater did not work. Some dishes weren't clean. Dirty around oven top. No dishwasher powder. Alot of traffic noise, but that was to be expected for location. Poor wifi signal.

The oven is a hazard. Does not work properly, no markings on dials and unbeknown to us the grill came on automatically when we turned the power on at the wall and almost created a fire. The pillows are about 1cm thick. I woke up with a sore neck and a headache. Had to go out and buy a pillow to avoid this the next night. Other than that, the place was clean and tidy and the free offstreet parking was great..

This accommodation was very unsatisfactory. It was dirty and very run down. We had no heaters until we asked for some and the whole interior was unhygienic and below standard. Dirty cofee mugs, hair in the bed, dirty shower, mould, drawings on the wall, dirty sock on the ground and bad smelling. This was a really bsd experience.

The property was fine for the price. However, certain areas could do with a spruce up. Bed was comfortable and clean, the only real downside was that the Wi-Fi wouldn't work on our last morning.

For the price its great for a couple of nights, easy access to the motorway if your traveling to Wellington, Stokes Valley etc, Petone is just around the corner. The downside is the Traffic noise is non stop any time of day or night. The driveway needs addressing as you will bottom out when exiting if your aint carefull. The carpet in my room stunk from possibly the carpet, there must have been a flood at some point. The carpet needs ripping out and the room a good airing. The shower curtain had mold and needs replacing. Where was the tea towel or dishwashing liquid to wash the dishes. Very poor signal for Netflix, Amazon Prime and YouTube on the TV. They all kept losing signal halfway through a show or movie.

Conveniently located but noisy until late at night and then early in the morning. Room was average at best. There was no tea, coffee. milk or sugar so had to go to a neighbouring set of motels run by the same outfit to ask. Tea bags and coffee eventually were delivered to the room but still waiting on the milk. To check in you have to go to the other set of motels , the same with handing back the key at the end of the stay. I would not normally stay here by choice.

I had crisp clean sheets, which is normal. The shower curtain was moldy and needed cleaning or replacing. The TV didn't work well. I asked for new batteries for the remote, and was given batteries from another remote. I still couldnt get the TV to work properly. The lino is badly laid in the bathroom and toilet, which would make it difficult and time-consuming to clean well. I don't know what the other rooms are like. I was in Room 16.

Unfortunately my families stay was far from good. There was mould on the ceilings and window sills, the oven was filthy, the kitchen floor was sticky and slippery and it had not been mopped. The bathroom floor was just as sticky. The carpets too were sticky and needed a proper carpet clean,our white socks turned black just from walking on the carpet Broken dusty curtains. Lack of cutlery, pots and pans. Broken door handles.! No housekeeping was done at all, the heating was minimal that we had to use the dirty oven to heat the room. Overall terrible.

Room cleanliness was non existent even when we had to wait for the staff to clean before we entered. There were kitchen facilities but no pots or pans to cook with. Plates etc and cutlery were dirty. Neither of the lights in the bathroom worked, one was missing the bulb completely. Mould on the inside of the shower head. Honestly wish I had checked the reviews before staying here. Definitely would not recommend in current state.

First arrived to realise you have to walk 100m down the road to get key. Room wasn’t even ready as it still hadn’t been cleaned. Room was absolutely disgusting. Bath tub looks like it had an old shower mat in there previously and had left dirt marks all over the bath tub floor. Absolutely gross will never be staying here again & most definitely would not recommend staying here either.

Co joined motels .hand written note in a window to redirect you. Then a phone call with a promise of a few minutes..20 minutes later we were given a key went to the room dirty carpets and old smokey smell with too moch cologne to cover. Light above bed didn't work, no extractor in bathroom so everything foggy, I felt ever movement my partner made when in bed it was so soft. Only 1 glass and 1fork to share. Couch was hard and uncomfortable. Tv remote didn't work until we stretched out springs so batteries had connections.

Although somewhat dated, the property was good and had all the necessary facilities. It was a shame that the kitchen was dirty and needed a good clean. Otherwise the property would have been great. However the Supervisor was very apologetic and upgraded us to better and cleaner accommodation at no extra cost. We were very grateful and in turn had an awesome stay!

Very confusing check-in as office was unattended. Had to go to neighbouring motel to collect key. It was a warm evening and the fan in the room didn't work (it was too late to let reception know), we accidently spilt water on the carpet so put a bath towel on it to wipe it up..ewwww yuk..white towel was FILTHY from the FILTHY carpet. BUT.. the water pressure in the shower was great and the bed was comfortable.

I booked a reservation. Took out a cancellation plan incase, I was on holiday in Gisborne. I Had to change the date of my booking, because I couldn’t travel to Wellington due to the Wairoa flood. They weren’t helpful at all, & there was no refund, so they kept my $183

I arrived very late (0200am) and I had to walk to the other side of the lodge to get the room key at that time🙆♀️🙆♀️🙆♀️💔💔💔. It’s not good for first timers. Scary as hell. They should find ways to keep keys within property for clients. PLEASE.. Found the room not cleaned. They did clean the next day and didn’t bother cleaning again for the next 2 days I stayed there. They should have wifi passwords in the rooms. I had to wait for the following day to get the password to let my family know I was safe. I believe the place has a lot of potential

There were people walking arouns the property drinking. Also check in says 1pm i was there at 1 and didnt get key till 1.45 as the room wasnt ready also a cery large truck was blocking the driveway made it very hard for access when the truck is there. Very poor service wouldnt recommend
There were people walking arouns the property drinking. Also check in says 1pm i was there at 1 and didnt get key till 1.45 as the room wasnt ready also a cery large truck was blocking the driveway made it very hard for access when the truck is there. Very poor service wouldnt recommend

Conveniently located but noisy until late at night and then early in the morning. Room was average at best. There was no tea, coffee. milk or sugar so had to go to a neighbouring set of motels run by the same outfit to ask. Tea bags and coffee eventually were delivered to the room but still waiting on the milk. To check in you have to go to the other set of motels , the same with handing back the key at the end of the stay. I would not normally stay here by choice.

Our room was spacious. All furniture required was there. Cooking equipment and crockery/cutlery adequate. The wall heater and fan heater did not work. Some dishes weren't clean. Dirty around oven top. No dishwasher powder. Alot of traffic noise, but that was to be expected for location. Poor wifi signal.

For the price its great for a couple of nights, easy access to the motorway if your traveling to Wellington, Stokes Valley etc, Petone is just around the corner. The downside is the Traffic noise is non stop any time of day or night. The driveway needs addressing as you will bottom out when exiting if your aint carefull. The carpet in my room stunk from possibly the carpet, there must have been a flood at some point. The carpet needs ripping out and the room a good airing. The shower curtain had mold and needs replacing. Where was the tea towel or dishwashing liquid to wash the dishes. Very poor signal for Netflix, Amazon Prime and YouTube on the TV. They all kept losing signal halfway through a show or movie.

The property is clean but needs lots more TLC. The bathroom looks quite new and the kitchen was in good condition also. Having a hot plate and cooking equipment was nice but would have liked a table and chairs to sit at to eat. The front door was old, draughty and generally very flimsy and not secure. There is no noise insultion, so you can hear your neighbours quite clearly. Its one of 3 motels on the road and you have to collect keys at a different location. Not a place I would recommend.

The room looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time. The dishcloth stank. The bathroom was so dirty. There were marks in the bedding and under the bed and couches were not clean. We found old tissues and other stuff.

This wasn’t very well run had to go to another property to collect the keys , rooms smell like smoker has been in then & have just painted to mask the smell we had been lucky the bedding was clean Holds in door, ceiling and mould around windows, and the was a wire sticking out of the mattress which left me with an injured leg. And if you want to ask any dishers it has to be don’t in the bathroom sink The dish liquid wash in a pump bottle that looked like it had been pulled out of the bin!
