If you're looking to escape the crowd then I highly recommend Roffey Park. It's got all the facilities you'd expect of a hotel but as it a working educational institute it's very peaceful. I had a view out to girls and the forest beyond No rowdy parties or noisy neighbours. Food was super even when just ordering from the bar menu. All the staff are lovely. Swimming pool is fantastic and barely used do you can sit in the jacuzzi and fully relax without z rsbbld of people chatting away gherkin t you normally at hotels

Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool was beautiful and (when I was there) very quiet. There's also a small sauna and steam room, and a tiny (but perfectly formed) gym, Excellent breakfast selection, and again staff very helpful, even with late arriving guests. The bar menu was limited, but delicious. Had one of the best curries I've ever had there. It's a very convenient distance from Gatwick by car, so well worth staying at for an overnight before a journey. Delightful place. Would thoroughly recommend.

Fast check-in to a spacious and clean room. Great facilities for working (fast wifi), small gym and pool, and a good restaurant offer. A good range of hot and cold breakfast items too. Did not need to leave the Park at all...everything we needed was there for working, relaxing, and dining.

Room was spacious, lovely bathroom. 8 minute drive to Horsham town. Breakfast buffet excellent. Loved the complimentary refreshments around hotel. Nice pool, steam wasn’t working well at time.

Training venue that also opens as a hotel. I just stayed for one night for a business trip stop over. Staff were all nice and helpful, room was large and spacious and had everything you would need and was very clean. Site is in some lovely grounds with walking trails. Pool and hot tub are also nice, but not staffed, you just go in and help yourself. Watched the football in the bar area and food was really good, as was breakfast.

Ideal for a midweek stopover. Good sized rooms with a desk and plenty of usb power outputs. With a gym, pool and 40 acres of grounds there's loads of space to clear the head after a busy day. Breakfast was fresh with good variety. If they can keep the prices within budget it may well become my 1st choice when visiting the area.

On arrival there was lots of free parking available on property which was great. The receptionist on arrival was so pleasant and helpful. I sadly don't have her name but I know she was ex BA crew and she was just amazing. She ensured my room was in a quiet location with a nice view of the fields. The decor was simple but the rooms were really spacious which was brilliant. The rooms were clean and the whole place seemed spotless. They had a small gym which was ideal for me. They also had a pool/sauna/steam etc but it never seemed to be switched on at the right times so sadly I didn't get to enjoy this really. The breakfast which was included was amazing. As were the friendly staff who served you. Most of the staff here were welcoming and polite. They were a couple I encountered who weren't as nice but it seems every business has the odd member of staff who isn't ideal for customer facing roles. As a whole though I really loved this place. My room was quiet, spacious and clean, what more could I ask for. The onsite gym and spa facilities an added bonus. As was the included breakfast which had a good selection and was served by the nicest people, it was a man and a lady. Again I sadly do not have the names but everyday they had a smile for everybody. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to family, friends and colleagues. Thank you to all those who made it a such a lovely stay.

I used Roffey Park as a stop over on my way North after a few days on the South Coast. What a gem of a place it is. Situated in woodland with extensive grounds which is quiet and relaxing. There is a pool and gym, nice bar area and a brilliant breakfast. The room was quite large very well appointed with a large super clean bathroom. 95 out of 100. Bed was just a tad too firm for me otherwise it would have been 100%

I liked the pool, the small gym and the service was excellent. I was less impressed by the noise of what I think are delegates talking loudly in the corridors at gone midnight. The mattress on the bed was very cheap and obviously designed to last 50 years; the heater in the room did not come on overnight and was not on in the morning, so the room was cold and still. The evening food was good, and the breakfast food was good and I appreciated the various water machines around the place as there was no in room water. Overall, a decent stay and I thought the staff were very helpful.

Nice place with friendly and helpful staff. We stayed for one night only. A pleasant stay with a nice breakfast. Only downside is that all bedrooms have just a double bed. A kingsize bed is far preferable for us.

Great stay! We were not expecting too much based on the price but we were wrong. Natalie (I’m sure thats right) on reception greeted us and had some great tips for us on the local area (and Disney! Thanks for those too). The room was large and clean. Tv was excellent. Ceiling fan was a god send. Pool area very nice and refreshing after a hot day. Can’t even fault the buffet breakfast which was very tasty. Would most definitely stay again in in the area. Thanks!

Not very relaxing as I wasn't on a business trip. Not enough of a critical mass of non business trip guests to feel comfortable (I only spotted one other individual not in a group). Mostly just felt at odds with the surroundings. Spacious room with limited natural light was too dimmly lit (even with lampshades on) to relax in, so had to go to lounge bar area to spend time in, which wasn't my preferred choice.

It is a lovely place to stay and will definitely use again when travelling. I would really like to compliment the receptionist who went beyond what she had to do. As she realised I was disabled my room was moved to save me walking, I did ask if there was room service, which is not available but to stop me trying to walk she took my order and delivered it to my door for me. This was such a lovely gesture for someone she did not know and nothing was to much trouble.

Was a bit disappointed with Roffey Park Venue overall. Got my feet burned by the ridiculously difficult to use shower m. Also they didn’t do a wake up call which was annoying as my phone isn’t always reliable for waking me up. Food and drink at the hotel was expensive and there wasn’t a large range of beverages to choose from. Probably good to stay at if you’re there for a work conference but overall not great if you’re on holiday and flying from Gatwick, might as well stay in a holiday inn as they’re a bit more tried and tested.

Great stay! I didn’t check the timings for breakfast & arrived 20 mins after it closes. The lovely ladies told me not to worry & put something together for me. Great service. Thank you!

Me and my family where catered for from start to finish. Fantastic Staff , Food and comfort at the quiet retreat. Definitely be going back in the future. Kimberley the receptionists sorted my booking out as I'd booked for the week after by mistake. 5 stars all round thank you guy's ❤️

I used Roffey Park as a stop over on my way North after a few days on the South Coast. What a gem of a place it is. Situated in woodland with extensive grounds which is quiet and relaxing. There is a pool and gym, nice bar area and a brilliant breakfast. The room was quite large very well appointed with a large super clean bathroom. 95 out of 100. Bed was just a tad too firm for me otherwise it would have been 100%

Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool was beautiful and (when I was there) very quiet. There's also a small sauna and steam room, and a tiny (but perfectly formed) gym, Excellent breakfast selection, and again staff very helpful, even with late arriving guests. The bar menu was limited, but delicious. Had one of the best curries I've ever had there. It's a very convenient distance from Gatwick by car, so well worth staying at for an overnight before a journey. Delightful place. Would thoroughly recommend.

Room was spacious, lovely bathroom. 8 minute drive to Horsham town. Breakfast buffet excellent. Loved the complimentary refreshments around hotel. Nice pool, steam wasn’t working well at time.

Great stay! We were not expecting too much based on the price but we were wrong. Natalie (I’m sure thats right) on reception greeted us and had some great tips for us on the local area (and Disney! Thanks for those too). The room was large and clean. Tv was excellent. Ceiling fan was a god send. Pool area very nice and refreshing after a hot day. Can’t even fault the buffet breakfast which was very tasty. Would most definitely stay again in in the area. Thanks!

Was a bit disappointed with Roffey Park Venue overall. Got my feet burned by the ridiculously difficult to use shower m. Also they didn’t do a wake up call which was annoying as my phone isn’t always reliable for waking me up. Food and drink at the hotel was expensive and there wasn’t a large range of beverages to choose from. Probably good to stay at if you’re there for a work conference but overall not great if you’re on holiday and flying from Gatwick, might as well stay in a holiday inn as they’re a bit more tried and tested.

Booked our overnight stay before an early flight from Gatwick. My husband emailed the hotel in advance to enquire about dinner at the restaurant. He was informed that meals will be available but only to find out when we arrived that the restaurant was close. The only food available was from the bar which had limited options. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned thoroughly since the bin has not been emptied. Apart from these, the hotel’s location is convenient to what we need.

The staff were nice and friendly and helpful. The suroundings around the rooms within the hotel were excellent, amazing actually. Vast of space around, with open view and all that. Lots of functional rooms available for guest to use. But most of them have some kind usused smell around them, not freshening enough for ordinary use. Nice little swimming pool was available for reasonable lanes swimming exercise which provided a nice experience. Overall, the hotel seems like a hidden gem in the middle of some forest or something. Could be done up with a higher level of maintainence to provide a higher star service.

Lovely peaceful relaxing stay, .Nat and Ricci in restaurant and Nicola on reception all going out of their way to be very helpful...thankyou Food was tasty... Just a few tiny maintenance jobs but were sorted very quickly... Lovely place and the grounds and walks were beautiful. Will def go again.. Best part was the unlimited tea and coffee stations...
