Conveniently located, large lawn area with pucnic tables, outdoor pool. Property is definitely showing it's age. Free breakfast was okay but the space wasn't large enough for the amount of people eating there.

Large room with two beds, a kitchen corner and good sized bathroom. Motel style with parking outside the door. Decent breakfast served in the bar - but with limited seating and the room is long and narrow so gets a bit congested round the buffet area. Good selection of bar drinks and the barman was friendly and helpful. All areas very clean and nice touches with pots of plants along the walkway. I would stay here again.

A great no-nonsense place to stay, the suite was quiet spacious and amenities were great. Plenty of parking. Lobby bar (Uptown Lounge) was a nice smaller spot for late night activity. Great location to be just outside of Charlottetown.

The property was clean, I loved that they were lots of options to sit outside, especially in the summer months. The outdoor pool was a bonus. Free breakfast with a fair amount of options. The location was very convenient to shops and restaurants.

Typical motel style, drive up to your room which makes unloading and load convenient. Staff was friendly and check-in was easy. The room was just a room, nothing fancy but then I’m not hanging out in the room so it was not an issue. Fridge(with freezer) was in the room along with a coffee maker and microwave. TV was confusing and we only managed to access Roko tv which was annoying but whatever. The beds seemed rickety but they were actually very comfortable and we slept great. Walls are quite thin between units so you hear all the noise from other rooms. The breakfast which is included was all you need to start the day. Eating in the restaurant “Uptown lounge” was surprisingly fabulous, food was delicious and you get a 5% discount on all food items if you’re staying there. Didn’t use the pool but it looked great annd lots of people were using it. All in all it was a good deal and would stay there again.

The staff was nice and the property was decent overall. A little disappointed with the room as the bathroom had issues like a whining shower head, a very slow draining sink and a toilet that had very little water pressure. Our sheets also had small stains on them.

Bathtub grouting and presentation was absolutely gross. The carpeting on the floor was stained and the freezer was full of frost. The dining room was old and in need of an update. I am appalled that you can charge people with such poor conditions. Soooo very disappointed. I am a senior and my money is hard earned. I wasted it staying with you.

This place is a dump! Mold on ceiling in bathroom, toilet rocked back and forth, moldings all beat up, 'clean' towels had black oil stains on them. No house keeping provided for 2 night stay. Breakfast was just okay, but very dark cramped eating area, and had to wait for an open table. NOT worth over $200 a night!

I guess you get what you paid for. However it’s not really cheap! Close to 250/night! I didn’t check the bed sheet on the first night and on next morning I saw yellow stains smell like pee. Really grossed me out!! I asked for a new bedsheet. The staffs are friendly. The hotel/motel is pet friendly. Oh my husband and kids enjoyed their breakfast so that’s a plus!

Yes that probably was very nice and the safe was very nice easy check in process. What I didn’t like about the room is the jet tub was so loud that the water flew out and flooded my room. So I couldn’t enjoy it even tho I payed extra to have that experience. The room as far as the bedding and bathroom was clean. But behide the sink was dirty bass boards very dirty and the floor had puddy plaster on the floor after someone tryed to fix is issue and the floor was soft in one stop because of the jet tub. Overall nice room. But kinda sad about the jet tub i wish i would have got the opportunity to use it.

The hotel has a 24 hour cancellation policy but they refused to honor that, even though I cancelled my last night more than48 hours in advance. I was told by the desk that they could not refund me, it would have to be the manager. The manager was not in when I checked out. He was supposed to be in on Monday. I called three days in succession and he “wasn’t in”. I left a voice mail on his direct line and he never returned the call. It was always our go-to accommodation in Charlottetown but next time we will stay next door at Rodds.

Was given wrong room, they fixed it but we were missing towels and robes, the daytime staff was great she helped us and apologized , the nighttime employee was not near as nice and welcoming

I do not write reviews too often and usually only if I have a positive experience to share. In this case, I have to write a negative review. The name of this hotel suggests that you should be getting a good value for your money. We did look for a good price and were well aware that you usually get what you pay for. Nevertheless, if if knew what we were getting, we would not pay for it. The worst part was the breakfast which was provided in the restaurant in the main building. We were staying for two nights but after the first night, we opted to have the breakfast away from the hotel as the cleanliness of the restaurant and hygiene practices at the restaurant were too questionable to risk it twice. This was for sure our first and LAST visit to this hotels, especially after we shared our experience with our friends and they told us that they had very similar, if not same, experience with this hotel at a completely different location.

The beds were very comfortable. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay here again. Reasonable price for the room as well.

Worst hotel by far. We did not get the room we booked, two queen beds, but we’re “upgraded” to a “deluxe” suite with two beds and a kitchen area. Dishes were dirty. Cutlery had peanut butter on the knives. Functioning oven but no oven mitts and one dirty, rusty baking tray. Light burned out above kitchen area (which the housekeeping staff replaced immediately). Tv did not work - picture was dark and the sound kept cutting in and out. Mould on bathroom ceiling and on hair dryer cord. Every chair had torn Naugahyde with exposed foam. All furniture showed signs of severe wear. It looked like yard sale furniture. This was the most expensive hotel we paid for on our two week trip and it was by far the worst. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and clean. While the shower spray was weak, there was plenty of hot water and clean towels. Front desk staff and housekeeping staff were terrific.
