Lake View of Tenkiller State Park

We have always had great experiences with hotels.com but this was a little rough. This place is not very well kept up. One of the closet doors upstairs was missing. The wood interior needs refinishing because there are a lot of blemishes and not in a fun rustic way. More like your old aunt’s home that is unkept. The wood kitchen cabinet has lots of grime where they have been touched over the years. Beware, the stairs are narrow and steep, so you need to be agile to get to the bedrooms. When we arrived, the dishwasher was full, so we didn’t touch it and left our dishes in the sink. All the towels were in the dryer partially dried. The white towels were highly stained and if they weren’t in the dryer when we arrived, I would have questioned if they were clean. This property needs work! Missing and broken blinds/curtains in living room, kitchen and one bedroom. We had to put bedding over windows and sliding glass doors to add keep. The fridge was dirty. Not the best experience.
