Firstly its under new management, they only took over 2 weeks ago. The room was lovely,very quaint with a massive bed (room No7) The staff from arriving until leaving this morning were very attentive chatty and friendly. We had a first class meal last night and the price was very very reasonable. Our cooked breakfast this morning was also first class, and there was no rushto leave them. Plumpton racecourse is 7 miles away, making The bull on the green an ideal location.

The room was lovely,very quaint with a massive bed (room No7) The staff from arriving until leaving this morning were very attentive chatty and friendly. We had a first class meal last night and the price was very very reasonable. Our cooked breakfast this morning was also first class, and there was no rushto leave them. Plumpton racecourse is 7 miles away, making The bull on the green an ideal location.

Cleverly decorated with good supplies (apart from drinkable tap water). It was cosy and well heated, which was just as well as the shower was rubbish (freezing cold with low pressure) and the room is separate to the hotel - the door opens directly onto the carpark

The property was in a great location and the staff excellent. The only downside was that we were not informed it was a shared entrance and at 01:30 a couple opened the door (making plenty of noise), this left us bewildered and on edge for the rest of the night.

This is a nice pub and the food was good. But our room was very small for two people, cramped, stuffy even with the window open, and inconvenient. The bathroom down the corridor needed attention - toilet seat almost falling off, and the shower control didn't work properly. We were in room 8, and users of the adjoining room 9 shared the outside door which they didn't keep locked although we had to use the hall to get to our bathroom.

The staff were lovely. Great check in. Great breakfast. Lovely vibes - thank you. Breakfast was fabulous and excellent value. Room spotless. Only minor gripe are the softness of the beds but at this price, it is excellent value.

Booking in, the bar manager was quite rude. Nothing in the room made the accommodation deluxe. Comfortable bed,but all beds should be comfortable. Put my elderly mum on a different floor to myself,when there were no other guests staying. Didn't feel safe as the locks had been taken out of the outer door. Missing light. Someone else's towel left on the door hanger. Toilet squeezed in by the shower. Things reported but no answers given. Very disappointed as the stay was a treat for my mum's birthday. Not a friendly atmosphere.....Nice Bakery next door and lovely cafe up the road.

Our room was dusty, tiny, net curtain ripped at the bottom. Room Number 8 - Very bad standard with hair in the shower. The bathroom was down the stairs and nothing was changed when host saw I was on a crutch and a ski boot! No toilet roll or bath mat. Two conditioners and no shampoo. No hairdryer either! The bed was so bad and uneven that I fell out twice. What else do you need to know. For £100 plus breakfast I would expect more.

The Bull is fantastic! Our room was clean and comfortable and had little quirky bits like the unusual bedside lamps. The bathroom was really clean (very importantly)! Continental breakfast was provided with the room and that was delicious! Really lovely service too!

The room was absolutely fine, albeit not particularly well insulated from the sound of other guests. I was a little disappointed with the food. Service was fine but my meal was no than average pub fare. I'm pretty sure my burger had been frozen at some time in its' life and would have expected something with a bit more flavour and a little less chew. I would certainly stay again though.

Great location and one member of staff, Raine, went beyond efficient and helpful when room wasn't to our liking! Rooms terribly small and poor ventilation options for room 1. Room 9 better by far but only v hot water shower, and when windows shut for security at night could t be reopened. Hats off to staff. Only small people should stay here.

Everything was just ok. Executive double room was the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in and with the oldest en-suite. Staff were nice and food was good.

The accommodation was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. My stay was spoilt by a group of guests who had little and no concern for other guest and continued to be loud and and creating noise into the early hours making for a pour nights sleep. This was capped with a couple of the said guest creating a fire in their room and activating the fire alarms at 3am in the morning and waking all the other guest who were forced to evacuate their rooms. A group of unthoughtful and rude individuals that spoiled what would have been a good stay.

The Bull is a quaint pub with an accommodation block at the rear. My room has to be one of the smallest I’ve ever encountered. The main room was so small that the double bed only just fitted with a side table on each side. There was no other furniture in the room because there was no space. It’s annoying when you need to work. The bathroom was equally tiny with small shower cubicle. The door from the bedroom to the bathroom could only be partially opened as it snagged on the basin. The food was disappointing although the service was friendly. Breakfast was much better. Overall, I’m not sure I would return to the Bull on the Green.

Great location and one member of staff, Raine, went beyond efficient and helpful when room wasn't to our liking! Rooms terribly small and poor ventilation options for room 1. Room 9 better by far but only v hot water shower, and when windows shut for security at night could t be reopened. Hats off to staff. Only small people should stay here.

Friendly staff, comfortable room, nice furnishings and pub situated in a pretty village. I was able to eat in the restaurant too. Although I think it was a little expensive. The continental breakfast was more than adequate but there was an extra cost for a cooked brekkie

The property was in a great location and the staff excellent. The only downside was that we were not informed it was a shared entrance and at 01:30 a couple opened the door (making plenty of noise), this left us bewildered and on edge for the rest of the night.

The staff were lovely. Great check in. Great breakfast. Lovely vibes - thank you. Breakfast was fabulous and excellent value. Room spotless. Only minor gripe are the softness of the beds but at this price, it is excellent value.

The room was absolutely fine, albeit not particularly well insulated from the sound of other guests. I was a little disappointed with the food. Service was fine but my meal was no than average pub fare. I'm pretty sure my burger had been frozen at some time in its' life and would have expected something with a bit more flavour and a little less chew. I would certainly stay again though.

The room was sparkling clean, the bathroom exceptionally clean.the food was fine bit of a wait though for cooked breakfast.

The Bull is a quaint pub with an accommodation block at the rear. My room has to be one of the smallest I’ve ever encountered. The main room was so small that the double bed only just fitted with a side table on each side. There was no other furniture in the room because there was no space. It’s annoying when you need to work. The bathroom was equally tiny with small shower cubicle. The door from the bedroom to the bathroom could only be partially opened as it snagged on the basin. The food was disappointing although the service was friendly. Breakfast was much better. Overall, I’m not sure I would return to the Bull on the Green.

Nice and friendly staff. Breakfast was good. The room was spacious, however a bit warm as there was no AC and outside temperature was above 30C, lucky the room was equipped with an electric fan.

We received a friendly welcome and were shown to our room in an outside building. Sadly had to get a member of staff back as the toilet had not been cleaned at all. Pub was very quiet for a Saturday. As for the Sunday, we had an evening meal elsewhere whilst out and aimed to drop into the pub to request some more milk and teabags for the room and found the pub already shut. Was advised next day it shuts by 6 on a Sunday. Luckily we had other drinks. Would have been nice to have known this in advance. On returning to the room found a blind over one of the skylights was broken. Food on offer for breakfast was good. Evening menu is very expensive and not a typical pub menu.

When we got some paper napkins to clean the chest of drawers where the TV was it came away very dirty! (I had noticed it wasn’t clean). Same with the side tables. The carpet was also unappealing - old and stained as were the decorative cushions - one with a very large stain.
