The cabins did not look promising from the outside. However the interior was good enough for me…though the toilet was a tad too small. Breakfast could have more variety & hours extended. To start packing up at 930 am was not too appealing to me. Overall, a good stay.

We booked this “Resort” and expected to have dinner and fresh water.On arrival we were told it was another 30 km round trip to book dinner and more buy fresh water,other than the small bottle they provided. This accomodation is a Wilderness Retreat and should be advertised as such. One day after complaining and checking out they sent a note explained what type of accomodation they really were.

Amazing distant ocean, Freycinet and Coles Bay views from this property on top of a ridge in the middle of the bush. Very helpful and friendly staff for the 8 available small cabins. I hope the property gradually expands provide more facilities.

This was a great place to stay. No restaurant on property, so plan accordingly for dinner, but the studios were really cute and had what you needed. Sunrises were spectacular on the hilltop

Property is a little tricky to get to but the views were amazing. Food and service was excellent at both dinner and breakfast and the lounge/dining was comfortable and warm. Rooms were basic and cosy but also comfortable.

Location is beautiful but the rooms are overpriced considering their quality (tiny shower, mediocre bed,, limited amenities,…The property is under construction and despite the staff efforts, this is not a luxury resort. Food at the restaurant is excellent but service is slow and underwhelming . Not a bad experience overall but not matching the price you are paying.

We enjoyed our stay in the villa so much. The villa is nice and clean with all amenities available for us. The view is fantastic for sunset. The breakfast is simple but good. Can definitely feel staff’s’ dedication from the freshness of foods and set out of the dining room. The staff is very friendly and sweet. I hope all the best to this resort. And I will return if I go to Coles bay again.

If I could give more stars I would. Cabin 9 is extremely well appointed, clean and the view is breathtaking. The staff were amazing. Can not fault at all.

Beautiful chalet, very clean, kitchenette, games, telescope, the most amazing views ever, watched the sunrise over the ocean from our bed. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Delicious breakfast included. 15 minute drive to Coles Bay and start of Wine Glass Bay walking tracks. Highly recommend this as a place to stay if in the Frecinet area.

Was in a beautiful area. Super long driveway on dirt. (Tricky in the rain) woke up to incredible sunrise from our very comfortable bed. The continental breakfast (not buffet as stated) was really yum plenty of choices. The only real disappointment and reason why we wouldn’t go back was the bathroom was extremely small. The rooms are not resort quality they are actual dongers. Was a bit misleading. We slept well just not what we expected.

Had we known how stunning the cottage we stayed in was, we would have booked many more days. The views were spectacular, the special touches like fresh herbs, a chilled jug of water, the telescope and the luxurious experience was truly amazing. We are planning to come back for a much longer stay - the most special place we have ever stayed.

Unreal views, peaceful and truely tranquil. If you’re looking for a big hotel room with all the amenities like a big city hotel then you’re going to be disappointed. But if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway to get in touch with yourself, nature, see the stars at night while wildlife surrounds you then you’re looking at the right place. The accomodation restaurant is also delicious, breakfast was satisfying and filled us up. Staff were friendly and really helpful.

The Freycinet Resort was a great experience for us and our best stay in Tasmania. The individual living unit had everything we needed, great comfort and views. The sunrise and animal viewing from the deck was spectacular. The staff was friendly, delivering popcorn to our room to helping with information at breakfast. The gravel drive and isolation may not be for some but was what we needed.

The Freycinet Resort was a great experience for us and our best stay in Tasmania. The individual living unit had everything we needed, great comfort and views. The sunrise and animal viewing from the deck was spectacular. The staff was friendly, delivering popcorn to our room to helping with information at breakfast. The gravel drive and isolation may not be for some but was what we needed.

This was a great place to stay. No restaurant on property, so plan accordingly for dinner, but the studios were really cute and had what you needed. Sunrises were spectacular on the hilltop

Property is a little tricky to get to but the views were amazing. Food and service was excellent at both dinner and breakfast and the lounge/dining was comfortable and warm. Rooms were basic and cosy but also comfortable.

Nice views during sunrise and sunset. Japanese dining only option at restaurant which was myself not researching well enough, probably not recommended for fussy eaters . Shower is super small. Limited cooked breakfast menu also. Property seems to be under ongoing construction. Will be amazing when all finished.

Beautiful but area was unkempt holes with plumbing exposed water pipes laying on top of ground took away from the overall feel of the place. Also breakfast was “buffet” but was a continental.

Beautiful chalet, very clean, kitchenette, games, telescope, the most amazing views ever, watched the sunrise over the ocean from our bed. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Delicious breakfast included. 15 minute drive to Coles Bay and start of Wine Glass Bay walking tracks. Highly recommend this as a place to stay if in the Frecinet area.

We only stayed one night at Freycinet resort but enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff member. The cabins are compact but have everything you need including comforts of king bed, balcony, microwave, under floor heating and heated towel rail in bathroom. The dining room is spacious with a stunning view. The breakfast was fabulous. Next time we will have dinner there as well.

Unbelievable view, overlooking the bay. The little cabin we stayed in was perfect for us as we were only staying one night. The 4km drive up the driveway was exciting, but once there, the resort is amazing, with so many interesting sculptures. This is a fabulous experience; the restaurant/lounge area was perfect for relaxing. We didn't eat at the restaurant, only because Japanese was not my husband's preference, but we did eat our breakfast there, which was included in our stay, a mix of continental with a choice of four hot options also. Totally recommend this choice of accommodation.
