The hotel in general is a little outdated, however, the gym had all the necessary weights and cardio even though the treadmill was skipping a bit when running on it. The halls of the hotel smelled like a bit of mold, but couldn’t pin point what it smelled like. Breakfast was decent and service was great and on time by opening a few minutes before 6 am. We were there for my son’s baseball tourney. Rooms were cleaned daily and could not have asked for better service in the rooms. Front desk was helpful and courteous. Pool was fine, but no lights at night and around the pool was a bit dirty. Decent price for the area, which was not bad compared to some of the other places other bball families stayed at. Overall, I would stay there again.

Good stay. Hotel was busy and full. Stayed during my sons baseball tournament. Bathroom was very spacious and clean. Room was clean and comfortable. It stormed our second night there and lightening set off the fire alarms which caused the elevators to not work. Our room was right next to the stairs and we could hear every time someone opened and closed the door. Other than that it was a good stay. Would stay again.

I called and inquired about the swimming pool because my family loves to swim. They stated that they had a pool, and it was in good condition. I wish I had taken a photo. The pool had green algae, and you could not see the bottom of the pool. Also, the gate at the pool was not very sturdy. Unbelievable! When I spoke of my concern, the staff just told me she has nothing to do with it.

I love this hotel. I’ve stayed there a couple of times. It’s nice, cozy, and clean. My only complaint is that my room had a damp smell to it. I’m not sure if ut was the carpet or what. The staff were nice.

Cockroaches in the bathroom in our room. Light switch broken in the bathroom. The outlet cover plate was also broken. We had a 2 year old with us with access to open wiring. I left it on the floor for housekeeping and they just stuck the broken plate back on the wall. Found rubber band hair ties under edge of bed from previous guests. Never changed our sheets after 4 nights… I kept pulling the sheets off so they would put new ones on and literally kept pulling the same sheets on. I called the 2nd day for new sheets specifically and never ever got fresh sheets. The continental breakfast was lacking. Had cream cheese but No bagels. No fruit besides apples. Only had pork sausage so couldn’t eat there either. Plus there were cockroaches so didn’t really want to anyway. The ice machine on our floor was disgusting. There was also no AC in the hallway on our floor. But there was AC on the first & third floors. I only know because the ice machine on the third floor was much cleaner so we hauled the cooler up there to get ice every day. Staff never asked us if anything was good, if we were happy, if we needed anything, etc. Literally one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had.

The AC is motioned sensored so it will be hot if you get back into the room late. Also hope you don’t sleep too long because it’s motion sensored so the AC will turn off after so many hours of no movement. Went to just check out and the lady at front desk basically refused to check us out and argued with us.

Though he was nice and apologetic, after checking in I was left a note on my door to see the front desk again where they said I was given the wrong room and was made to move to another that smelled bad with air that seemingly wasn’t working on a floor I specifically asked not to be on. It was very noisy all night long and while trying to rest the next morning I got random calls from the front desk. There’s also a deposit required not disclosed on Expedia.

This is the worst motel we have ever stayed in, including low price motels in Las Vegas! It was noisy 24 hours a day. People milled up and down the halls day and night loudly talking and laughing. The maids were out cleaning every morning at 8:30 and yelled and talked. The walls were so thin that we heard every noise. My husband is hard of hearing and even he complained of the noise! The lady who checked us in insisted that since we had a pet we had to stay on the ground floor. However, I saw another couple with 2 dogs staying upstairs. The neighbors upstairs walked around heavy footed and sounded like they were dropping things on the floor over our heads until 4 am. We told the front desk but it did no good and we got 3 hours of sleep. Will never stay there again! Horrible!

We travelled overnight and check in process was taking forever. The lady in the front counter was definitely ready to go home. I couldn’t really understand her since she was mumbling and a mask on. The walls were thin so if you’re a light sleeper then you’ll hear everyone and everything. It was ok. Not the best but not the worst.

Tv didn’t work and we travel with pets and the room they gave us smelled like dog when the fan came on. Also the bathroom fan didn’t work. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but it was worn. This is a decent place to stay but it’s not worth the 112 a night they charged. Nice hot water with great water pressure. Friendly front desk staff. Breakfast was eh but it’s free, and has the basic packaged stuff that will get ya through and a waffle maker if that’s your thing. This is also in not the best part of town, the exit before and the 2-3 exits after had decent restraints and were well lit but this exit was surrounded by rundown buildings with not much around it so that was kind of a bummer. There was also a noticeable smell of gas’s leak on the left side of the building that was present at the entrance as well. I tried calling for days up until my reservation as I had an emergency and I never got through. I got there and tried explaining and the front desk person was very rude and dismissive. I was not able to speak or voice concerns as he countinued to cut me off, not allowing me to speak. I’m not changing anything on this review.

Very accommodating as we attended a football game that prevented us from checking until after midnight and I was concerned about the room being available with that late of a check in. It was no issue at all. Very friendly people at the front desk and I would stay there again next time I am in the Baton Rouge area

The room was clean and met our needs for a one night stay. We had an issue with our card but the manager was able to take care of it for us quickly. We really appreciated the person we spoke with on the phone, they were super friendly and helpful.

Front desk help was no where to be found when we came in to check in, seems very deserted. Coffee was out for breakfast and it took a while for someone to come help. Not a good place if you are going to be bring kids, did not feel safe

The hotel seemed relatively new and was clean and comfortable. Check-in at the front desk was disappointing however. Brittany, who was seated in the lobby and not at the front desk, did not smile when we walked in or even greet us, except asking if we had a reservation. It seemed like we were an imposition to her because we interrupted her phone call. She spoke low that I had to ask her to repeat what was said many times. The rest of the staff was pleasant and accommodating but Brittany should not be in a customer service position. Hotel was very nice

I didn't stay that night. I made a mistake in booking and the hotels.com site would not let me change it even though it could not have been more than an hour or two later that I discoved the mistake. Expedia would not help, leaving it up to the manager. He decided to play hardball an I lost the entire $115. I did stay in the hotel the next night.

The GM was very nice upon us checking out. I like that it’Sa gas station located right across the street however food options are not in the area have to drive about 10 miles but other then that everything was great. The rings were very clean and bed comfortable

Tv didn’t work and we travel with pets and the room they gave us smelled like dog when the fan came on. Also the bathroom fan didn’t work. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but it was worn. This is a decent place to stay but it’s not worth the 112 a night they charged. Nice hot water with great water pressure. Friendly front desk staff. Breakfast was eh but it’s free, and has the basic packaged stuff that will get ya through and a waffle maker if that’s your thing. This is also in not the best part of town, the exit before and the 2-3 exits after had decent restraints and were well lit but this exit was surrounded by rundown buildings with not much around it so that was kind of a bummer. There was also a noticeable smell of gas’s leak on the left side of the building that was present at the entrance as well. Overall it was livable but not nice enough to warrant the 112 price tag, more like 85 ish.

Everyone was pleasant from check-in to check-out. The lady at the breakfast buffet was on top of everything. She kept refilling and keeping the place clean. Very impressed that she was on top of everything. She cared about her presentation. I asked her for directions to downtown BR, told me exactly where to go. The rooms were clean. Used Expedia, few dollars off. No complaints.

Breakfast was adequate..Staff didn’t clean tables between customers. Supposed to change towels daily, unless you indicate not with do not disturb sign. We stayed three nights. 2nd day, didn’t change towels out. Took dirty towels to desk and they replaced..Woul have hung up and used again had we known.

Great experience for a family. Affordable, quiet. Clean, felt new. Kind staff. Pool is big. Breakfast has sausage, powdered eggs, yogurt waffle maker, juice. Only apples for fruit. Better than some but not best for this price point. Would stay again.

The room was clean, which we appreciated. If you’re looking for a pet-friendly hotel, this may be a good option. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience. Around 1:30 a.m., people across the hall stood outside talking loudly for more than 15 minutes with no regard for other guests trying to sleep. Throughout the night, dogs were barking, so we didn’t get much rest. The breakfast was just okay. Overall, because of the noise and lack of sleep, we would not stay here again.
