Day 1: Brown water, possibly sewage, flowed from the bathroom faucet. Staff’s response: “That’s pretty normal for South Jersey”. Day 2: The wretched stench of cigarette smoke permeated the same bathroom. Day 3: The toilet backed up during a flush attempt and staff finally moved us to a different room. Night 3: The A/C in the new room was defective and sounded live the engine of jet fuel-powered funny car. Night 4: The card keys to the new room failed to open the door. Staff response: “That ain't got nothing to do with me. You got a problem? Talk to the GM tomorrow morning. Here’s her card.”

I had the king suite. The bathroom wasn't as clean as I would have liked and the phone to call the front desk was broken. To be fair I didn't walk down to complain so they may have handled it if I had.

The stay at this hotel was great. The Hampton Inns have provided no disappointments whatsoever since the revamping of their buildings. They seem to have upgraded their looks/design of the lobby and shared areas. This location does have an indoor pool and indoor gym, we did not use but it is available. There is plenty of available parking including electric vehicle charging stations. The rooms were very clean and smelled clean, no musty carpet or AC odor which is what most would expect. Also the breakfast variety provided was amazingly well cooked, hot, and tasteful. The mini fridge and microwave in the room was also very clean. The only negative is that our hotel room did not have a full body mirror. I did find it strange that it did not have one as most hotel rooms do. However, the overall stay was a pleasant experience. I would stay here again.
