Walking Distance to Harvard University, Harvard Square, shopping stores, and restaurants. Very clean and spacious. The receptionist guy (I forgot his name) let us park in front of the hotel spot to go and eat breakfast nearby. Receptionist Madie and friendly guy (I forgot his name) were very helpful and accommodating. What I didn't like? No parking. Hotel park house is under renovation. We paid almost $100 for one-day parking at Harvard Parking Garage. I booked this VIP Access hotel, but I didn't get any credit except for free water, tea or coffee at the reception which is for all guests.

The room was nice. They upgraded us to a balcony room, which was extremely convenient. Heated floor in the bathroom was perfect on this cold day. The staff was helpful, convenient parking underground, no problem even though the valet was not on duty. Location ws very convenient to attend a concert in your by Davis Square and Friendly Toast is almost right across the street for amazing breakfast.

Location is very good and convenient. 3/4 minutes walk from the Harvard university, and have nice staffs. Water and tea/ coffee available all the time at free of cost. I loved this place because my son is staying 1 minute away from the hotel.

Hotel Veritas is a quaint boutique spot perfectly located in Cambridge. The bed was very comfortable, and it was a nice touch to have complimentary cold water bottles and coffee available. The shower had great water pressure, and everything was clean and well-kept. It wasn’t the quietest — we could occasionally hear people in the hallway — but there wasn’t much noise overall, and it didn’t bother us as heavy sleepers. All in all, a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

Nice small hotel, good for a short stay. Only real amenity was nice coffee in lobby and cold water. Parking lot is not safe for people or cars. Valet was half heartedly offered when it should have been required. Do not self park.

Nice hotel on the edge of harvard square. our queen room had a fairly large balcony which was nice. rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. parking was included with expedia vip status which probably saved quite a bit. elevator was broken when we arrived so we had to bring luggage up four flights. not too big of a deal for us but could be for other visitors. it was fixed within an hour.

The flight was delayed, so I was able to check in at almost midnight. The hotel was under construction, so it was very uncomfortable, and when I entered the room, there was a bad smell, hair on the carpet and in the bathroom, and countless stains on the floor, so I went back down and rang the front desk bell, but since it was too late, no one came out, so I just slept that day. The next day, I had a conference early, so I left, and when I came back to the hotel during lunch, I explained the situation, and the staff offered me a discount and a late checkout. My son suddenly got a fever and was sick, so I didn't want to move to another room or hotel so I just accepted and decided to stay one more day. The next day, they said there was no note on the checkout, so I couldn't get a discount or a late checkout, and even though it was clearly the staff's mistake, they were very rude to me. I felt like I was being discriminated against. Before coming to Boston, I traveled to 10 countries in Europe and 5 cities in the US in two months, and this was the dirtiest, most unfriendly, and most uncomfortable hotel I've ever stayed at in my life. I don't know how such a dirty hotel can get 9.0 reviews, and most importantly, the staff is so rude and unfriendly, this is the first time I've ever seen such a hotel. I hope no one ever stays in this hotel again.

We were in room 304. It is very small and no shelves on which to unpack. We had to work out of our suitcases. Also, there was insufficient hot water for showers. The room is so small there was nowhere to sit except on the bed or one seat at a desk. EXCELLLENT LOCATON to Harvard Square and surrounding.

Loved the boutique feel of the entire property. Beautiful and comfortable lobby guest area with a fireplace. Though room was smallish there was an ample balcony.

The staff could not be more friendly. Location is right off Harvard Square. The rooms are all very very small. Most do not have a chair. No towel rack or fan in the bathroom. “Queen sized” bed advertised which should be 60” wide but beds are only 48” wide — so not even a true full size. I saw 4 rooms when checking in as I could not believe it. Rug in my room had large stains all over. Overdue for a renovation.

This hotel is very clean, attractive, and a 5 to 10 minute walk to Harvard University an Harvard Square. The rooms are small. I love this place! Loved the renovated spaces and very clean and comfortable. I would give 5 stars if I did not have WiFi in the room issues Which made it very inconvenient. The staff strikes everything but was not resolved it before I checked out. The most upsetting is that I wrote them an email and no one responded even today almost a week after I checked out. I followed up my email and still waiting for their response about the compensation.

I don't know how such a dirty hotel can get 9.0 reviews, and most importantly, the staff is so rude and unfriendly, this is the first time I've ever seen such a hotel. I hope no one ever stays in this hotel again.

The flight was delayed, so I was able to check in at almost midnight. The hotel was under construction, so it was very uncomfortable, and when I entered the room, there was a bad smell, hair on the carpet and in the bathroom, and countless stains on the floor, so I went back down and rang the front desk bell, but since it was too late, no one came out, so I just slept that day. The next day, I had a conference early, so I left, and when I came back to the hotel during lunch, I explained the situation, and the staff offered me a discount and a late checkout. My son suddenly got a fever and was sick, so I didn't want to move to another room or hotel so I just accepted and decided to stay one more day. This is one of the cutest boutique hotels I’ve ever been to and the front desk, staff in the morning, during the day, and late at night we’re all equally stellar. The grab and go water, the wonderful assortment of hot teas, and the fancy Nespresso machine was an added bonus. The next time I’m in Boston, I will absolutely stay here again.

Clean, comfortable, cozy room on the edge of Harvard Square, which means a little noise (including subway, club across the street, etc.). Also means proximity to public transportation (subway, bus, etc.), as well as stores, restaurants, museums, etc. Reasonable value. Friendly front desk staff. Would stay here again.

Location is very good and convenient. 3/4 minutes walk from the Harvard university, and have nice staffs. Water and tea/ coffee available all the time at free of cost. I loved this place because my son is staying 1 minute away from the hotel.

Hotel Veritas is a quaint boutique spot perfectly located in Cambridge. The bed was very comfortable, and it was a nice touch to have complimentary cold water bottles and coffee available. The shower had great water pressure, and everything was clean and well-kept. It wasn’t the quietest — we could occasionally hear people in the hallway — but there wasn’t much noise overall, and it didn’t bother us as heavy sleepers. All in all, a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

This hotel is very clean, attractive, and a 5 to 10 minute walk to Harvard University an Harvard Square. The rooms are small. The room I checked into was attractive with a lots of natural light but didn't have a desk, so I switched to a room that did have desk but much less natural light. The staff went out out of its way to be helpful.

The Hotel Veritas is a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Harvard Square. It is in an extremely walkable location with easy access to the red line subway straight into Boston. I felt safe and extremely at-home staying there. I would have lived a full-length mirror and recycling bin in the room.

This hotel is a marvelous hotel, very close to the Harvard Square, yet quite and cozy. There is a fire place in the lobby. Very classy and provides free coffee and tea.

Fantastic in all respect. Friendly staff, and great 24-hour espresso machine. They don't serve meals, but there are plenty of great eateries nearby. Tatte Bakery & Cafe is highlky recommended for breakfast (including full breakfasts), pastries, and coffee.

A great and reasonable hotel near Harvard Square. The room was very small but nicely decorated in contemporary style. The bathroom was relatively large with nice amenities. The Nespresso machine in the lobby was a nice addition along with a nice array of teas. Parking was expensive, but we easily found parking using SpotHero. Staff were nice and accommodating. Worth checking out.

Very quaint hotel. Rooms are very small but is to be expected with this property. Some of the Front desk staff are very nice, some barely acknowledge your existence. Some of the housekeeping staff are very friendly and some just barge in the room despite that you have the "quiet please" sign on the door hours before regular check-out time.
