Tahiti Airport Motel

This was a great spot to stay while transitioning from one island to another. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was welcoming and very helpful. And, while close to the airport, it was actually quite quiet and restful…with the exception of the occasional rooster call! But that is island life.

It is close to the airport so was good to get to after traveling all day. The room was clean, water pressure good, bed firm but comfortable. Breakfast is ok. There is a charge but the pasties were very fresh. Internet worked but we had issues getting to it at first. There aren't any real amenities and it is a taxi ride from town. But it was fine for the two nights before our cruise. The staff was nice and helpful.

We couldnt let our Luggage at the front desk of the hotel until we were going to the airport. Our flight was at 9h30 pm so it was late at the end of the day. It is noted that we have reserved a room at this hotel during our staying at this town for two days.

The first night we arrived we didn't have WiFi, there was some issue with connection. Also air-conditioned was no strong enough, room was still hot overnight.. However staff was pleasant and helpful with helping us to get around without internet i.e calling taxis

Extremely disappointing stay — poor communication, uncomfortable room, dishonest staff. I would not recommend this hotel. The communication was practically nonexistent, and the overall experience was extremely disappointing. the room itself was very uncomfortable. It was hot, the air conditioning did not work properly, and the property is extremely outdated. The bathrooms were dirty, and the overall layout of the motel was strange, unpleasant, and not inviting. The entire property felt run-down and poorly maintained. The biggest issue was the way they handled the room key at checkout. At checkout, the front desk specifically asked me where the key was. I told them clearly that I had left it on top of the table in the room. The front desk acknowledged this and told me that it was okay and not to worry about it. I left assuming the matter was settled. About an hour after checking out, I received an email saying that I was being charged $20 USD for a “lost key.” Seriously? I had specifically told the front desk where I left the key, they acknowledged what I told them, and they told me not to worry about it. Yet they still charged me afterward. If the key was actually missing, why wasn't I told that at checkout when I specifically addressed the issue? What made the experience even worse was the lack of communication and the feeling that nobody was really taking responsibility for anything. Even a small issue like the key could have been handled better.
